Gu Siting sat with his back to the direction Yuan Meng had left, listening calmly to her questioning.
He remained silent throughout.
However, his dark eyes were filled with sorrow and pain from the depths of his soul.
Now, nothing else matters to him except finding her and seeing her again.
"Don't forget what you promised."
Yuan Meng left the small restaurant, went outside, got into her car, and sat down.
Alex Anderson got into the car and complained irritably.
"SeSe, look, I came as soon as you asked me to. Aren't you even a little touched?"
"Yeah, I'm so touched, okay?" Yuan Meng glanced at the blond man beside her.
Alex then said, "Then give me a thank-you kiss."
Yuan Meng sneered, "I can give you a thank-you slap, want to try it?"
He was harassing and pursuing her while dating other women. With that strong perfume on him, I wonder which woman's bed he just came from.
Alex sighed sullenly, glanced at her, and gave her a reminder.
"If you investigate Gu Weiwei's affairs again, the old man won't be happy."
"Whether he's happy or not is none of my business," Yuan Meng scoffed.
Alex: "If you keep investigating, I won't help you anymore."
If he hadn't helped cover it up, the old man would have known what she was doing long ago.
He can keep it a secret for a short time, but if she keeps pressing him, the old man will find out sooner or later.
"Okay, okay, I won't investigate anymore." Yuan Meng waved her hand, indicating that she would no longer interfere.
Having come this far, there's nothing more she needs to investigate.

She was just thinking that if he didn't call back in another hour, she would tell Fu Hanzheng that they had been looking for He Lina behind his back, and see if he could come up with a solution.
Unexpectedly, she had already escaped on her own.
"It's not certain who's making things difficult for whom. I made a deal with him, and he let me go," Yuan Meng said.
Gu Weiwei: "Exchange?"
Yuan thought for a moment and then told her frankly.
"I'm sorry, I traded your things with him."
"What do you mean?" Gu Weiwei was increasingly confused.
“Before your accident, you prepared a birthday present for Gu Siting, but you hadn’t picked it up yet. I told him about it,” Yuan Meng said.
She knew she didn't want to have anything to do with Gu Siting of the Gu family anymore, but in order to extricate herself, she still told Gu Siting about this without his permission.
Gu Weiwei smiled and said, "It's alright, as long as you got out safely."
She herself had forgotten about that thing, so it was a good thing that it helped her get away.
