Despite having a ton of things to deal with, he had the leisure to come out and show a little girl around the mansion.
This behavior was nothing like the Carmen Dorrance he knew.
Kaman Dorrance watched the convoy drive away and said with a sigh.
"Gu Siting is right, she... does look like Weiwei."
Matthew looked at him and said with a laugh.
"When you sent Weiwei away, she was only one year old. You hadn't seen her for over twenty years. How could you meet someone and say she looks like Weiwei?"
Gu Siting said that the other person looked like her, after all, she had lived with Weiwei for more than 20 years, so it was understandable that she would see some similarities between Mu Weiwei and her.
However, Kaman never actually met Vivi, so how could he conclude that this Mu Wei resembled Vivi?
Anyway, no matter how he thought about it, he couldn't figure out where he came to such a conclusion.
“Seeing her reminds me of Vivi,” said Kaman Dorrance.
Even though they don't look alike, talking to her or even just looking at her reminds him of Weiwei.
Matthew sighed and said, "Probably because her name sounds a bit like Vivi."
Weiwei's passing was a huge blow to him. Now, when he sees a girl whose name sounds like Weiwei's, he immediately thinks she looks like Weiwei.
Kaman Dorrance ignored Matthew's teasing, turned around and went back inside, saying as he went.
"Do you remember the dzi bead that Gu Siting mentioned?"
Matthew was silent for a moment, then said, "Do you really believe in such superstitious beliefs?"
Kaman Dorrance glanced at Matthew and said.
"If it's true, I'm wondering... is there some connection between this Mu Weiwei and Weiwei?"
"You're... dreaming, aren't you?"
Matthew couldn't understand how he could assume that Vivi was a different person.
“I asked her how she met Yuan Shuo, and she said that Yuan Shuo rescued her in China a few years ago, and that’s how they met.”

Kaman Dorrance raised his hand, yet he couldn't quite put his finger on the feeling that was more indescribable than tangible.
"Matthew, you don't know, when I see her I feel that indescribable...that..."
"That's enough about the sense of familiarity," Matthew said, following him back to the study and closing the door behind him.
Kaman Dorrance sat down at his desk, pondered for a moment, and then spoke.
"What was the name of the person who received Vivi's heart transplant?"
“Ling Yan,” Matthew said.
“Investigate thoroughly everything that has happened between her and Vivi since they met,” said Kaman Dorrance.
The thought that Weiwei's heart was in her body made him feel uneasy.
Matthew: "We've already started investigating, but a definitive report will take a while. You're too hasty, Kaman."
Kaman Dorrance sighed and then said.
"Also, have someone keep an eye on Gu Siting. If the person who gave him the Heavenly Bead appears, bring him here immediately."
"Huh?" Matthew was getting more and more confused.
Kaman Dorrance's eyes were deep and somber as he spoke in a cold voice.
"If there is any news about Weiwei, I don't want him to know anymore."
