The flower-adorned hall was no longer warm and sweet; it was now filled with loneliness and silence.
When Gu Siting saw the beautiful young girl in a wedding dress turn back, he was overjoyed and went up to her.
However, instead of a warm welcome after a long separation, she was met with a resounding slap.
Gu Weiwei glared at the person in front of her with hatred in her eyes. "Gu Siting, are you satisfied now?"
Even if he had agreed to remove her heart and transplant it into Ling Yan, she wouldn't hate him as much as she does now.
The crisp sound of a slap echoed loudly in the quiet auditorium.
Fu Shiyi, who followed her in, shrank back in fright.

But he came looking for her, on her wedding day, to ruin her wedding and make her a sinner in the eyes of the Fu family.
Gu Siting raised his hand to wipe the blood from the corner of his mouth and offered words of advice.
"Weiwei, you just saw it too. The Fu family will never accept you. You won't be happy with Fu Hanzheng."
Gu Weiwei smiled coldly and asked sarcastically.
"Would I be happy if I went back to the Gu family?"
He orchestrated the conflict between her and the Fu family, all to force her to go back.
Over the years, he has always only thought about himself. As long as he achieves his goals, he doesn't care what others have to endure.
“Weiwei, let’s put the past behind us and start over.” Gu Siting looked at the young girl in front of him with hopeful eyes and said, “Without Ling Yan, without Fu Hanzheng, we can only go back to our home and return to the happiest and most joyful time of our lives.”
No matter what kind of past she and Fu Hanzheng had gone through in the past year or so, he didn't care. All he wanted was for her to come back and return to his side.
Gu Weiwei's eyes were as cold as knives as she looked at the man in front of her who kept asking her to return to the Gu family.
"Gu Siting, do you know how I died?"
"I will avenge the murderer who tried to kill you." Gu Siting reached out to pull her, pleading, "Come back with me, Weiwei."
