Ji Lun scratched his head, somewhat embarrassed, and said, "Jingjing, next time I'll take you to the hot springs by myself. Amang has a younger sister to take care of, so it might not be very convenient."
Tian Jingjing was quite straightforward and didn't hesitate. She turned to look at Lu Yanting, her eyes full of anticipation: "Mr. Lu, when are you free? Let's all go together then!"
Lu Yanting's face was cold and stern. "No, it's a date for you two. I'd better not be a third wheel."
Tian Jingjing sighed in disappointment, "Alright, let's talk about this later!"
Afraid that she would be unhappy, Ji Lun quickly suggested, "Jingjing, it's okay, we can go to the First Amusement Park first. The First Amusement Park is also a lot of fun."
Tian Jingjing quickly looked at Qiu Mang, "A-Mang, you can't refuse me! It's an amusement park, you can bring your sister along!"
Qiu Mang nodded. "Okay."
On Saturday, Lu Yanting drove Qiu Mang and Qiu Li to the amusement park.
Lu Yanting gripped the steering wheel, while Qiu Li chattered away in the back seat, telling him about the fun things that happened at school. Qiu Mang listened and giggled.
The man opened the car window, letting the warm spring breeze caress his face. He could hear the two sisters' cheerful voices. Lu Yanting smiled slightly, finding the feeling subtle but not bad.
Upon arriving at the amusement park entrance, Lu Yanting took two backpacks out of the trunk: a purple StellaLou backpack belonging to Qiu Li, and a white backpack belonging to Qiu Mang.
Qiu Mang took the backpack and slung it over her shoulder. Today she was wearing a pink sweatshirt, ankle-length jeans, and her hair was tied in a bun. Her slightly chubby face was flushed in the sunlight, making her look only a few years older than Qiu Li.
Facing the bright sunlight, Lu Yanting squinted slightly, a hint of doting in his eyes. He couldn't resist and gently pinched Qiu Mang's soft, bouncy cheek.
Qiu Mang's eyes widened instantly. She glared at him and unconsciously took two steps back. "Lu Yanting, what are you doing? Qiu Li is still here!"
Lu Yanting glanced at Qiu Li without making a sound. Seeing that the little girl's attention was completely attracted by the dazzling array of amusement facilities in the playground and she hadn't noticed what was going on here at all, he couldn't help but feel a little happy.
Taking advantage of Qiu Mang's momentary lapse in attention, he swiftly planted a light kiss on her cheek, followed by a smug smile on his lips, like a mischievous child who had succeeded in his scheme.
Qiu Mang was startled by his sudden shameless behavior. She was both angry and ashamed. She raised her hand to cover the half of her face that had been kissed, her beautiful eyes wide open, and glared at him angrily: "Who gave you permission to kiss me?"
Lu Yanting raised an eyebrow and replied nonchalantly, "Hmph, do I need anyone's permission? I can kiss you whenever I want."
"You!" Qiu Mang was speechless for a moment, glaring at him angrily.
"Don't flatter yourself! Your sister hasn't even noticed you. In her eyes, you're not that important."
Lu Yanting raised his chin slightly, gesturing for Qiu Mang to look in Qiu Li's direction.
Qiu Mang looked over and, sure enough, Xiao Qiu Li was staring intently at a giant, adorable Donald Duck mascot not far away, completely unaware of what was happening here.
Qiu Mang shook his head helplessly.
"We're here!" A clear and loud female voice came from behind.
Qiu Mang turned around upon hearing the sound and saw Tian Jingjing and Ji Lun walking briskly toward them, chatting and laughing.
"I really want to ride a roller coaster!" As soon as Tian Jingjing approached, she became excited and waved her hands and feet, pointing her slender fingers straight in the direction of the roller coaster.
Ji Lun, carrying Tian Jingjing's handbag on his back, casually wiped the fine beads of sweat from his forehead, a doting smile on his lips, and replied, "Okay, whatever you say."
He had barely finished speaking when he noticed Xiao Qiuli standing to the side, looking troubled, and hesitantly said, "But this roller coaster is too thrilling, I'm afraid it's not suitable for little kids..."
Lu Yanting glanced at the notice posted at the entrance of the amusement park and saw that it mentioned that there was a children's play area in the park and that people could hire someone to help take care of the children.
He made a quick decision, took out his phone and dialed Han Feng's number, briefly explaining the situation and asking him to make arrangements as soon as possible.
This amusement park belongs to the Han family's business. At this moment, Han Feng is also inspecting the park, accompanied by his sister Han Bing.
After finishing his phone call with Lu Yanting, Han Feng's face instantly darkened.
With a lollipop dangling from her mouth and her cheeks puffing out, Han Bing couldn't help but tease Han Feng, who looked so worried, "Hey, what's wrong? Your face is as dark as the bottom of a pot. What's troubling you? Tell me so I can cheer you up!"
Upon hearing this, Han Feng stood up abruptly and angrily said, "Han Bing! Don't you have any conscience? I'm still your brother, what kind of sister spends all day mocking her own brother!"
"Fine, don't tell me then!" Han Bing shrugged nonchalantly, pouted, and continued leisurely eating her lollipop.
Seeing Han Bing's indifferent and aloof attitude, Han Feng became even more furious and gritted his teeth, saying, "It was Brother Yan Ting who called. He and one of your employees came over to play, and they brought a child with them. They said that many of the rides in the park are too thrilling for the child, so they asked us to send someone to help look after the child."
Han Bing tightened her grip on the lollipop, her expression turning serious, and said, "Then hurry up and send someone over! Don't we already offer this service?"
Han Feng scratched his head in frustration, looking worried, and said, "The problem is that it's the weekend today, and the customer traffic is terrifyingly high. All the staff have been sent out to work, and there are simply no extra people available right now!"
At this point, Han Feng became increasingly frustrated and couldn't help but complain, "You know, Qiu Mang is something else. It's the weekend, and Yan Ting finally gets a day off, but she insists on dragging him to a place like this. She doesn't know how to be considerate at all. I really don't understand what Yan Ting sees in her!"
Han Bing rolled her eyes at him and retorted irritably, "Relationships are a private matter for other people. I advise you not to meddle in their business. Besides, they saved you last time. It's not very nice of you to hide behind their back and talk bad about them."
Upon hearing this, Han Feng immediately recalled the scene of Qiu Mang saving him last time, and he deflated like a punctured balloon, feeling utterly depressed.
That's right. If Qiu Mang hadn't saved him last time, he could still hate her without any guilt. But now, after being saved, he feels awkward and doesn't even have the confidence to stand up for Sister Jingyan.
Han Bing, however, did not notice Han Feng's subtle psychological changes. Her eyes darted around, and she suddenly remembered the phone call from Lu Yanting. A plan came to her mind.
