Tonight's dinner was unusually lively because of the discussion about Fu Shiyi's marriage.
After dinner, Gu Weiwei helped the two children bathe and brush their teeth.
Youyou is quite clever; she seemed to have picked up on something at the dinner table.
"Mommy, is Uncle... getting married?"
“Yes, your third uncle is getting married, and... you’ll soon have a younger brother or sister.” Gu Weiwei patted the two children’s heads and said gently, “You’ll be big brothers and big sisters soon.”
"Hey, Jie Jie, Jie Jie..."
Upon hearing this, Tian Tian clapped her little hands excitedly.
Gu Weiwei quickly washed her, picked her up, carried her back to the children's room, and changed her into pajamas.
Fu Hanzheng then picked up his son, who had been washed, and changed him into his pajamas. He then dried the hair of both children.
The couple put their two children to sleep before returning to the master bedroom to rest.
"You can offer suggestions for Fu Shiyi's marriage, but don't do any errands. He should handle his own wedding."
Fu Hanzheng was worried that she would be too busy with Fu Shiyi and Ding Dongdong's marriage, so he had started giving her instructions early on.
She had just finished promoting her movie and hadn't even had a couple of days to rest when Fu Shiyi was getting married because he was pregnant.
"I understand. My parents will take care of these things. I'm just offering suggestions." Gu Weiwei knew that she was worried about tiring herself out.
However, she is only in her twenties, and he spoils her so much that he treats her like an old woman in her seventies or eighties.
The next morning, Gu Weiwei had breakfast at home and then accompanied Madam Fu to the hospital.
When they arrived at the ward, Fu Shiyi was dozing off by the bedside.
Ding Dongdong, on the other hand, woke up early and immediately tried to get up to greet them when she saw them come in.
"Don't get up, don't get up, lie down properly." Madam Fu quickly stopped him.
Fu Shiyi rubbed his eyes upon hearing the sound.
"Mom, sister-in-law, you've arrived so early."
Gu Weiwei placed the breakfast she brought on the table and said.
"I brought you breakfast, please eat it while it's hot."
As she spoke, she helped serve Ding Dongdong some chicken soup.
"This is a soup that Mom made for you this morning. It has vegetables in it and is quite light and refreshing. Try it."
"Thank you." Ding Dongdong took it, tasted it, and said with a smile, "Auntie, your cooking is getting better and better."
Although I didn't eat at the Fu family's house often, Mrs. Fu's cooking skills were widely recognized as excellent.
"As long as you like it, you can drink it often in the future," Madam Fu said with a genuine smile.
Fu Shiyi was drinking porridge and eating steamed buns on the sofa when he turned to them with a smug look on his face.
"Is Fu Xiaoer furious at home when he heard I became a father?"
He'd been the youngest for so many years, and now his child was finally going to turn the tables on him.
"That's right, he was so angry that he didn't eat dinner last night, and I bet he didn't sleep at all." Gu Weiwei thought of Fu Xiaoer with dark circles under his eyes this morning, feeling both sympathy and amusement.
Is it really worth being so bothered by something like this?
Fu Shiyi slapped his thigh excitedly, "I knew it, I knew it, that guy would definitely be unwilling to accept it."
Gu Weiwei and Ding Dongdong exchanged a glance and sighed helplessly.
However, Fu Shiyi was unusually excited.
"However, it's too late now, even if Fu Xiaoer is unwilling. Even if he rushes to have a baby, my child will be born first."
Madam Fu glanced at his foolish look and said awkwardly.
“This guy is like this intermittently. If you can’t stand it, tell me or his dad, and we’ll deal with him.”
