Chapter 2849 Weiwei's Second Child 2

She went into the restroom and didn't come out for more than half an hour.

The two children got a little anxious and came over to knock on the door.

"Mom!"

"Mom!"

...

Gu Weiwei snapped out of her daze, hurriedly packed her things, opened the door, and went out.

"Honey, what's wrong?"

"Mommy, play with us."

The two little ones talked, each holding one of her hands, and led her to their toy room.

Although Gu Weiwei was with them, she was somewhat absent-minded as she thought about the possibility that she might actually be pregnant again.

That day happened to be during her safe period, and she thought about how long it took her to conceive when she was pregnant with Youyou and Tiantian.

So she didn't have any post-coital medication at home, and she forgot to take it, so she didn't think much of it.

As it turns out, this "safe period" is not safe at all.

Fu Hanzheng has always been unwilling to have any more children, so knowing this must make him feel very complicated.

Now that Youyou and Tiantian are in kindergarten, it's a time when they really need companionship.

If they have another child, their energy and attention will be focused on the younger one, and she's afraid she'll neglect both of them.

Lost in thought, Fu Hanzheng had already come home from get off work.

As soon as I entered, I heard a noise coming from the children's room and came over.

As soon as the two children saw him, they excitedly ran over to hug him.

After holding the two children, Fu Hanzheng asked Gu Weiwei.

"Honey, don't you want a hug?"

"No, I don't want it anymore," Gu Weiwei said, guiltily lowering her head to tidy up the child's toys.

She hadn't figured out how to tell her, or whether to keep the child or abandon it.

Fu Hanzheng approached, reached out to stop her from packing her things, and said sternly to the two little ones.

"Do your own things, and put away your own toys."

The two little ones were stunned for a moment, then obediently went to pick up the toys they had scattered all over the floor.

Fu Hanzheng glanced at Gu Weiwei, whose eyes were darting away, and frowned.

This is her usual behavior of feeling guilty, but she rarely feels guilty in front of him.

"Is something the matter?"

"...No." Gu Weiwei denied with a smile.

She didn't say, and he didn't press her for details, but simply expressed his concern.

"We have a half-day off tomorrow. Why don't we drop the kids off and go to the Traditional Chinese Medicine hospital to get checked out? You don't seem to be feeling well lately."

For several days in a row, she seemed exhausted.

I thought I'd be fine after a couple of days of rest, but there's been no improvement today.

"No need," Gu Weiwei shook her head.

I'm feeling unwell and extremely tired; it's all because of pregnancy, right?

Luckily, I went back to the old house that day to attend An'an's full moon celebration, and I had been thinking that I had an upset stomach.

"Weiwei?" Fu Hanzheng's face darkened.

If it's not a major problem, he usually goes along with her.

But since she wasn't feeling well, we couldn't let her have her way.

Gu Weiwei pursed her lips, went to the restroom, and brought out a pregnancy test she had just used, handing it to him.

"Well, you decide what to do."

Fu Hanzheng took it, glanced at the two lines on it, and his brows slowly furrowed.

"Are you... sure?"

They've always been very careful, how could she still get pregnant?

“There’s a whole bunch more inside. Go check and make sure you’re sure.” Gu Weiwei pointed to the bathroom.

Fu Hanzheng didn't believe it. He went into the bathroom and looked at the rows of pregnancy tests that showed two lines on the sink. He couldn't help but rub his forehead in exasperation.

This is exactly what he feared most, and ironically, it happened.
