The arrival of Mrs. Fu and Mrs. Fu made the already lively No. 7 Zhujiang Grand View Villa even more lively.
Mrs. Fu and Mrs. Fu did not return to their room to rest until the two children had gone to bed.
Gu Weiwei and Fu Hanzheng saw the two people off at the door, and only after watching them go inside did they turn back to their own house.
“Aunt and Grandma Fu have both moved out, it seems there’s quite a conflict. You and the second and third young masters should try to persuade them.”
Mrs. Fu and Fu Shengying sometimes quarreled, but as far as she knew, it never came to the point of Mrs. Fu running away from home.
It was bad enough that Madam Fu left home, but Grandma Fu went with her too.
"Don't worry about it, he should think about it on his own." Fu Hanzheng put his arm around her and led her into the room, instructing her, "If we try to persuade him, we'll only cause trouble."
He had already told his mother and the old lady not to mention the reason for their argument in front of her, so as not to upset her if she found out.
Gu Weiwei sighed helplessly. Madam Fu said not to worry about it, and he also said not to worry about it. What else could she say?
"I have a video conference to attend. You should take a shower and rest first," Fu Hanzheng said gently.
Because of the time difference between China and other countries, video conferences can only be scheduled during the daytime in the foreign country and nighttime in their country.
Gu Weiwei nodded, went back to the master bedroom to wash up, changed into pajamas, and then sat on the bed to read.
Fu Hanzheng's video conference lasted for more than an hour. When he returned to the room, he saw his wife, who had just taken a shower, hugging a pillow and intently reading a book.
He didn't disturb him, but went straight to take his pajamas to take a shower. When he came out, he saw that the person was already asleep, holding a book in one hand and hugging a pillow in the other.
He took the book away, removed the cushion and tossed it aside, then lay down on the bed, pulled the person into his arms, and covered them with the blanket.
Early in the morning, Gu Weiwei woke up earlier than Han Zheng, a rare occurrence. She lay on her side, staring at the sleeping man, quietly waiting for him to wake up.
Fu Hanzheng didn't open his eyes until the alarm rang, and when he turned his head, he met his wife's gentle and tender eyes.
When did you wake up?
“It’s been a while,” Gu Weiwei said, reaching out to hug his waist. “Honey, I have something to discuss with you.”
"oh?"
Fu Hanzheng raised an eyebrow with interest, waiting for her to continue.
“After the robbery, I felt unsafe not having anything to protect myself, so I asked Yuan Meng for a ring. It contains some neurotoxin; if it scratches the skin, it will paralyze the person.” Gu Weiwei looked at her, her eyes filled with a flattering smile. “You won’t object, will you?”
Fu Hanzheng pondered for a moment, "Are you sure it's not something fatal?"
It's not that she can't keep something for self-defense, but it's best if it's something non-lethal.
Otherwise, it would be bad if you accidentally hurt yourself.
"No, and I definitely won't wear it at home. It's safer to wear it when I go out," Gu Weiwei assured her.
Wearing a mask while constantly in contact with my two children at home is definitely not safe.
But she carried it with her when she went out, so that if she were ever kidnapped again, she wouldn't be left with nothing to protect herself.
"Let Lei Ning test it first," Fu Hanzheng said, implying his agreement.
Upon hearing this, Gu Weiwei agreed and then continued.
"Yougu and Tiantian had their aunt and uncle take care of them today. Can I go to the hospital to see Huizi?"
It had been several days since they last visited Keiko Kuroda at the hospital.
