Blood spilled out, trickling down her arm. Her armor suit had been cut through, and now her arm resembled a sea of blood, which happened to be the same arm she had been hurt in. Fabia had taken care of the dirty bandage and applied a new one over the hand. The worry had been evident in the doctor’s eyes when she found out Raziah was also going for battle and had tried to talk her out of it but of course, the Princess didn’t listen.
For a second there, the Superhuman woman’s red eyes gleamed with triumph as her eyes zoned in on the blood running down, slowly licking her lips as the inviting sight was pulling her in, but when she lifted her sight back to the Princess’s eyes, she finally saw the unending cold void that filled them, not even a wince or hiss coming from the pain of the injured arm - that is if the Princess could actually feel any pain at the moment. The only thing Raziah could focus on was getting past the woman, and rescuing his Majesty.
Vera glanced back at Aragon’s apathetic face. He was sitting so stiff on the Sand throne that he almost looked like a statue, he didn’t even look like he was breathing, and Vera didn’t know exactly why she turned to him - but she suddenly felt the need to do so. Something had been bugging her about Aragon, and she would have sworn she felt him stir the second she cut the woman covered in armor.
But she instantly concluded that she was wrong, and she was even more wrong to have taken her eyes off the strange human who was still managing to keep up with her movements because Raziah had already thrown her sword right between their eyes. It whirled around above them, and knowing the strange human was up to something, Vera was already ready to attack with her hand again, and that was when she couldn’t even catch up with Raziah’s movements anymore. Everything happened in a flash, and all she could feel was the striking pain of Raziah’s knee right under her chin, both hands supported on Vera’s shoulders so the full force of the kick could be very effective. Blood was spat out of Vera’s mouth with a loud gasp, right before Raziah pushed herself higher, kicking the woman’s chest to launch herself higher, catching her sword in mid-air before she rolled over and landed solidly on her feet.
Vera couldn’t breathe at all, the pain overtook her throat, and her face was constricted in deep pain, but even so, she still managed to get some words out, "H...how..." She croaked, hissing as pain lurched through her neck again.
But Raziah was already sprinting for her husband’s side as fast as her legs could carry her. She could feel the slight vibrations from under her foot again and barely stopped her momentum before a hand could come crashing into her. The growl that escaped the man’s lips was a familiar voice that spoke to her a minute ago, the same man she had first knocked out, so how the hell did he get up so fast?
He was bigger than the other man, like a full-fledged muscle man with incredible agility and speed, and he wasn’t exempted from the scary-looking red-eyed, claw-handed monster she had faced in form of a woman just seconds ago. His fist came down on her, and she knew they was hardly anytime to evade this one. If she dared parred with her sword, then his strength would be enough to blow the blade into bits, so she had no other choice than to receive his blow with one of her own - and no matter how stupid that sounded or even looked, that was the fastest thing she could think of.
Both fists came down at each other and the sound of snapping bones crackled in the tense and warm air, just as Raziah was blown back. Her broken fingers burned in pain, but she didn’t let it get to her. Just as she raised her head once again, she heard a newly added footstep and vibration to the earth beneath her as someone came running into the room, slamming the man back just before he could attack her again.
"And you were supposed to come and get me first!" Tati’s angered tone raged, fuming. She was covered in blood from head to toe, but none of the blood belonged to her. She had a leaf green spear on her left arm and a bloody look in her eyes.
"You were annoying, so I got a partner," Acacia replied, right before she drove a stake deep down through the man’s chest, finishing him off completely.
"I can’t even begin to imagine what’s going on in that twisted head of yours, I’m just more surprised she’s still alive!" Tati replied, then pointed her spear at her opponent, her eyes cold and hard, "You guys surely underestimated us." Then, she gave him an unappealing once over, "You must be one of the underdogs, care to tell me where Hebrew is? I’ll do the honors and decapitate him myself. That’s what I came here for after all."
Seeing that he was outnumbered, the man’s gaze seem to gauge everyone, trying to find a way out of this.
"We are still gonna find Hebrew anyway. If you won’t decapitate him, I will." Acacia piped in.
"Don’t start here!" Tati growled at her.
"Look at you, I’m sure you’ve drank and killed so much that it’s evident all over your..." Acacia stated as she gestured all over Tati’s bloody body, a gross look overlooking her eyes, "Did you have to get it everywhere? Why can’t you ever kill someone the Normal way? Do you have to get his blood all over you all the time? You could turn out to be even more mental..."
"Would you shut up? I’m trying to interrogate someone here."
"You do the interrogation, I’ll decapitate him," Acacia grinned.
"I’ll do both! Stay out of this!"
"You know I won’t, tati!"
Tati’s eyes twitched as she pointed the spear in the sorceress’s direction, "Shall I just decapitate you instead?" 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
Acacia’s eyes seem to light up as soon as she heard that, "I would like to make a big hole through your chest, what do you say?"
Electricity sparkled between their Eyes, and the both of them maintained steep eye contact for a few seconds, sheer intentions of actually ending the other overflowing from the look in their deadly eyes.
As if on cue, both women immediately switched positions and Vera who had been sneaking up on them was instantly turned into a headless person by the enchantress, while Acacia cast a spell upon the man, extracted the information she needed, and plunged her hand deep into his chest, ripping out his heart with bloody fists.
Meanwhile, Raziah was already running towards her husband as she didn’t have the luxury nor mind to listen to the two women rant to Each other. She had twisted her ankle when landing, after the collision of her fist with the other man, and it was taking her a long time to get to where her husband sat down comfortably.
His burning and enigmatic dark eyes remained staring into hers, and the closer she got to him, the harder she found it to keep moving because his aura was still as deadly as the last time she was with him - if not more.
Raziah never took her eyes off him, forcing herself to keep moving till she was right in front of him. She could feel her heart slamming against her ribcage, threatening to explode inside the confinement of her chest, and the closer she got, the more she felt her body betraying her. But she was sure her mind and soul wouldn’t, and those parts of her were the strongest of them all.
Stopping right in front of him, she pulled up her visor so he could see her eyes completely and not through the thin-lined visuals of the helm. She reached out to him with her open palm, her chest heaving up and down.
The only thing that had kept her going all this while was her mother’s words to her. Everything else didn’t matter except trying to obey the woman she admired the most in the whole world, and that had been the only reason she had come here to get back her husband, or else she wouldn’t have spared him an ounce of care. She had only but one driven goal in the world, and a huge part of her didn’t care what she would have to lose to get it. It had been bothering her because she wanted to at least make up with him before anything bad happens then she found out he got taken away, which had her panicking because if something happened before she reconciled with him, then she would be going against her mother’s wishes.
All the effort she’s put in so far was just to see that those wishes kept coming true because she’s disappointed her mother too much already. And Raziah knew she wouldn’t be able to bear knowing that she had gone against her mother again. So as she extended her arm toward her husband, she saw him as nothing but someone she needed to get past too, something she needed to overcome as soon as possible, and someone she had to keep paying her respect to because of the title he held in her life, though the look in his emotionless eyes was becoming more of a problem every ticking second.
"My husband, Take my hand." Her lips whispered out in a piercing pitch.
