Chapter 152: The Warmth to my Cold.

"Don’t go, Don’t go..." Raziah kept on chanting in a fervent whisper. Sitting alone in the beautiful garden with his head on her lap, nothing could be more peaceful than that. She kept running her hand around his face, so much emotion in her eyes.

He watched her with love in his eyes, holding on and waiting till she was very sure it was him that was here, and not a dream. He had seen her pinching herself a while ago, and then took his hand and led them to the garden. There wasn’t a moment in time when he took his eyes off her.

Raziah’s heart was so heavy, it had never been this heavy before. She had missed him so much her fingers trembled, she had missed him so much she didn’t care what happened next again. She missed him so much that it hurt to see him again and felt so fulfilled at the same time.

The words ’ Don’t go’ continued to fall off her lips like a silent prayer, till he reached out and cupped her cheeks, the flowers and grass surrounding them. Those eyes of hers bore into his with longing and desire, and he swooned over every glistening emotion in her eyes, "It’s fine, love. I’m here. I’m really, really here." He murmured with a smile.

"Are you sure? Hm?" Raziah leaned into his touch, caressing her face with his strong fingers. His warm fingers made her feel fluttery and whole.

Aragon pulled away and sat up to face her. He didn’t want to keep exerting pressure on her body by adding his weight to it, though it seemed like she didn’t mind at all. Still touching her face, he began to trail his fingers around it just like she did his. With a pleased sigh, she closed her eyes to feel it more.

"Does this feels like a dream?"

She bit her lips, shaking her head.

He ran it down her neck, studying her, "How about this?"

Raziah trembled, and her hands grabbed handfuls of her gown to keep herself in check, "N...no."

Aragon tilted his head to the side, wondering what was going on. Though he still kept on running his fingers around her exposed skin to get more reaction from her, it had him wondering why she was a lot more responsive than she should be. By now, she was breathing so loudly that he could see sweat on her temple.

"Are you ok?" He asked, taking his finger away.

Raziah felt cold with his absence, but opened her eyes and simply nodded her head. He reached out and poked her collarbone lightly, and Raziah’s face burned while she bit her lips. Her gaze was hooded, and something low and dark now hung in her eyes.

He was beginning to get what was wrong with her.

"It’s the pregnancy, Isn’t it? You can feel... everything a little better than before,"

She cocked her head to one side, questions and confusion lightening up her eyes, "What Pregnancy?" She mumbled.

Aragon paused. What was she saying? She looked utterly mesmerized, awaiting an explanation from him and that was when he recalled it had also caught her off guard when he brought it up while she was drunk. Could it be that she simply thought her swelling stomach was just an illness and it never occurred to her that she might actually be pregnant?

"You... don’t know?" He glanced down at her tummy and back to her face.

She still looked genuinely confused and curious, "Oh, this? Fabia said I will be alright and it’s just an illness."

Fabia was at the Amethyst Forest. That was where he and Acacia agreed to send them to keep them safe. It means almost everyone knows about the pregnancy and is trying to keep her from knowing. And it felt like the Deity in Caius was asking to come and see her immediately for something specific.

But...why him? It wouldn’t make any other sense except if he was...the father? And Raziah was definitely not pregnant before she left Erandell, or maybe he was just too into everything happening and didn’t notice.

If that was the case and somehow his seeds had manifested inside of her, how come the baby is already so big like it’s been several months since she was pregnant?

"Aragon?" She called, seeing that he was quiet.

"Specie. You’re what you’re, and she’s what she is. It could be possible that the baby’s growth is caused by its parent’s strong genes. It could come out having both your powers and hers, after all the supernatural is always filled with the unknown too," His beast explained to him, and it all suddenly made sense.

Though one thing kept bugging him. If she had really gotten pregnant for him, then how come he never even had a clue about it all through the remaining weeks she spent with him after bedding her? At the very least, Even if he didn’t notice it then Acacia should have known and reported back to him about it after their first visit to the witch’s Forest.

That was the confusing part.

"Do you maybe think since our fusion hadn’t been complete then, my seeds didn’t manifest in her right away?" Aragon asked, watching her confused face.

"That is a possibility. We don’t know for sure though. It could also have been something from her that made it bloom." It replied.

"Am I really... pregnant?" Raziah broke the silence between them, pressing a palm to her stomach, "But Fabia said nothing was wrong with me, and I don’t have a womb, so..."

She was stupefied. Could it be that Fabia lied to her? But why would she...

Raziah gasped. Of course, she had been lied to, and she could think of a bunch of reasons why they would lie to her. The movements in her stomach, the sudden cravings, the burst of emotions, the morning sicknesses, the high consumption of food...it was all making so much sense. Her thoughts never wandered to the possibility of her being pregnant because she thought it didn’t have a womb.

And her eyes watered.

"Snow-white..." He took her face with both hands, making her stare into his eyes, "You’ll be fine."

"I...have a womb?!" She cracked out, her heart in her throat. The news was too much. The more she processed it, the more emotional she got, "I’m... pregnant?!"

And he hugged her, patting her back, "And you have me. You’re not alone. You’re pregnant with our child, and you have me. You have nothing to worry about, not even yourself or the baby."

She sobbed quietly, "Aragon, I am carrying our child?!"

He nodded, "Yes, Hazel. And you’re beautiful, and it’s beautiful. I’m so lucky and happy,"

And she laughed and cried at the same time, mortified and excited by the shocking news. She wanted to twirl around and scream to the world that she was going to be a mother, at the same time she wanted to curl up in her bed and ask herself what would become of the child.

"You’re... happy?" She sniffed out.

"Happiest man alive. And you should be the happiest woman alive too," He pulled back and placed his forehead against hers, pulling her cheek a little.

Raziah giggled next, "I’m Happy and pregnant and I’m in love with you. It feels unreal,"

His smiling face and eyes froze, and she felt it and looked alarmed. What was wrong? She felt him shudder terribly like he was about to fall and quickly placed an arm on his back and pulled him back to her face, "Olive, what happened?!"

He blinked, almost cleaning his ear, disbelief coloring his eyes, "What...did you just say?"

And it was her turn to go stiff. She suddenly stared at the ground beneath, her gaze still hooded and hazy but almost immediately she looked back at him with determined eyes that held nothing but growing feelings and sincerity, "I, Princess Raziah, have tripped undeniably Into the unknown clutches, the burning larva of this magnificent piece of art called your heart, and I am beginning to fall into this pit hole which is you. The warmth to my cold," Her feathery voice burned down his soul, her eyes staring into his so piercingly with the moon and stars casting their silver lights down to them.
