Raziah was currently inside the bathroom of her chambers, washing her face. The water was rushing out, and she just kept throwing it from her good hand to her face, over and over again. It was an attempt to calm herself down from all that had happened again tonight. Originally, she only thought her fighting gets better whenever she closes her eyes and sense movement instead, she had no idea she could pinpoint that pillar using that sense too. She had Frozen back there from there even though she had quickly snapped out of it when she saw Malcolm and Felix approaching her.
She’s always reminded herself that she was human. Whatever was happening to her, even though she had a rough idea what it is and it kept getting clearer and clearer every day, she didn’t want it. It needed to go. Staying human for the best for her. She would really despise anything none other than that.
Raising her head, she stared at her reflection in the mirror. The men that had gone to bring Caius back were yet to be back, and she dearly hoped at least they would get an insight on who was the mastermind behind it, and most importantly, Caius would be fine. But that scream and wince she heard from him only meant that they were already hurting him.
The image of the last vampire she had taken down flashed across her mind. The blood running down through the openings in his face, the pained shock that had clouded his eyes...
Raziah’s body shuddered, and she was back to spraying water on her face till she couldn’t remember how long she was in the bathroom. She pulled out a clean face towel and dabbed it to wipe off the sipping water running down. With a deep breath, she grabbed the doorknob and let herself into the bedroom.
At the same time, someone was walking in from outside.
"It’s two hours to midnight," Were his first words as he stared into her cold eyes.
Raziah nodded calmly, "I have to at least wait until Caius..."
"I already made it clear, hazel." Aragon said flatly as he turned the door, and locked it with a sharp click, "You’re mine from now on...,"
"What about Princess Gwenore?" He couldn’t have ditched her there right? Isn’t today supposed to be their wedding night?
"Just you, and I," He purred this time, but Raziah was already walking over to the door. She wouldn’t be at ease until she sees Caius again, and he would have to at least understand that. She wished he would consider what she was going through at least, but his damn head was only filled with what he wanted.
"Did your mother teach you to walk out on your husband?" His voice rang into her ears just as she unlocked it and was about to take her first step out. Raziah’s eyes trembled under his words, and her left eye was twitching as her hands on the knob grew very hard and firm.
"No, your Majesty," She replied softly, gently closing back the door and clicking it Into place again.
"Now my Good Hazel, Take off every last thing on me." He instructed, and she could already feel her blood running hot under his watchful gaze. Her anger was still recoiling after she heard her mother from his lips again, and it took an unhealthy amount of self-control to hold herself back and just keep up the act.
She started with the animal fur he was wearing around his back, untying and dropping it beside them. Then, she proceeded to his animal-skin cloth, taking off the shirt. His ripped and masculine body had her moving her gaze back to his eyes immediately, but the somersault that made her belly feel fuzzy from the tiny smirk that curved his lips had her staring into space instead as she took off the shirt completely.
His pants had her crouching, and she did it all with her eyes closed making sure that she made no skin contact with his during the entire time. He stepped out of the pants, and whatever it was he was wearing inside, and she folded it nicely together with the others.
When she was done folding, her legs were too anxious to turn back and face him. She still had her palm on his clothes, and her wounded fingers didn’t hurt since she didn’t use them much. Every part of her was so alerted by his presence that she could feel the vibrations down to the very tip of her toes. She already knew this was different from the other times he had asked her to take off his clothes. She has always been nervous, but never like this.
This time was too intense, and her knees had already gone weak.
God...she felt like a shivering mess, and it only tripled when she felt him standing right behind her.
Dear lord, she wanted to run. They can’t...! 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞
"It’s one of the reasons I asked you to get married to princess Gwenore!" Raziah abruptly whipped around and faced him, keeping her eyes only on his face and nothing more. If only there was another part of her she could stare at instead that wouldn’t make her look like a dork, but his eyes were the only option right now.
And Those eyes were speaking louder than words ever would.
He looked very, very starved. Incredibly hungry. Like nothing she’s ever seen before, and she was his treat for the night.
It’s like he didn’t even hear what she just said at all, and Raziah didn’t understand what followed next. There was a tiny rush of air against her skin, then everywhere spiked up with the growing temperature of the room. It was at that moment that she glanced down at herself, and realized her dress was gone. She was only in her underwear.
Panic kicked in like a strong wave.
"I can’t..." She swallowed when his chest pressed up against hers, and she wobbled slightly on her feet, "I can’t have children, Olive." Raziah whispered in a muffled, strangled voice.
