Chapter 915 Like Father, Like Daughter

Yuan Meng sighed in dismay when she heard that she had thought of everything.

Like father, like daughter; they're both indeed foxes.

"You really don't need to worry or be nervous. After all, a big shot is a big shot; he's not so easy to defeat."

"The Gu family hasn't found that person yet, and neither has Kaman Dorrance?" Gu Weiwei asked.

As far as she knew, they had been searching for several months. With the intelligence network of the Gu family and Kaman Dorrance, even if it was like finding a needle in a haystack, they should have found it by now after half a year.

Moreover, the person who was supposed to appear half a month ago has still not shown up.

Sometimes she wondered if that time really existed, but since she herself had died and been reborn, she had no choice but to believe it did.

"Stop talking. The people the Gu family sent have been searching, but they only said they're looking for a Chinese man with black hair and fair skin. There are tons of people like that. Who knows which one Gu Siting wants to see?" Yuan Meng complained irritably.

With just this little bit of information, even a god couldn't find the owner of the nine-eyed dzi bead.

"Has Gu Siting shown any unusual behavior?" Fu Hanzheng asked.

Gu Siting should have known all along that Kaman Dorrance was watching him, and he probably also knew that Kaman Dorrance didn't want him to know anything about her.

However, if he didn't want to be discovered by Kaman Dorrance, he would take some precautions.

Yuan Meng frowned and thought about the message Yuan Shuo had told him before speaking.

"He seems fine, going to get off work and coming home as usual, but I heard he's been experiencing anxiety and insomnia lately."

Fu Hanzheng was still vaguely worried. "We need to keep an eye on who he meets."

"Don't worry, Old Fox and Yuan Shuo are both keeping an eye on him in Country A. They're not stupid; they won't send anyone to disturb your wedding," Yuan Meng said.

Fu Hanzheng thought for a moment. He had arranged for people to be with him. Kaman Dorrance and Yuan Shuo were also in Country A. They should not let Gu Siting get out of control.

Gu Weiwei silently gripped his hand. The most difficult hurdle for her had already been overcome: revealing her identity to him.

But now is just the beginning of them facing the future together.

Yuan Meng glanced at the rearview mirror and reminded her.

"I think Ling Yan is still living at the Gu family's house, so she's probably certain that no one has discovered what happened to her."

Now that the person Gu Siting is waiting for hasn't shown up, Ling Yan is probably the happiest person of all.

She must have thought that as long as that person didn't appear, no one in the world would ever discover the secret that she had killed her.

"I've already prepared a big gift for her; I'll give it to her when I have time." Gu Weiwei's eyes flashed with sharp coldness as she thought of Ling Yan.

She's just busy getting married right now and doesn't have time for her.

“I thought you’d forgotten about this enemy,” Yuan Meng snorted.

Gu Weiwei chuckled coldly, "How could I forget?"

Her heart is still there with her; how could she possibly forget it?

Upon hearing this, Fu Hanzheng frowned and asked her.

"What are you planning to do now? Didn't you promise to leave it to me to handle?"

"I...I'm just doing a little bit, nothing dangerous," Gu Weiwei said with a smile.

Yuan Meng chimed in, "When it comes to revenge, you have to do it yourself to quell the hatred in your heart. Even if you help kill them all, you still won't be able to swallow your anger if you don't take revenge yourself."

Fu Hanzheng pondered for a moment and then took a step back.

“If there’s no danger, you can do it yourself.”

He was already horrified just hearing about everything she had gone through from her and Yuan Shuo's accounts, so he must have felt just as much hatred now as she had felt at the time, having personally experienced it all.

As Yuan Meng said, even if he could help her get rid of the people who harmed her, she would still have to vent her anger herself.
