Mrs. Fu returned to get some things and then went back to the hospital with Fu Shiqin.
Fu Shiqin drove with a depressed mood the whole way.
"Mom, did you persuade my sister-in-law to get a divorce?"
Madam Fu sat in the back seat, her face full of worry.
"Given the current situation, what can we do but prevent them from getting a divorce?"
What should have been a joyous occasion turned into this mess is not what she wanted to see.
But the old lady wouldn't change her mind anytime soon, and her illness couldn't be delayed any longer. Instead of giving in to her wishes and letting them get a divorce, we should focus on getting her treated first.

Gu Siting came to expose her and ruin their wedding because he didn't want to see her marry Han Zheng.
If they don't get a divorce, Gu Siting will still come looking for her and will try every possible way to cause trouble for the Fu family.
The old lady didn't want to see her cause more chaos in the Fu family.
She admitted that she was a good girl, and Han Zheng liked her very much, but the old lady could never accept her because of her past relationship with the Gu family and the things her biological father, Kaman Dorrance, had done to help the Gu family.
Upon hearing this, Fu Shiqin said...

"If my brother and his wife don't get divorced, and Gu Siting sees the person she's so eager to bring back, yet he's all in love with my brother, don't you think he'll be furious?"

"Don't give me that nonsense. I won't listen to you, and your father and the others won't listen either." Madam Fu scolded Fu Shiqin.
"How is that twisted logic?" Fu Shiqin glanced at his self-harming mother in the rearview mirror and continued, "Some issues look different from a different perspective. My brother is the one who suffers from his divorce. It's a case of the loved ones being hurt while the enemies are happy. Gu Siting is probably secretly laughing."
“But if our brother doesn’t get a divorce, Gu Siting will be the one suffering, and he’ll be so angry he’ll die.”
