Early in the morning, Gu Weiwei was woken up by her phone alarm.
Fu Hanzheng was already dressed and sat on the sofa not far away, watching her still in bed. He got up and walked over when she woke up.
"Breakfast has been delivered. Shall we go wash our face and brush our teeth first?"
Gu Weiwei nodded sleepily and slowly got up.
Fu Hanzheng picked him up and carried him to the bathroom.
Do you need my help?
"No need, I'm not disabled." Gu Weiwei brushed her teeth first.
Fu Hanzheng waited on the side, asking with a teasing smile.
"Do your legs and back not hurt today?"
Gu Weiwei glared at him, then continued brushing her teeth.
Fu Hanzheng reached out and tidied her hair that was hanging down, and said.
"I have some things to take care of when I get back, so I might have to come back in a while."
After brushing her teeth, Gu Weiwei asked casually.
"Is it still about the Yuan family?"
He's been gone for so long, she doesn't know how their search is going.
However, Yuanmeng is currently safe.
“The Dorrance family has come to China and is also looking for them, which is very disadvantageous to the Fu family.” Fu Hanzheng’s eyes were somewhat solemn.
Gu Weiwei nodded thoughtfully. "Go outside and wait for me. Get me a coffee."
Fu Hanzheng went out and dialed the internal line to have his private butler bring over a pot of coffee.
Gu Weiwei closed the bathroom door, washed her face, and looked at the unfamiliar face in the mirror with a sense of disbelief.
Kaman Dorrance, she didn't know until she died that he was the biological father she had been searching for.
For a fleeting moment, she had the thought that she should go to him and tell him what had happened.
But then I thought, even if she left, who would believe she was his daughter?
Moreover, she had no idea what kind of person Kaman Dorrance was.
The Dorrance family had too many enemies; his mother was killed by his rival, and his own assassination attempt was probably also because of him.
That's what gave Ling Yan the opportunity to steal her heart.
Fu Hanzheng sat for a while, but he still didn't come out, so he came over and knocked on the door.
"slight?"
Gu Weiwei snapped out of her daze, wiped her face with a towel, and then opened the door to go out.
"I'll change my clothes."
She went back to her room, changed her clothes, and then sat down at the table, taking a sip of coffee to refresh herself.
"I have to go to work after I finish breakfast, so I can't see you off."
“Yes, I’ll come over when I have time,” Fu Hanzheng said.
“You don’t have to come over,” Gu Weiwei said.
For them, being in a long-distance relationship like this, just talking on the phone every day is enough; they really don't need to come over.
He was exhausted from filming all day and couldn't sleep well at all; it was too painful for him.
Fu Hanzheng: "I don't like long-distance relationships."
Unfortunately, her job requires her to travel all over the country, and she's often away from home for months at a time.
Gu Weiwei smiled faintly and remained silent; she liked it quite a bit anyway.
The thought of having a whole drawer full of condoms waiting for her at home made her want to stay busy forever and never go home.
The two had just finished breakfast when their agent, Qiao Lin, came upstairs and knocked on the door, urging her to leave.
"Then I'm leaving."
Fu Hanzheng escorted her to the door, kissed her reluctantly for a while, and then let her leave.
Gu Weiwei blushed as she went out the door and met up with her agent who was waiting outside.
Qiao Lin frowned as he looked at the girl with a flushed face. "Weiwei, are you... in love?"
"Huh?" Gu Weiwei felt guilty and shook her head with a smile. "Didn't you say I was too young to date?"
"No?" Qiao Lin stared at her suspiciously.
Her eyes and complexion possessed both the charm of a young girl and the allure of a woman; she clearly looked like she was nourished by love.
But he knew her whereabouts, so he couldn't tell which random man was trying to steal his precious cabbage.
