Chapter 817 Old Fox Kaman

Will Dorrance smiled at Kaman Dorrance, then left with his men.

He didn't ask until they left the house and were about to get into the car.

"What did Kaman ask you?"

“We didn’t ask anything,” the leader said.

Will Dorrance got into the car and left Carman Dorrance's residence.

By the study window, Carman Dorrance and Matthew watched the group of people leaving quietly, their expressions deep and inscrutable.

“Kaman, do you suspect he has ulterior motives?” Matthew said.

Kaman Dorrance leaned on his cane and sat back down on the sofa. "Is there any doubt about that?"

Will suddenly became concerned about something he would never have cared about before, and even did so through such extreme means.

Therefore, it's only possible that Yuan Shuo discovered something, something Will didn't want anyone to know.

That's why he went so far as to send people to try and capture his son, hoping to use him to threaten Yuan Shuo.

However, he did not expect that Fu Hanzheng would step in to help rescue the person and even send his people to him.

"Could it be that Fu Hanzheng deliberately sent him here to make us suspicious of Will?" Matthew thought for a moment and said.

Kaman Dorrance smiled meaningfully and said.

“Fu Hanzheng had his reasons for deliberately sending people to me, but Will also had his reasons for sending people to capture Yuan Shuo’s son. After all… Fu Hanzheng didn’t force him to do this.”

Matthew frowned in thought and muttered to himself.

“Will has never paid attention to Yuan Shuo’s news over the years, so his sudden request to contact him is indeed noteworthy.”

“Keep Will on your side a bit longer, he might make a move,” Kaman Dorrance said.

Matthew was horrified. "You mean, Will is going to betray you?"

“He was never truly loyal to me, so there’s no question of betrayal.” Kaman Dorrance picked up his tea and took a sip, his thoughts unfathomable.

Matthew: "But he has always listened to you all these years."

“Obedience doesn’t equate to loyalty; his father died at my hands,” Kaman Dorrance said.

Matthew looked at his friend, whose thoughts were deep and unfathomable, and after a moment of silence, asked a question.

"So, you now suspect that Will is looking for Yuan Shuo because of the woman Yuan Shuo found in Barcelona?"

“Most likely,” Kaman Dorrance said.

Matthew: "Kaman, when you wanted to capture Yuan Shuo, you didn't really want to bring him back, did you?"

If he really wanted to bring the man back, he would have done the same to his son long ago, forcing him to return.

However, only a portion of them were sent, and after the failure, there were no further plans.

Kaman Dorrance smiled, got up and left the study.

"What's the use of bringing him back? He might bring back different news from outside."

Matthew paused for a moment, then followed and teased her with a smile.

"You really are a cunning old fox."

Kaman Dorrance sighed sadly, "Unfortunately, no matter how careful and meticulous I was, I never expected Vivi to leave before me."

The woman he loved most died because of him, and his only daughter was gone too. At one point, he didn't even know why he was still in the Dorrance family.

"Isn't that six-month period that Gu Siting mentioned almost up?" Matthew reminded him.

“Yes.” Kaman Dorrance walked downstairs step by step, glanced at Matthew and instructed, “So you’ll have to keep an eye on things lately, Will. I have to go to Country A in a few days. In any case, it’s time to bring Vivi back.”

Whether that six-month period is a real holiday or not will soon be clear.

If it's true, that would be great; it would be good if he could see her one more time.

If this is just an excuse for Gu Siting to delay, then he has no choice but to take her away from the Gu family.
