The wedding was scheduled for the second month after Gu Weiwei's birthday.
So after they got their marriage certificate, Mrs. Fu prepared to go to Slovakia to prepare for the wedding a week later.
Fu Hanzheng was worried that their connecting flights would be troublesome, so he arranged for his own private jet to take them there.
Since it was afternoon when we were leaving, everyone went together to see us off.
Fu Shiyi looked at his mother in disbelief as he watched as more than a dozen boxes were loaded onto the plane.
"You're going to your sister-in-law's wedding, not moving house, are you?"
“What do you know? There are some things they don’t have over there, so I have to bring them from here.” Madam Fu glanced at him.
Gu Weiwei listened and said with amusement.
"Mom, if there's anything else, just give us a call, and we'll bring it over."
"No need, I've brought everything I need. Don't worry, I'll definitely prepare a grand and magnificent wedding for you," Madam Fu said confidently.
Fu Shiqin muttered to Fu Shiyi standing next to him, "I saw the wedding planning proposal that Mom brought. It's not a wedding, it's a boarding ceremony."
All sorts of flowers that needed to be airlifted, all sorts of luxurious and high-end decorations—they were practically just short of getting a dragon throne for his sister-in-law.
"As long as they're happy," Fu Shiyi said with a dry laugh.
Their mother had been looking forward to her brother's wedding for years, and had come up with countless plans for it. Now that it was finally happening, she was going to go all out.
Madam Fu pulled Gu Weiwei aside and glanced at Fu Hanzheng as she spoke.
"Actually, it would be best if you came with us. If there are any problems with our arrangements, you can let us know in time."
Fu Hanzheng didn't speak, but simply put his arm around her shoulder and silently expressed his opposition.
"Mom, don't even think about it. My brother will never let my sister-in-law go with you," Fu Shiqin advised.
Given how lovey-dovey they've been lately, his brother would probably let his sister-in-law leave first for ten days or so, leaving him alone in the country.
Madam Fu reluctantly let go of her hand and gave Gu Weiwei some instructions.
"Then let's talk anytime, and communicate by phone if anything comes up."
Although she was very excited to prepare for their wedding, she still tried her best to please her daughter-in-law.
"Okay, Mom. You all take care of yourselves over there, especially Grandma," Gu Weiwei gently reminded her.
"Don't worry, we have a private doctor with us." Madam Fu smiled happily, then said to Fu Hanzheng, "Don't just focus on work, take good care of Weiwei."
"Mom, isn't that obvious? He's his own wife, doesn't he know how to take care of her?" Fu Shiyi chuckled.
His brother takes better care of his sister-in-law than anyone else, so why should she worry about her?
Madam Fu glanced at him sideways, then put on a stern face towards Fu Shiqin and Fu Shiyi.
"You two need to dress presentably before attending the wedding, don't embarrass your brother."
"Do I even need to fix my looks?" Fu Shiyi proudly flicked his bangs and said to his mother, "You should be worried about Fu Xiaoer. Tell him to lose weight, get rid of hair, and whiten his skin."
"Only women remove hair and whiten their skin, Fu Laosan, do you want to die?" Fu Shiqin was furious when he heard that this was another attack on him.
He just didn't want to live alone, so he moved in with him.
However, living under the same roof as him makes me want to beat him up eight hundred times a day. He exudes an aura of irritation from head to toe.
"I don't want to die, so you want to move out of my house?" Fu Shiyi asked with a smug smile.
