Ji Cheng approached, took her arm, and retrieved the phone.
"Hurry up, the food's getting cold."
Gu Weiwei returned to the dining table and continued eating with everyone, chatting about their recent situations.
When the two heard that she was leaving tomorrow to record a variety show with Fu Shiyi, they were so excited they almost shouted.
"Ahhhhh, no wonder they're the only couple I've ever supported!" Ji Cheng exclaimed excitedly, then suddenly remembered something.
"Um... you and Third Young Master have such great chemistry, won't your Uncle Fu have any objections?"
Luo Qianqian glared at the gossipy Ji Cheng, "If there were any, we wouldn't have let them record the show. He's a mature and steady group president, how could he be so petty about something like this?"

All she had to do was act cute and charming, and Fu Hanzheng would present it to her.

Gu Weiwei watched Ji Cheng nervously twisting her fingers, and then thought more carefully about the question she had asked.
This girl, could it be that something happened between her and her childhood sweetheart cousin?
"I don't have an older or younger cousin, so I really can't answer you."
"Just imagine you have one," Ji Cheng pleaded.
Gu Weiwei smiled and shook her head, "It's impossible to say for sure. Everyone's experiences are different, and their ways of thinking will also be different. There's no accurate answer."
Ji Cheng sighed in distress and didn't press the matter further.
Luo Qianqian looked at her strangely, "So, your super handsome cousin... kissed you?"
"No way!" Ji Cheng immediately retorted.

"Anyway, there isn't one." Ji Cheng didn't want to talk about this anymore, and instead asked Gu Weiwei, "Your 'Changfeng' has become a huge hit, what are you planning to film next?"
"We just signed a contract with Mo Jiao for 'Eagle Eye,' and filming will start next month," Gu Weiwei said.
Luo Qianqian was shocked. "Mo Jiao is notoriously picky about actors. If they don't have acting skills, he won't hire them no matter how popular they are. You only played the second female lead in 'Changfeng,' and you got a role in his show?!"
