Chapter 2582 Not Good Enough for Your Son 2

Chen Ying watched Zou Fang's departing figure, then turned and glared at her two children inside.

"So you can't control your mouths?"

This person arrived and then left without warning; it's obvious they overheard their conversation from outside the door.

“I didn’t say anything wrong. If it weren’t for our relationship with the Fu family, how could Luo Qianqian be worthy of our brother?” Nie Linlin didn’t think she was wrong. On the contrary, she thought Zou Fang was too petty.

Nie Sen, however, was somewhat worried. "Is this... hopeless?"

His company has been seeking investment, and if Luo Qianqian can reach a cooperation agreement with the Fu Group, it will bring even greater benefits.

Now that the Luo family has turned against us, this matter is unlikely to succeed.

“I’m going to the Luo family tomorrow to have a good talk with her. After all, we’ve been sisters for so many years.” Chen Ying finished speaking and glanced at the two of them. “When will you learn to say the right thing in the right situation?”

You can say whatever you want about your own child, but you can't tolerate others saying anything bad about them.

Nie Sen frowned and rubbed his temples. They had thought about these things, but they wouldn't say them out loud. What was wrong with them today?

"Forget it, we've made a wasted trip today. Let's go back," Chen Ying said.

Today was really strange; the two children were talking in weird ways, and unfortunately, Zou Fang overheard everything from outside the door.

After Nie Sen and his two children left, Gu Yunche came out of the private room next to theirs.

Then, I went to a nearby milk tea shop, bought Luo Qianqian's favorite milk tea, and delivered it to her.

Luo Qianqian had just come out of a meeting with Gu Weiwei when she saw him sitting outside with his things.

Why did you come here?

"I saw the milk tea you like, so I bought it," Gu Yunche said, handing the tea to her.

Luo Qianqian took it and glanced at Gu Weiwei and several colleagues beside her.

"You only bought one cup?"

"Is there a problem?" Gu Yunche asked in return.

Luo Qianqian rubbed her forehead, glancing awkwardly at Gu Weiwei. With so many people here, he only bought one cup for her. How could she possibly drink it?

“I don’t like milk tea, you can drink it yourself,” Gu Weiwei said.

This person is really bad at handling interpersonal relationships.

Anyone with a modicum of emotional intelligence would know to buy more.

However, this person only cares about the one they care about and doesn't care about others.

Luo Qianqian pulled Gu Yunche to a secluded spot. "You should go back first. I still have work to do here."

It's still several hours away from ending, and it's really inappropriate to leave him sitting here waiting.

"Okay." Gu Yunche nodded, said goodbye to her, and left.

When Luo Qianqian returned, Gu Weiwei teased her.

"Oh, you're getting all lovey-dovey now."

"Is it appropriate for you to call me cloying?" Luo Qianqian glanced at her.

Does she not remember how affectionate she and Fu Hanzheng were together?

Gu Weiwei chuckled, unable to refute.

What's your parents' attitude now?

"Don't even mention it. I don't know what's wrong with my mom, but she's convinced that I'm destined to bring bad luck to my parents, wife, and children. Lately, she's been trying to trick me into going on blind dates. Didn't you see my phone was off today?" Luo Qianqian said, letting out a deep sigh.

She understood that her mother's intentions were good, but she simply couldn't accept her mother's good intentions.

Gu Weiwei frowned, not expecting her mother's attitude to be so firm.

However, mothers who love their daughters will always be very picky about their sons-in-law.
