"Have you ever thought for a second that Hell could Freeze?"
Aragon and Silver looked down at Caius who was walking next to him. Aragon was recalling the night Caius had approached them. The same day they had found out Caius had a deity living inside of him, and it had convinced Aragon to go and see Raziah.
They were both walking back to the castle then, a few minutes before they ran into Zoan returning after he said goodbye to Aletta.
"What are you talking about?" Silver questioned back the deity, wondering where that question had come from.
"Think about it. What if it did? What will you do?"
"Hell was created to burn for the rest of eternity. It was made to punish those that deviated and will continue to burn. I cannot think about it because it’s impossible," Silver replied, slightly amused that such a question even existed.
No matter how much he tried to picture it in his head, he could not imagine hell becoming cold or Frozen.
It’s never happened and will never happen.
"So you don’t think there’s anything out there that could cause hell to freeze?"
"Absolutely not!" Silver exclaimed with power, "Why such a question, though? What brought about this?"
"Oh, I just thought I’d know more about where you came from. " The deity replied calmly, "If you’re the King of Hell, why did you climb up to earth? Why did you leave your... Territory?"
"Curiosity led me out here." Aragon’s mouth was still moving, "Luckily, I found Aragon before my body perished since it wasn’t built for this world,"
"What about the other one that came after you? Was it... Evander they called him?"
"That’s an idiot." Aragon narrowed his eyes softly, "He is after my throne. He believes it’s time for a new King, but what the idiot does not understand is there will remain and always be one King of hell for the rest of eternity,"
"Was he like a demon or something?"
"You can call him that,"
"What was he in charge of?"
Silver almost laughed right there, but the misery he and Aragon were going through of letting go of Raziah wouldn’t let him. All he felt was hopelessness and a lost feeling thinking about that woman.
"I don’t put idiots in charge of anything,"
"So you’re saying...he miraculously became greedy for your position?"
"His intentions were crazy. He could not understand something very simple, and that is Hell isn’t a place to fall in love. He was a demon, but he was no good. He grew feelings for one of the wrongdoers sent to hell and pleaded with me to spare her. He pleaded for many years, but I wasn’t going to listen to him. And I didn’t. He became enraged, and turned into what he is today,"
"I see," Caius nodded.
As Aragon and Silver took a long stare at the rock-solid ice covering every inch of Hell, their head almost went back. Had Caius seen this coming and had tried to warn him about this that day? Was that why he kept repeating it?! The sight was just phenomenal and unbelievable.
The three Generals had been Frozen in midair, with their spears above their head as they were about to strike Raziah. In a billion years, no one would have seen this coming.
When Harlow had warned Aragon that the power of the core was great and devastating that night, she sure as hell wasn’t kidding. And it would only grow stronger and stronger in Raziah’s body.
Everything around now resembled an ice statue. The Magma flowing was not strong enough to overcome the cold and melt it. Every demon working for hell and Aragon was now useless, and could not move even if they were strong.
In a single breath, Raziah threw out her leg in a spinning kick and broke the three ice statutes of the general, turning them into pieces of large and small chunks of ice. With that, they would not be able to move which solves her problem with them.
Creating such a masterpiece in hell by freezing everything had exhausted her a lot, so much that she could barely stand and kept breathing in Vapors of cold ice to keep her head together.
In front of her, she could see Aragon standing there with the surprise written all over his face. The ice had frozen his legs to the ground and had even ridden up a bit to his calves, keeping him unable to move from where he stood.
Unlike the other ice she could create that was melted with magma, this one was of a different level and it would quench the Magma instead without melting down. And considering how large scale the ice attack on the whole place had been, that must be why her vision was becoming a little blurry and she was struggling to catch her breath.
Raziah steeled her mind, stealing this opportunity that she had given herself. She ran toward Aragon, whom was still trapped in his gaze.
Her fist came directly on his face, and it was so hard his legs broke out of the strong ice and his whole body was sent crashing back into what was once a volcano.
Raziah had thought that punch would be enough to make his head explode on impact, but there was still work to do because the man was still breathing loudly.
Aragon’s face had been hurt badly. She had knocked every bone out of its position and had burst many organs. His face was covered in blood, and it was cold from her ferocious touch. If she had her sword with him, she would have finished him already, but his body was even more durable and tougher than the three Generals combined.
"You...," She stared at him with so much despise, standing there with wound battles and blood dripping from her body. Her hair was glowing again, and so was her wristband which was still wrapped around her eye, "You took everything away from me," She breathed in the cold, fisting her hands, "And I’ll about to pay you back, ten times the fold. You will know MY pain!"
