Raziah woke up alert and well. She was lying on something soft when she woke up that didn’t feel like what she was used to, and shock coated her face at first when her surrounding looked different from what she was used to. All signs of sleep vanished from her eyes as she jumped into a sitting position and made to access her environment carefully when she noticed two things.
One was that she wasn’t alone. Whoever it was had vanished into thin air as soon as she had sat up. Secondly, her right arm had been bounded tightly to the pins secured to the wall behind her by strong chains, and there was this drunk and numb feeling coming from the arm that was held captive.
Raziah couldn’t believe she had been caught, but paused when she felt something else was amiss. Her wrist that was bound was the same one she had injured and broken most of the bones in the past, since then she’s always had to wear the white sheets to cover them up and help them heal faster. She had been recovering very slowly due to what Fabia had told her, but right now Raziah couldn’t find any piece of sheet around her fingers, and they were looking completely alright.
Her other hand flew to the other injuries around her body, especially the one she gained around the stomach, and she couldn’t feel any pain coming from it again. Seems like the injury was completely healed too. These two realizations had her pondering over how it came. She now recalled visiting the most beautiful forest, and having found out that they came all the way there just to find out what she is. Raziah couldn’t remember much about what happened after she had fainted, so it was either she had been unconscious long enough for her injuries to heal completely-which wasn’t something she wouldn’t just sit down and smile about, or they had healed her injuries which she wouldn’t be thankful for.
"Five days and the nightmare is finally over for you,"
Raziah knew she had heard that voice before and quickly looked to her left only to see a familiar face. The last time she had seen the man with captivating eyes and a deadpan face was when she had slapped him and he was putting on a small cloak, but he had taken it off right now...and he was the second man she’s ever met who had Long hair apart from her husband.
Long Metallic grey hair that looked almost silver.
His clothes were more refined than the last time she had seen him, and didn’t hesitate to glare in his direction. Raziah didn’t say anything, which had him tilting his head a little to the side as the silence kept on dragging between them.
"Isn’t this the part where you ask me questions and try to get out of your chains?" He questioned softly, arching a brow. But she wasn’t making any move to speak or try to free herself while she wasn’t looking.
But then, "Fine, where am I?" Raziah could feel her strong her voice was, and how well she felt overall. It seems like it wasn’t just her injuries that were healed, but now she felt even stronger than normal. There was more power in her words and actions, sending twice the normal glare she would toward him.
Bell almost chuckled, "You blindly followed a woman and her companion without knowing anything?"
Raziah replied, "It’s called following orders, and I’m attracted to things that make me curious," She took a quick glance at the room again, watching out for a door anywhere.
"And where did it bring you?"
"A soft bed with a healthy body." And suddenly, something amusing passed his eyes when her wrist slipped through the chains ever so easily and then she stood up from the bed, "And I’m stronger when I’ve had a good rest," she flexed her arm softly that still had a pale color from the chains and was still numb. She knew it was meant to weaken her but chaining her down was like the simplest thing you could do to her if you wanted to keep her down.
She’s learned how to untie herself from a rope a long time ago, and chains weren’t exempted from it so it didn’t take her too long to maneuver her hands through it and get herself free. Plus, she didn’t know exactly what it was but she’s been feeling more than energetic since she woke up that she needn’t even close her eyes, concentrate and get her hands free.
Something about the feeling felt off though.
"I hope you know that I’m not letting you out of this room." He stated strongly.
"And I’m guessing you already know that I would find my way out," Raziah replied, still flexing her numb hand.
"The room is totally under my control. Forced leave or entry will only drag you somewhere you do not want, somewhere no one wants to be," He still sounded amused especially when he saw how she started to feel the strength of the walls with her fingers, but then again his warning didn’t go unnoticed.
"So for how long am I supposed to sit in one place?" Raziah paused when the words left her lips. Did she really just ask that? Sitting here all day and night shouldn’t be so hard since it was something she was used to doing, as long as there was a bathroom, books to keep her company, and a constant supply of good food. The goosebumps were there of course, but it was something she was getting used to. She could just sit there with no stress, in a room with no doors where no one can disturb her from.
But... She wanted to leave.
She couldn’t stay here forever.
What was wrong with her?!
"You’re in love with someone," Bellerus stated.
Raziah froze in her search, her eyes twitching badly. Was he still talking to her or was there someone else in the room? Refusing to acknowledge his presence anymore, she decided it was better to keep shut and continue from where she stopped till he got tired and left.
"I can feel emotions very much. You’re angry and annoyed and deadly... And in love."
Raziah’s belly churned badly again and she didn’t know when her head snapped in his direction with a devilish cold reeking from her eyes. She wanted to grab a hold of his neck and squeeze the living daylights out of them till he took back those words.
"Are you trying to deny it?" He asked,
"I’m not what you just said. Your intuition or whatever it was, is wrong. Those eyes need to be plucked out if all they see are the wrong things," She Grumbled out lowly, not in control of the words leaving her mouth while facing him. She already felt, since she woke up that the small knife she had inside her dress was no longer there, or else she might have pulled it out and hauled it at him by now.
"Unfortunately, My eyes are never wrong,"
Rolling her eyes, she turned back to the wall and kept her eyes there. She could now feel that it wasn’t the over-healthiness and energy she had woke up, something was badly wrong with her and she couldn’t wait to leave this place so she could get her head in control again. And while she had been trying to keep her cool, the annoying man had brought up a useless topic and stirred her up.
Bellerus could feel the rampant change in the air around them like the whole room was getting even colder. Her head was resting on the wall, but her breathing was getting higher by the second and she was tapping her legs frantically on the ground. He gave her another once over, but he couldn’t point out what was wrong.
He could only feel the cold growing.
"You need to get me out of here. Out of the forest, if possible!" Raziah suddenly grounded out, slamming her fist on the wall as another overwhelming sense of strength racked through her.
"What is happening to you?" Bellerus just took a step toward her when she slammed the same hand on the wall harder than before, and this time the walls shook heavily.
"I cannot control it, you have to take me out before I let loose!!" Raziah’s voice reeked of power, and she suddenly snapped her eyes toward him with a desperate and Frigid look in her big globes, "Now!!" She barked.
With a snap of his fingers, Raziah found herself standing in the middle of the forest outside the witch’s. Bellerus was right beside her, but Raziah’s eyes were fixed on the night sky, where the moon was casting its light down on them.
"It’s the night of the eclipse," Bellerus was saying to her, and that also lit up a bulb in his brain. Now he knew why she was behaving like she couldn’t control herself anymore.
Raziah’s eyes danced with pure horror as she stared at the Red moon above her.
Oh no...
