The family sat at the table, but it was unusually quiet.
At first glance, there is no trace of the warmth and happiness that a family should have.

Qin Lang ate a few bites of food and suddenly spoke up.
"The overseas company needs people, and I plan to go to the branch office in a few days."
Meng Ruya froze for a few seconds, then her expression changed instantly.
"When did you make this decision? Why didn't you discuss it with me?"
"There's nothing to discuss with you," Qin Lang said coldly.
Meng Ruya put down her chopsticks. "The child is so young and needs his parents' company. What will we, mother and child, do if you go abroad?"
"Do whatever you want," Qin Lang said coldly, as if the child wasn't his own at all.
“Then I’ll go too,” Meng Ruya said.
Qin Lang's face darkened. "I'm going to work, not on vacation. It's inconvenient for you to come over."
He wanted to go to the overseas branch, but he didn't want to see her again. How could he possibly take her with him?
"Dad, Mom, look at him! This child isn't just mine. He hasn't cared about anything since the child was born, and now he won't even give the child the companionship he needs?" Meng Ruya couldn't reason with him, so she decided to ask Old Master Qin and Madam Qin for an explanation.
"You..." Old Master Qin tried to speak, but he coughed so hard he could hardly breathe.

Qin Man looked at Qin Lang with a calm and indifferent gaze.
"Qin Lang, when will you be able to handle your household chores like a man?"
"If you don't come back to this house, it's none of your business to interfere in its affairs," Qin Lang said, his tone sharp with anger.
“I don’t want to interrupt, I just look down on you,” Qin Man said without any mercy. “You can say you made a mistake in choosing your marriage partner, but don’t you have any responsibility as a father to your child?”
The problems in his relationship with Meng Ruya are their adult business.
But he has a responsibility to his child, yet he doesn't know how to take responsibility and only knows how to run away.
They are shirking their responsibilities and avoiding their wrong choices.
