Raziah couldn’t even remember anything about how he looked like in the past even as she stared at him now. It’s like he never even existed to her at all apart from the vague memories she had about him knocking on her door those days just to bother her with words that she never took seriously, and didn’t even listen to much. Back then, she didn’t know he would prove to be a problem now.
There’s no way she would have known that Prince Theon had somehow began to see her more than the figure she was supposed to be to him.
"I never knew a day would come when you’ll come to see me yourself, sister," he stated smoothly, running his Fingers through his hair that looked slightly damp with a perry look flickering in his eyes.
"Prince Theon." She greeted back, bowing slightly at him.
He just stood there, staring at hrt from head to toe over and over again as if trying to point out exactly what about her had changed. But Raziah had no time to waste there standing with him, because she couldn’t even trust anything or anyone around now. She would only have to make the best out of what she can do, and watch how things would unfold themselves later on.
Now there was one thing that had been bothering her ever since he opened the door about him, and she was calming her heart and trying to tell it that maybe... Just this once, it was wrong about it’s ugly suspicious about Prince Theon.
"Won’t you come in?" He took a step back, making way for her to pass but Raziah didn’t move.
Walking into his room would be her first mistake getting here, so she gently shook her head, "I haven’t come to talk for a long time. It would be short, and quick." She specified, and started, "I heard you’re mad at something related to me,"
He still didn’t walk back to his earlier position, and just stood inside his room perched by the door and staring at something ahead of him, "No wonder you’re here at my doorstep," then he chuckled softly, shaking his head at her question.
"I’m here to sort it out before it escalates more than it should. I should have informed you that I would be introduced, and I apologize for that." Raziah almost rolled her eyes, knowing she was about to say a lot of things, "I came to this palace ten years ago looking for shelter, and I kept myself away from all of you. You were the only one who usually checked up on me, and I can never be more grateful for your time. But I’m married now, and I do hope we can keep our relationship the way..."
He cut by off by turning to her and emitting a sly and deep chuckle from his lips, showing off all his teeth. Theon looked like a deranged prince laughing as he pressed his palm against his forehead, as his laughter got even deeper and more sonorous. It was one filled with disbelief, spite and something even worse lurking she could still feel.
"What are you trying to say?!" He stopped laughing and gave her a curt once over, "You must have already heard everything from my father before coming here. You’re much aware that I can ruin everything you’ve ever built with just one word, and you negotiate with just words?" He took a menacing step toward her, but Raziah didn’t even bat an eyelash on him.
"And what exactly have I built?" She questioned.
"Seeking shelter from my father from whatever it is. I was watching you years ago when you and that foolish guard of yours came in here looking like the whole world had just been taken from you. The Crown emblem you were carrying on your dress didn’t go out of sight, so I’m well aware of the kingdom you arrived from."
Raziah mentally nodded at herself this time. He surely is showing how much of a problem he would be for her.
"So, you’re gonna tell?"
"You got married to the King of Erandell, right? Whether or not you’ve told him about yourself, I’ll make sure to mention it loud and clear and see what he has to say. You know a woman should never keep such intricate and sensitive secrets from her own husband,"
Raziah almost yawned. If he was trying to intimidate her with the wicked look in his eyes, then he was woefully failing at it because she has seen even worse than it.
"What do you want then?" She then tried to negotiate. She would hear what he has to say, what he wants from her to keep shut, and if it doesn’t sits well with her, then something will definitely go down between the both of them. It’s a a good thing she secretly stole another kitchen knife during her stay with Uariel that day.
"You know what I want," Theon then pulled closer to her, and walked behind her. He sure had a hefty amount of audacity flowing through his veins when he tucked a few locks of her hair behind her ear, and leaned in to whisper, "You, of course." His breath ran over her ear,and now a finger was running down her arm.
"How could I be of use to you?" Raziah fisted her arms
"You’ll come back here right after dinner, and I’ll let you understand," He inhaled her exposed skin deeply, purring against her ear.
"I see," She clutched the side of her dress, getting ready to do what she had planned. She was gonna knock him out with that insanely fast kick, and lock him inside the room. Earlier on, she already told King Octavius about it if her own negotiations do not get to him, and Octavius had given her the go-ahead... But it came with a warning.
He had stated that lately, Prince Theon has been acting very strange and no one can explain what is wrong with him. He keeps to himself all the time inside his room, and hardly allows anyone inside.
One of the main reasons why she had declined his invite into his room.
Immediately, Raziah whirled around and raised her legs to kick him. She didn’t go as fast as she can because he was only human and if she uses that insane speed to kick him, he would definitely die from impact. She went at the regular pace that would snap his lights out, already anticipating him falling on the ground with his eyes closed when... He suddenly blocked her legs with his arm right before it got to his neck, and Raziah’s eyes shot open a little.
They stood there staring at each other for less than minute before Raziah quickly pulled her legs back. It had shocked her as to how he was able to block her when she was sure she had came at him unexpectedly, and made sure that the speed of her movement was something he wouldn’t see coming, and would efficiently do the work.
"I’ve heard about your signature kick, Princess." Theon then took a step closer which had her backing away before he would bump into her. She knew his room was right behind her so she quickly took a sharp turn with her legs, "And I was told that I should expect it," Suddenly, he grinned this time and Raziah’s heart ached.
She knew it wasn’t supposed to, but there was just something so dubious about him now that wasn’t there before. She could remember training with Malcolm while she was still here once in a while at night, so maybe he might have seen her in training trying to kick her opponent but what the hell did he mean by he was told to expect it?!
"That dinner would hold. Even if you successfully knock me out and throw me down a well, you would find me at dinner so you better think of another way to shut me up," He took another step towards her, his hands folded in front of his chest, "You should never had gotten married to anyone except me, Raziah!" His eyes burned with anger and jealousy, "Didn’t I make it clear enough that I wanted you?! Or did you think I kept coming to see you because I had nothing better to do?! I stopped seeing all my women just because of you! And what do I get in return?! You getting married behind my back, and now an attack, right?!"
Raziah couldn’t believe what he had turned to. She didn’t even notice him there with her most of the time, talk more of neglecting his feelings which she didn’t notice too until now. And now he reeks only pure spite toward her, all the pure feelings he has evaporating and has been replaced with something else.
"You have only one choice. Surrender yourself to me after dinner, or I would make your life the beginning of a living hell. Shall I make your cold even worse than it already is?" He tilted his head to one side, his voice concrete with threat and hate that Raziah didn’t know when her clenched fists move and she had already punched cheeks.
His head was whipped to one side, and his eyes were closed. Raziah never imagined she could hate a human so much, but right now her mind was recoiling with the urge to actually give him another fulfilling blow straight to the lips this time but she refrained from doing so. Something was gnawing at her mind about what he had said earlier, and a shattering fear crossed her mind that he might not be alone in all this.
Turning around, she started walking away from him only to hear a grueling and wicked laughter as she disapeared out of his sight. The man wasn’t in his right now, and he was only out to take it out on her.
