Chapter 209 Applying Medicine

After Han Bing finished serving the dishes, her phone suddenly rang. She swiped to answer and walked towards the kitchen while talking on the phone.

At the same time, Ah Long came out of the kitchen carrying a pot of still steaming grilled fish.

Upon seeing this, Ji Lun instinctively shouted, "Watch out!"

Unfortunately, Ah Long was deaf and mute and couldn't hear his voice at all, so he continued walking forward.

Just as the two were only a few steps apart, Ji Lun rushed over, pulled Han Bing into his arms, and then quickly turned around.

In a dizzying moment, Han Bing's phone fell to the ground and then crashed into a solid chest.

The man grunted, and Han Bing finally reacted, calling out, "Ji Lun!"

Ah Long hurriedly put the grilled fish aside and came over to check on Ji Lun's injuries.

Ji Lun used sign language to tell Ah Long not to be so reckless and to watch his step next time he serves food.

Ah Long nodded, his face full of guilt.

He used sign language to tell Jilun that the store still had burn ointment, and he would go get it now.

"Are you alright?" Ji Lun asked.

Han Bing said irritably, "That's what I should be asking you. You're the one who's injured, not me! How are you?"

Han Bing's attitude was assertive, but also full of concern.

Ji Lun shook his head, "I'm fine!"

He turned around and sat down on the chair next to him.

The moment she turned around, Han Bing noticed that Ji Lun had been burned in a large area on his back.

She bit her lip, feeling somewhat guilty. "I'm so sorry, Mr. Ji, it's all because of me that you got hurt! Come with me, I'll take you to the hospital to get it checked out!"

Ji Lun gestured with his hand, "No need, we have very effective burn ointment in our shop, Ah Long has already gone to get it!"

Han Bing was spoiled by her family since childhood. She usually spends most of her time bickering with Han Feng and rarely comforts anyone.

But since he was injured because of her, Han Bing thought for a moment, then took out a lollipop from her pocket and handed it to Ji Lun.

"Here! Have a lollipop! This will help relieve the pain. It's orange flavored, my favorite!"

Ji Lun smiled as he looked at the lollipop wrapped in orange wrapper. "You're still treating me like a child!"

"Who says only children can eat lollipops!" Han Bing was clearly unhappy. She unwrapped the candy and stuffed it directly into Ji Lun's mouth.

Ji Lun was taken aback, then looked at the girl in front of him with affection. "Han Bing, there's something else I want to discuss with you."

"What's up?"

"Han Bing, as you saw today, there are a lot of people here, so it's inevitable that some people will accidentally bump into things, you..."

"In the end, you still want to get rid of me?" Han Bing interrupted him.

The girl's chest heaved with anger. "Jilun, what happened today was an accident. I'll be more careful in the future! Don't ever say things like 'let me go back' again!"

Seeing her stubbornness, Ji Lun couldn't help but sigh, "You, a dignified young lady of the Han family, are serving dishes in a place like this. What kind of talk will it make if word gets out? Besides, if anything happens to you while you're here, how am I supposed to explain it to your brother, and to the entire Han family!"

"Jilin, I don't care what others think, and I don't care about their opinions. I want to do what I want to do. All I know is that I love this kind of down-to-earth life, so I won't leave!"

Just then, Ah Long walked over and saw Han Bing with a dark expression, so he cautiously used sign language to ask Ji Lun what had happened.

Ji Lun looked helpless, shrugged, and didn't say anything.

Ah Long glanced at Han Bing secretly and then gestured a couple more times.

"Hey Ah Long, stop calling me 'tigress' all the time! I have a name, Han Bing, okay?"

Although Ah Long couldn't hear what Han Bing was saying, he had the feeling of being caught doing something wrong.

Han Bing didn't waste any words with him and took the burn ointment from his hand to apply it to Ji Lun.

But seeing that his clothes were still stuck to his skin, she said, "Why don't you go back to your room and take your clothes off? It's not easy to apply the medicine like this."

"Alright! Ah Long, come upstairs with me! You hurry home!" Ji Lun said, standing up.

"Let Ah Long go about his business! I can apply the medicine for you!" Han Bing said.

"It's inappropriate for a girl like you to be in a man's room!" Ji Lun said earnestly.

"What's the big deal? It's just applying some medicine. Besides, as you can see, there are so many customers in the store right now. How could they possibly have time to apply the medicine for you?" Han Bing said, pointing towards the kitchen.

Ji Lun's lips were pressed tightly together; he couldn't find any other reason to refute.

Seeing that the man was speechless, Han Bing pushed him upstairs, saying, "Hey, come on, come on! You're a grown man, why are you being more fussy than me?"

The two went upstairs, where there were three rooms. Two of the rooms had their doors open, and a quick glance revealed clothes scattered all over the bed, chairs, and sofa, with a lingering smell of sweat.

Ji Lun walked over awkwardly and closed the door, saying somewhat embarrassedly, "They're usually quite busy and don't have time to tidy up, so it's rather messy."

"It's okay, I understand," Han Bing said, pretending to be nonchalant. "By the way, which one is your room?"

Ji Lun pointed to a room with the door closed, "This one."

The two pushed open the door and entered. Ji Lun's room was much cleaner and tidier in comparison.

Han Bing cleared her throat, somewhat embarrassed, "Um... well, take your clothes off! I'll apply the medicine for you!"

With a man and a woman alone in a room, Ji Lun clearly sensed the awkward atmosphere. He smiled and said, "How about we just leave? You go out first, and I'll see if I can apply the medicine myself."

"Hey, you're not some kind of superhuman, don't try to be strong, I'll help you!"

As Han Bing spoke, she reached out and helped Ji Lun take off his clothes.

Ji Lun is very tall. He was wearing a white shirt today, and Han Bing stood on tiptoe to help him unbutton it.

The distance suddenly closed, and the two could clearly hear each other's breathing. Han Bing's face instantly turned red.

Ji Lun took a step back. "I'll do it myself!"

After taking off his shirt, unlike Ji Lun's delicate face, what was revealed beneath the white shirt was a muscular upper body.

Han Bing was stunned for a moment before turning around and saying, "You...you lie on the bed! I'll apply the medicine for you!"

Without saying a word, Ji Lun walked over and lay down on the bed.

Han Bing unscrewed the medicine bottle, squeezed a little medicine onto her hand, and then gently drew circles on the injured area on Ji Lun's back.

Afraid of hurting him, she applied the medicine while blowing air on his wound.

As Ji Lun felt the soft touch on his back and the slight tickling sensation from the girl's breath, his body involuntarily became a little hot.
