Gu Weiwei's hand holding the cup trembled. As Fu Hanzheng's footsteps grew closer, she sat there motionless, as if she had turned to stone.
Ji Cheng and Luo Qianqian put down their snacks, stood up, and spoke respectfully to Fu Hanzheng.
"Uncle Fu, we've come to see Weiwei. Sorry to bother you."
Fu Hanzheng's face darkened further. He looked at the girl sitting there with a guilty expression and curled his lips into a playful smile.
"I haven't noticed when you've ever respected or loved me?"
Gu Weiwei gave a dry laugh, "I respect and love you in my heart, Uncle Fu."
He's ten years older than her, so calling him Uncle Fu is perfectly fine.
Fu Shiqin was suppressing his laughter, which was extremely painful for him.
From the moment Fu Hanzheng entered the door, Luo Qianqian and Ji Cheng felt that the atmosphere in the living room became somewhat oppressive. They sat there without daring to eat or speak.
The two exchanged a glance and decided to leave.
"Weiwei, we still need to practice the piano to prepare for the art exam, so we'll head back now."
"Didn't we say we'd have dinner before leaving?" Gu Weiwei said.
Ji Cheng smiled wryly. With Boss Fu's powerful aura, they didn't even dare to breathe loudly, let alone stay for dinner.
"No, let's go back and practice the piano."
Luo Qianqian placed a stack of test papers on the tea table and said.
"This is the mock exam paper. The teacher said to redo all the questions you got wrong to reinforce your understanding. Take advantage of these few days to do it."
After saying that, the two of them shouldered their bags and ran away as if fleeing a disaster.
Gu Weiwei saw the two out and returned to the living room. Fu Shiqin was flipping through her test papers and looked at her with a shocked expression.
"Mu Weiwei, you failed every subject except English. What were you learning at school?"
Fu Hanzheng was surprised. He glanced at the test paper in Fu Shiqin's hand and frowned slightly.
Gu Weiwei snatched the test paper back and snorted irritably, "I've been on leave for more than half a year and haven't been to school. It's already pretty good that I got this score."
I got the highest score in English in the whole grade, but the other subjects... were really terrible.
"Putting everything else aside, getting 53 points in Chinese is quite impressive," Fu Shiqin said.
Gu Weiwei stared resentfully at the red crosses on the test paper and sighed with a headache.
There are so many classical poems and prose in the Chinese language curriculum, but country A doesn't teach any of these, so of course she wouldn't be able to do them.
Chinese mathematics is even more insanely difficult.
She attended a prestigious private school in Country A, where she majored in the arts. They didn't have as many exams, and the questions weren't nearly as bizarre.
She went to this mock exam without any preparation, and the results were truly appalling.
Fu Hanzheng looked at the dejected girl, walked over, reached out and patted her head to comfort her, and asked with a gentle smile.
"Should I find you a tutor?"
She applied to the Beijing Film Academy, but with her current grades, it will probably be very difficult for her to get in.
Gu Weiwei thought for a moment, then nodded and said, "Find me a math tutor; I can keep up with the other subjects myself."
She really struggles with math, but with her exceptional memory, she can definitely improve her grades in other subjects by studying on her own.
Fu Shiqin asked with amusement, "Did you catch this yourself? Are you planning to get a brain transplant?"
With only a few months until the college entrance exam, and her grades so poor, she'll definitely have to repeat a year next year.
"Fu Shiqin, what do you mean? Are you saying I'm brainless?" Gu Weiwei glared at him coldly.
Fu Hanzheng looked at her annoyed expression and said.
He was talking about himself.
"Huh?" Fu Shiqin looked at his older brother, who was obsessed with women and neglected his brother, in disbelief.
"Isn't that right?" Fu Hanzheng asked in a slightly somber tone.
Under the pressure of his own brother, Fu Shiqin was on the verge of tears.
"Yes, I said I have no brains, I've never had any since I was a child."
Gu Weiwei: "..."
