In the moonlight, Gu Weiwei stared coldly at the person who came out to greet her, still wearing Fu Hanzheng's men's trench coat.
She didn't want to waste time being polite and asked directly.
"I'm back. Where's Youyou?"
"Weiwei, I promise I'll let him go, but not now," Gu Siting said with a smile.
If all you want is for her to come back, then you'll just release the child. Why go through all this trouble?
If he releases the child now, Kaman Dorrance and Yuan Shuo will be right here and take her away on the spot. Wouldn't all his efforts be in vain?
Gu Weiwei gritted her teeth and put forward her conditions.
"You can refuse to let her go, but you have to let me see him."
Since Youyou went missing, she has only seen the child in two short videos he sent her.
As for how the child is doing now, whether the person looking after him is feeding him on time, or whether he has made him sick, she knows nothing.
Gu Siting smiled faintly and said calmly.
“You’re back so late, you need to rest. I’ll let you see him after breakfast tomorrow, but... it will only be via video call.”

Although Yuan Shuo had been telling him about her life in China for the past two years, the father and daughter had never actually met or even spoken on the phone.
Gu Siting entered after them, and among everyone present, he was probably the only one who could smile.
He poured him some tea and said.
"This is your favorite Ceylon tea."
However, Gu Weiwei didn't even taste it, or even glance at it.
"I don't like it anymore. Now I like Qimen black tea from China."
A hint of anger flashed in Gu Siting's eyes, but he did not show it.
"What else would you like to drink?"
Gu Weiwei didn't speak, but took the glass of water that Yuan Shuo poured for her, drank half of it, and then said...
"Since the important business is in the morning, let's talk about it then. I'm going to my room to rest."
After saying that, he got up and called Luo Qianqian to go upstairs together.
She really didn't want to sit here facing Gu Siting; she was afraid she would want to go to the kitchen and grab a knife.
She wanted to rest, and Gu Siting didn't stop her. Instead, he gestured for Kuroda Shigeo to go upstairs and lead the way for them.
“Miss Vivi, your room has been prepared long ago,” Kuroda Shigeo said.
However, Gu Weiwei did not go to her old room, but went to the room Yuan Shuo had mentioned.
However, before she could open the door and go in, Kuroda Shigeo reminded her.
"Miss Vivi, in order to ensure a smooth video call tomorrow morning, please stay in this room."
Gu Weiwei tightened her grip on the doorknob, then slowly loosened it.
"Kuroda Shigeo, after all these years, you've become more and more like a lackey."
Kuroda Shigeo did not argue, and silently went to open the door for her.
"Miss Weiwei, this is your room. Please feel free to let me know if you need anything."
