Anthony Gustav was stopped by Fu Shiyi from knocking on the door and started verbally attacking Fu Shiyi at the door.
However, no matter how loudly they argued outside, the two people inside didn't open the door to even glance at them.
It wasn't until Quinn's servant came and knocked on the door that he spoke.
"Mr. Fu, it's time for dinner."
The door to the room opened, and Fu Hanzheng led Gu Weiwei out, not even glancing at Anthony Gustav before following his entourage downstairs to the restaurant.
"slight!"
Anthony Gustav gave up arguing with Fu Shiyi and caught up with the two of them, walking side by side.
However, while Fu Hanzheng could hold her hand, he couldn't.
"Weiwei, I have a gift for you."
Gu Weiwei chose to ignore his voice and his presence, and went to the restaurant with Fu Hanzheng. At Quinn's invitation, they took their seats.
Anthony Gustave arrived at the restaurant but left, only returning after the appetizers had been served, carrying a bouquet of vibrant roses.
"These roses were picked by me personally from the rose garden, and I wrapped them myself. I'm giving them to you."
Gu Weiwei didn't even look at the flowers he offered. "I don't like them, and I don't want to accept them."
Fu Shiyi looked at Anthony Gustav, unsure whether to admire him or pity him.
He actually gave his sister-in-law roses in front of his brother. Does he think his brother, his boyfriend, is dead?
"Don't you like red roses?" After saying this, Anthony Gustave called in his entourage, each of them holding a different bouquet of roses.
Quinn rubbed his forehead, feeling an urge to kick his younger brother out of the house.
So, he didn't listen to a single word of what he said back then?
“If you don’t like red roses, there are white roses, champagne roses…which do you prefer?” Antony Gustave asked.
Gu Weiwei: "I don't like flowers."
Anthony Gustave remained silent for a while, then had all the flowers taken away and sat down at the long dining table, feeling depressed.
He clearly checked and found that when she was promoting her movies before, fans would send her a lot of roses, which she received very happily.
Fu Hanzheng put down his knife and fork and looked at Quinn.
Can I borrow something?
"What is that?" Quinn asked in surprise.
Fu Hanzheng stood up, walked to the decorative table next to him, took a red rose from the vase of roses, and held it up to Quinn.
"I need to borrow this."
Quinn smiled and said, "Go ahead."
Fu Hanzheng took the flowers back to the dining table, sat down, and handed them to Gu Weiwei.
"I came in a hurry and forgot to buy you flowers."
Gu Weiwei chuckled, took the flower, and smelled its fragrance.
"It's beautiful, thank you."
Anthony Gustave watched as the person who had just rejected her flowers, saying she didn't like flowers, turned around and accepted roses from another man with a sweet smile.
"You said you didn't like it."
Fu Shiyi said with great sympathy, "My sister-in-law only likes what my brother gives her, not what you give her, understand?"
Anthony Gustav: "Vivian, that's not fair."
Gu Weiwei kept her head down and ate, seemingly oblivious to what was happening.
While dining elegantly, Fu Hanzheng made the suggestion to Quinn.
“I remember when we agreed on that project, you were supposed to send someone to be in charge. I think… Anthony Gustav would be a good fit. He can come back to the country with us soon.”
Quinn was still considering it when Anthony Gustav, upon hearing that he could return to China with her, agreed without hesitation.
"Okay, I'll go."
"..." Fu Shiyi looked at Anthony Gustav with sympathy as he agreed to return to the country with them.
His brother's meaning was definitely: It's not easy to deal with you on your turf now, but once we're on my turf in China, I'll teach you a lesson.
