Chapter 222 You Seduced Me
Si Yuan was awakened by thirst.
I opened my eyes groggily, feeling as if there was a handful of dry straw stuck in my throat, dry and astringent, and my head was spinning.
She subconsciously reached to her side to see if Si Xingzhou was properly covered with the blanket.
But what my fingertips touched was a cold sheet.
"Small boat?"
She called out in a daze, but no one answered.
Si Yuan suddenly opened her eyes and was greeted by a dimly lit room with heavy curtains drawn tightly, blocking out all the light.
Her heart skipped a beat, and a sense of unease instantly welled up inside her.
She propped herself up and looked around. The bed was empty; there was no sign of Si Xingzhou.
"Xiao Zhou! Si Xingzhou!"
Si Yuan panicked completely. She threw off the covers and got out of bed, but as soon as her feet touched the ground, she stumbled and fell to her knees because her legs were too weak.
How could you be sleeping so soundly?
She remembered that she had only drunk a glass of water and then fell asleep, so how could she not even know when the child left?
Si Yuan stumbled and fell to the door, reaching out to twist the doorknob.
It remained completely still.
The door was locked from the inside.
At that moment, a chill ran from the soles of my feet straight to the top of my head.
Si Yuan refused to give up, frantically turning the handle and pounding on the door: "Open the door! Song Yan! Open the door!"
Only deathly silence answered her.
Si Yuan turned around and ran back to the bedside, groping around for her phone. It wasn't on the bedside table, it wasn't under the pillow, all her communication devices were gone.
Si Yuan's heart was pounding so hard it felt like it was going to burst out of her chest.
She sensed something was wrong.
It seems I've been...locked up.
Si Yuan rushed to the window and yanked the curtains hard. The blinding sunlight poured in instantly, forcing her to squint.
She looked out the window, but the window was also sealed up.
Si Yuan was now even more certain.
Her body went limp, and she went back to the door and pushed it hard.
"Song Yan! Where did you put the small boat?! Open the door!"
Finally, steady footsteps came from outside the door.
The footsteps drew closer and closer, finally stopping at the doorway.
But the door didn't open. Instead, through the door panel, came Song Yan's familiar voice, which made her feel incredibly uneasy at that moment.
"Xiao Yuan, you're awake?"
His tone was calm, even with a hint of gentle laughter, a stark contrast to Si Yuan's current panic.
"Song Yan! Are you crazy? Open the door!" Si Yuan questioned through the crack in the door, her eyes already red. "Where's my phone? Where's Xiao Zhou? Where did you take him?"
There was a moment of silence outside the door, then Song Yan's voice came through.
"Siyuan, you just woke up, you can't get too emotional."
He opened the door from the outside and pushed it open to enter.
Stepping into the house, he locked the door behind him, placed a bowl of warm porridge aside, and said, "I made you some porridge, have some."
"I won't drink it!" Si Yuan pushed away the hot porridge that Song Yan had put down, thinking that Song Yan had gone mad.
Five years ago, he went crazy and kissed himself.
Si Yuan thought that after so many years, he had matured and would no longer do such childish things.
"Give me back my boat! What do you want?"
Song Yan looked down at the mess on the ground; the porridge he had cooked himself had been spilled by Si Yuan.
Song Yan wasn't angry, but he felt sorry for her.
He looked up at her again, his eyes deep and unfathomable: "What do I want to do? Xiao Yuan, shouldn't I be asking you that?"
He approached step by step, and Si Yuan retreated step by step until she had nowhere left to retreat and her back pressed against the cold wall.
"You're going to take him to see Jiang Wang, aren't you?"
Song Yan's voice lowered, filled with suppressed and restrained anger, "You're so eager to leave me? You can't even wait a day?"
"That's his father!" Si Yuan cried out in despair. "Song Yan, wake up! You're my brother, you can't do this to me!"
"elder brother?"
Song Yan seemed to have heard an extremely absurd joke, and suddenly grabbed her wrist with such force that he almost crushed her bones.
"What younger sister would seduce her older brother during puberty? Si Yuan, you broke the rules first, so why did you reject me first?"
His eyes were bloodshot, his breathing rapid, and he stared intently into her eyes: "I don't want to be a brother anymore. I didn't want to be one five years ago, and I don't want to be one now."
Si Yuan looked at him in shock and disbelief.
They were even more astonished by what he said.
Did she...seduce him?
At eighteen, she had already tried very hard to hide her feelings; she never asked for anything in return.
Lin Shuangyu ruined everything.
Perhaps realizing he had frightened Si Yuan, Song Yan's gaze froze for a moment before softening again.
He couldn't bear to see her cry.
When she cries, she feels especially sad.
He took a deep breath and said slowly, "Xiao Zhou is safe with me, you don't need to worry."
Song Yan leaned close to her ear, his warm breath spraying against her neck, which made Si Yuan tremble all over. "As long as you behave and stay by my side, I will treat you very well, a thousand times, ten thousand times better than Jiang Wang."
Si Yuan sneered, looked up, and pushed against his chest.
"You're dreaming!"
Si Yuan struggled to get up, but Song Yan easily held her down. With red eyes, she looked at him and warned, "Song Yan, this is illegal!"
"Breaking the law?" Song Yan sneered, his eyes turning cold. "I'm just bringing my family back. Who can stop me? I just want to take my sister back to the past. What law have I broken?"
"Why does it have to be Jiang Wang? What do I lack compared to him? Haven't I treated you well all these years? I've protected you, taken care of you and Xiao Zhou in the best of my ability, what more do you want?"
He released her wrist and saw a red mark on it, and his heart ached for her again.
He didn't actually want to hurt her like that.
It was all Jiang Wang and his ilk who forced them into this situation.
"Moreover, I've already made arrangements. In a few hours, we'll leave the capital and go somewhere where nobody knows us."
Si Yuan shuddered, looking at him in terror: "Where are you taking me?"
"Let's go somewhere where it's just the three of us."
Song Yan raised his hand and gently stroked the corner of her eye with his fingertips, wiping away her tears.
Si Yuan gritted her teeth, avoided him, and didn't want to look at him again.
Song Yan didn't care at all: "Xiao Yuan, stop thinking about running away from me. This time, your brother won't abandon you."
He took it as solemnly as if making an oath, making a change for the cowardly version of himself from ten years ago.
It was as if he had betrayed Song Yan, the once-proud and talented young man.
Si Yuan took a step back in despair.
She knew that Song Yan had truly gone mad this time.
As Song Yan looked at her, who was so close to him, his heart, which had been on the verge of breaking, seemed to gradually recover.
See? As long as she's by their side, they can all be fine.
——
Jiang Wang waited until evening, but Si Yuan still hadn't arrived.
Fang Yan walked in with her phone in hand and said, "I can't get through."
As she spoke, Fang Yan suddenly looked at Jiang Wang: "She won't change her mind after just one night back, will she?"
