Chapter 65: Forgot the fear of being dominated by the "Wisp"

At Yingcheng Middle School, the three-day mock exam has finally come to an end.

Gu Weiwei had just turned on her phone after leaving the classroom when Fu Hanzheng called.

She glanced around and walked to a less crowded area before answering the phone. "Mr. Fu, is there something you need?"

"Is the exam over?"

"Um."

What time are you coming home?

"I need to prepare for the art college entrance exam, so I might be back late," Gu Weiwei replied.

To be honest, she didn't really want to see him. Last time, he had a meal with her and almost made her lose her mind.

"Okay, see you tonight." Fu Hanzheng said and hung up the phone.

See you tonight?

Gu Weiwei felt an urge to smash her phone. Damn it, he said he wouldn't come over often, but lately he's been coming over every few days, making it seem like she's living with him.

"slight!"

Ji Cheng and Luo Qianqian found her and walked on either side of her.

“I know all the teachers and students at the dance studio. I’ve already told them. You can start practicing with them recently.”

Luo Qianqian handed her a paper bag, saying, "Here, these are the dance clothes and shoes I prepared for you."

"Thanks, you two sweethearts." Gu Weiwei looked at the two walking on her left and right and said with heartfelt gratitude.

The entrance exams for the film academy are coming up soon, and the exams will include vocal performance, acting, and dance.

After the art exam, she was going to audition for a movie, a martial arts film, so there would definitely be a lot of action scenes.

She needs time to warm up and stretch before she can be in the best condition to face the exams and auditions.

The apartment is okay for simple things like leg stretches, but there's not enough space for more strenuous exercises. I'll have to find a way to practice with my classmates from the dance class.

"I'm still waiting for you to pass the entrance exam for the Imperial Film Academy and become a big star so I can cling to your coattails," Ji Cheng said, noticing Zhou Linna's poster still hanging on the wall not far away, and said indignantly.

"She couldn't even beat you in the last piano duel, and she's already signed with a record company. I heard they're going to produce a single for her. How blind are those people?"

"Don't worry about whether others are blind or not, the most important thing is for you to prepare well for the exam." Gu Weiwei said, and went into the changing room next to the dance studio to change into dance clothes and shoes that were convenient for practice.

The dance class was practicing ballet basics, which happened to be something she was good at, so she joined in the practice.

Ji Cheng and Luo Qianqian studied and reviewed their lessons in a corner of the classroom while waiting for her.

Most of the students in the dance class knew Ji Cheng and Luo Qianqian and were quite friendly to her. They started chatting after practicing together for a short time.

Everyone was focused on practicing their dance for the art college entrance exam when the vice principal and music teacher Ye Mei arrived with Zhou Linna.

"Teacher Liu, Lina's new song MV is going to be filmed at the school, and we need a few students to dance. I'd like to ask a few of you students to rehearse together, since it's a good opportunity."

"Principal, Teacher Ye, the art exams are next month, and everyone doesn't have enough time to practice. Who has time to care whether you're filming a music video or not?" A girl who didn't like Zhou Linna to begin with refused in annoyance when she saw that they were asked to choreograph a dance for her.

Zhou Linna, dressed in an elegant pink and purple long dress with her long hair flowing over her shoulders, walked gracefully into the classroom and said, "It's not like you came here for nothing. Besides, the MV will benefit you after it airs, won't it?"

When Zhu Xiaoqin and Zhou Linna's fans saw that they were given such a great opportunity to star in the music video, they couldn't help but say something.

"Giving you guys to be Lina's backup dancers is a chance for you to get exposure, don't be so ungrateful."

"Once Lina's new song comes out and becomes popular, you guys will try to ride on her coattails."

"Hehe." Ji Cheng closed the book, stood up and walked to Zhou Linna and the others. "Zhou, you've already forgotten the fear of being dominated by 'Will-o'-the-Wisp' so quickly. Weiwei is here too, how about we finish the piece we didn't finish last time?"
