Three void creatures pulled the coffin from the ground and carried it back on their backs.
The three moved in perfect unison, as if they were one person.
The person standing at the front slowly said, "Wrong. We were just asked to summon this Void Kui Bull. We have no ill intentions towards you. Now that the matter is settled, we should leave!"
Having said that, the three of them made no attempt to linger.
He immediately dodged and retreated.
"What's going on here?"
Ye Li looked puzzled.
He quickly donned his Void Armor and teleported ahead of the path the three had taken to escape.
Clench your right hand.
A burst of purplish-gold energy instantly condensed into a heavy hammer, which slammed down on the void creature running at the front.
"Bang!"
The void creature didn't even have time to dodge.
He was smashed to the ground with a hammer.
Immediately afterwards, Ye Li teleported to the second person.
The same hammer blow.
"Bang!"
The man's head and body were smashed into a bloody pulp.
Finally, Ye Li teleported to the last void creature.
Just as they were about to make their move.
The man immediately knelt down on the ground with a thud.
His nimble movements seemed to come without a second thought.
It was purely out of bodily instinct.
"Spare me!"
Then, a heart-wrenching cry for mercy rang out.
Ye Li paused, ceasing his attack.
His gaze fell upon the void creature before him.
The other person was crying and wailing, their face filled with terror: "Big brother! We really were just here to complete a mission, there was no need to kill us all!"
He didn't want to end up like his two companions, smashed into a pulp.
"Hmm? You guys have a mission too?"
Ye Li asked in confusion.
The Void Creature nodded vigorously, saying, "Yes, we Coffin Bearers are the most peace-loving race in the Void! We usually just take on errands to earn some resources. We have never done anything immoral or immoral, and we have never participated in any wars."
"The Coffin-Carrying Clan? How many races are there in your Void Lands?"
Ye Li asked curiously.
From the very first encounter with void creatures until now.
He has indeed seen quite a few races.
Since arriving in this world, he has seen many kinds of void creatures.
“So many kinds, so many kinds!” the Void creature exclaimed hurriedly. “There are three main categories: Void Insectoids, Void Humans, and Void Humanoids. However, each category can be further divided into at least a thousand or even tens of thousands of species. There are many more.”
He took a short breath and continued, "We, the Coffin Bearers, are also a type of Void Human Race. However, our strength is only at the bottom of the entire Void Land; we are nothing special."
He paused for a moment, then scratched his head somewhat embarrassedly: "So, we just come out to deliver packages, pick up trash, do the tasks posted by the authorities, and earn some spare resources to make a living. We never dare to compete with anyone for anything, and we've never done anything immoral or unethical!"
"The main reason for this mission is that I heard someone killed the son of the Void Demon Clan Chief last night. The Demon Clan Chief was furious and issued a kill order. As long as you accept the mission, you will receive a reward of 500 Void Stones. If you can kill the person, you will receive a reward of 50,000 Void Stones!"
He became more and more excited as he spoke, his voice unconsciously rising eight octaves: "500 Void Stones! That's no small amount. We coffin carriers might not earn that much even if we worked ourselves to the bone delivering packages for a year!"
As he spoke, he took the coffin off his back.
Then place it in front of Ye Li.
He made a move to open it.
Ye Li's gaze sharpened.
The void creature quickly explained, "Big brother, don't be afraid. This is a special delivery box for our coffin-carrying tribe. All the orders we receive are usually placed in here."
Having said that, the void creature slowly opened a crack and reached its hand inside.
Ye Li kept a close eye on its every move, ready to kill the void creature instantly if it made the slightest move.
