Upon hearing this, Fu Shiyi didn't try to persuade him to stay at all, and immediately had another termination agreement drafted.
"Here, your termination agreement."
Since he brought it up himself, it saves us the trouble of firing him.
Qiao Lin didn't even look at it much before signing his name.
"I will hand over the work as soon as possible, and those two artists will be transferred to other people."
"You can do whatever you want." Fu Shiyi made no demands.
Gu Weiwei thought Qiao Lin would consider it for a few days, so she wanted to talk to him after she signed the contract. Unexpectedly, he proposed to Fu Shiyi to terminate the contract with Shiyi Culture.
She waited until Qiao Lin had signed the termination agreement before making the suggestion.
"Shall we go downstairs for a coffee and talk?"
“Sure,” Qiao Lin readily agreed.
When Fu Shiyi heard that they were going downstairs for coffee, he got up and followed them.
The coffee shop downstairs from the company is actually run by the company itself, and artists from Shiyi Culture often appear there, so the three of them drinking coffee there didn't attract much attention.
Qiao Lin looked at her and Fu Shiyi and asked.
"May I ask what happened in Slovakia?"
Even now, he still hasn't figured out her series of decisions to move out of the Fu family and terminate her contract with Shiyi Culture.
Gu Weiwei added two drops of sugar to her coffee cup, but before she could answer, Fu Shiyi had already answered for her.
"Something unexpected happened, the wedding was forced to be canceled, and then my brother and sister-in-law were forced to get a divorce."
"Divorced...divorced?" Qiao Lin was shocked and asked incredulously, "Weren't we married? How come we're divorced now?"
"Anyway, it's because of a misunderstanding that my father and the others are now against their marriage," Fu Shiyi answered for her.
Qiao Lin couldn't stand him anymore and glared at him irritably.
"I'm talking to Weiwei, can you please not interrupt?"
Before Weiwei could even speak, he started talking.
The problem is that this person never explains himself clearly the first time, which infuriates him.
I used to tolerate him because he was my boss, but now that we've terminated the contract, I'm too lazy to keep putting up with him.
"..." Fu Shiyi shut up reluctantly and looked at Gu Weiwei.
Gu Weiwei took a sip of coffee and spoke slowly.
"Actually, Third Young Master has explained it pretty well."
"Why?" Qiao Lin pressed.
Fu Hanzheng blinked. "What? Why?"
"Why cancel the wedding? And why are your parents objecting? Didn't they get along quite well before?" Qiao Lin asked.
He remembered that they had been going to the Fu family's old house frequently recently. Not long ago, they even held a lively birthday party for her at the Fu family's old house. Why were they now opposing her marriage to the boss and even trying to force them to divorce?
“This…” Fu Shiyi looked at Gu Weiwei, the real reason being that it involved her and the Gu family.
Whether or not to tell Qiao Lin the truth depends on her decision.
After all, this all concerns her.
Gu Weiwei pondered for a moment, then smiled faintly.
"It's just a misunderstanding. I will be leaving the Fu family for the time being."
At least until Old Mrs. Fu recovers, she and Fu Hanzheng cannot let them find out that they are seeing each other again.
Qiao Lin was still a little confused after hearing what she said.
"So, was your divorce from your boss real, or just a sham?"
"It's just getting a divorce certificate," Gu Weiwei said.
