Her time was running out. She knew that more than anyone.
She was to turn twenty-five very soon.
She had backed away from him, putting a long distance between them, and watched the transformation unfold before her.
Aragon grew taller than he already was, and hair grew out of every part of his skin. His growth was unbelievable, becoming almost twice his normal size. The claws of his hands and legs claws grew even longer, the tip curved and extremely sharp, and so did his canines.
Standing in front of her with a deafening strong air that reeked of not just royalty and domination, he seemed to have filled his room with the dark presence of something so grave.
His eyes which had been flickering between black and red found a balance, and now his retina was black, and his iris glowed like the Magma that was Rolling down from his claws. The ice he stood in sizzled under his feet, and the creature that stood there on both feet looked nothing like she could have ever imagined.
But the transformation wasn’t done yet.
Wings sprouted out of his back, the feathers looking like blades and shining. They were big enough to drag behind his back if he were to settle them down and walk, and they resembled dark devilish wings.
Evander had let her in on this. He had told her about Silver, and what he truly was. When Evander had told her the story, it was hard to believe that something like that could exist.
A creature that could bring others down to their knees. One that was brutal, and a hunter.
The Fiercest Predator that feared nothing.
A Wolf.
Not just any kind of wolf, a Werewolf.
A werewolf that has the blood of a Phoenix running through its veins, giving it the ability to manipulate fire. Silver had acquired the power of a Phoenix when he had killed the only Phoenix to ever exist and now possesses every possible power that a Phoenix has.
The only creature that can go toe to toe with a Dragon.
But Dragons do not exist. 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖
Raziah took several steps back, readying herself for its attack. Blasting it with her powers was her first offense to see if she could take it down, but Magma pulsed out of it and melted off her powers.
The way it stared at her. The slow movements with such powerful and feral, especially when it went down and started walking on both hands and legs.
Raziah doubted if she stood a chance at winning this fight.
"Hello, Mate," Aragon’s new voice had goosebumps climbing her skin, "I believe this is the first time we are meeting," He continued. Aragon was not the only one speaking. He and Silver’s were now totally in sync.
Raziah could not believe the werewolf’s lips were actually moving and he was making out words!
"I would have loved to say this does not concern you, but you’re one with that monster now. And two monsters don’t make an angel,"
The Sheer power of his chuckle made her stiffen, and she felt a rush of hot air hit her face. She didn’t realize how much she might have underestimated what he could do, because if not she would have put a longer distance between them.
Her senses were at their sharpest, yet she did not know how the hell he was suddenly standing in front of her, and whispered, "Oh...What if...,"
There was a swift intake of breath, and she knew she moved to kick him away from her but something slammed into her body and she found herself spiraling across the place. She knocked into several mountains of volcanoes that had been frozen, and the mountains shattered into pieces of Ice.
By the time she stopped and laid there on the floor, bleeding from the claw cut on her stomach and ones that had shattered other parts of her from the explosive rounds she had just gone through, she could barely move.
She was still pulsing and raging with anger, and her bloody teeth gritted together as she tried to move a finger. She couldn’t even feel any part of her anymore. It felt like her body had been strangled, decimated, and left there on the floor to bleed.
With every step, the ground quaked. Raziah could feel him approaching her, and every part of her yelled to stand up, but nothing was moving. The only thing she could move was her pinky, and that was probably because it could be the only bone that hadn’t snapped in her body.
How was she even alive after all that?
She heard him stop in front of her and could make out his hairy strong legs.
She was desperate and was so disappointed in herself. This man was too strong for her and had once again reminded her how weak she was. This right here reminded her of how her mother had laid there on the floor, terribly hurt and weakened while trying to crawl away from the devil.
Was she going to end up like her mother?
No...she wanted revenge. She would never give up until she had fulfilled the promise she made to herself years ago.
Those creatures cannot keep going on with their lives when her people were dead.
Forcefully, she began moving her shuddering limbs. Her body had given up, but her soul hadn’t. As soon as her heart was still beating, she would never give up. As long as the image of her smiling mother, and her dying mother remained rooted into her head, she would get up.
Raziah fisted her hand and used it to push herself to her feet. She swayed as she stood on her broken leg, trying to ignore the pain that made her want to drop to the floor again.
Standing right in front of her, was a face that reminded her of the man she hated, and a wolf.
"If you want to stop me...," She cracked out, then threw a hand out and hit his chest with it, "You’ll have to kill me. The longer you keep me alive, the more I want to rip you apart!!"
