Chapter 96: The Second time.

For a long time, Raziah didn’t move. No one could tell whether she was even breathing, and she looked paler than ever. Her mind which was always working with thoughts of different kinds had gone null from something she couldn’t even describe, burning inside her chest and engulfing her whole body. There was utter silence like never before, and Raziah finally blinked after a while. Aragon Odysseus, Unknown, Unknown Unknown. What sort of ridiculous thing was that? She couldn’t even tell herself that maybe it was one of his ancestors because the statue looked exactly like him, and it was just so hard to convince herself that he wasn’t the one. That was when she took in a sharp deep breath, and her heart trembled hard and vigorously inside her chest. Why the hell does everything keep leading from one thing to another?! It was already very dark around her, and she should be returning to the palace by now. Instead, her legs took her in the opposite direction of where she should go and she continued her tour around the catacombs of statues. Her mind was a mess, and she couldn’t only hope for her mind to relax soon. She couldn’t even hope anymore. Whether or not she was now shivering heavily like a wet dog, she would have to continue looking around. This was like a learning process for her, and she was aimed to grasp as much knowledge as she could even though they made no sense. As she stared around, she wondered why the wind had called that particular name and brought her here. She couldn’t find anything related to that person. She kept on reading and staring around till the very end of them. Raziah’s mind was steeled to know as much as she can, and it took a while before she was done and decided to quickly leave. Someone would have been sent to look for her by now, so she couldn’t waste any more time here. That didn’t mean her legs wouldn’t stop on their own Accord and look up at the magnificent statue that resembled her husband. She felt torn deeply, and she didn’t even know where to start anymore. The whole thing was extremely confusing and scary at the same time, and her mind had jumped into a frenzy once again. She didn’t reach out for it before, but her hands were already trying to feel the stone Statue before she could think twice. It was hard of course, and another chill raked Through her spine. The wind blew again this time, and of course, it only brought more anxiety running through her system. Raziah suddenly peered around when the goosebumps on her skin grew a little, and her eyes sighted a hand-sized stone sitting to her right which she could use as a defense or offense tool against whatever it was that had suddenly shown up. That distraction had her fingers slipping further down the tomb, till they touched Aragon’s name that was written on it. She felt the writings she had touched, and at the same time that devastatingly painful electrifying shock slammed right through her body, and Raziah’s body went as stiff as hell. Another one was happening. Her powers were awakening one by one, and this has to be one of them. Visions. Certain things trigger that unbelievable pain, and she begins to see things right in front of her. There was no denying it when it’s happening for the second time! It looked like a Field of snow. Not the gloomy Misty one that was usually in her dreams, this one was filled with an excited air. She could tell because the sun was out, and the laughter of children echoed all around her. But what truly had her staring was that she saw a little girl with Dark long hair, and that was her when she was about six years old. She was standing around town somewhere that looked somehow familiar, and there was an older guy that had hugged her. He looked at least Twenty years old and was patting her softly on the back as if he was gonna miss her dearly. Raziah couldn’t make out his face because he wasn’t facing her direction, but his clothes spoke nothing short of nobility, and the whole scene looked as if he was about to leave and she didn’t want him to go. "This is taking too long!" A familiar voice had Raziah’s eyes widening as she quickly turned her head toward its direction. It sounded much more younger, but she would recognize her husband’s voice anywhere. And there stood Aragon, and he was putting on a cloak over his face which looked so much younger like he was only a teenager. His nose was scrunched up in annoyance, and he had a scowl written on his face. But...his eyes weren’t dark in color. They were the purest form of blue, and he looked so innocent as he stood there staring back at them. Blue...eyes? He had blue eyes when he was younger?! "I’ll be there in a second!" The older one hugging her replied, before pulling back from her, but Young Raziah was protesting against him, and even grabbed his clothes to keep her there. He then started whispering a few things into her ear, but even his new angle wouldn’t let her see his face, and moving was proving too difficult for her. After a short while, she heard her young self sigh and finally move back from the hug. The revelation of the older boy’s face had her holding her breath when she saw how much he looked like the present Aragon, and the only difference was the color of his eyes since he was also putting on a cloak, and covering his hair. His eyes were training between dark and white...An ash iris. 1 "Don’t worry My beautiful Lady, I’ll certainly be back for you. And when you get older...I’ll make you mine." He smiled kind-hearted and lovingly at her, and that smile alone was enough to make Raziah’s heart ache feverishly and painfully. "You promise?" Young Raziah grinned back at him, swinging her hands. She looked her happiest, her hazel eyes twinkling radiantly while the wind danced around with her black locks of hair. "Always and forever." He placed a small kiss on her knuckles before pulling back up to stand upright. He was almost as tall as the present Aragon, but he looked nothing but sincere and honest. There wasn’t an atom of hesitation in his eyes when he said those words, and anyone could tell he was very serious about making her his once she got older. He stroked her hair very lightly, and she smiled up at him. When he finally turned and left with Aragon, Raziah watched as her little self just stood there staring ahead for a while. There was no movement from her, till she also turned around and walked back. Raziah’s legs still wouldn’t move, but at least she was able to whip her head around and survey her surroundings. The Smell of happiness in the air, the laughing drunkards from not too far away, the silent chuckles of a few women. The constant rumbles of laughter and cheering from nearby homes, that peace and tranquility that filled the air as so many humans went about living her life with Raziah, standing in the middle of everything had her fists clenching from the unbearable pain, the shattering feeling that it no longer existed and the torment that she would never see it again. Her heart clenched till she could no longer breathe, and Raziah fell to her knees with her hands clutching her chest hard, her heart distorted badly from the overwhelming pain that crashed all over it. She had to dearly hold back from bursting into the wild torrent of tears because of all this, and her eyes were tightly closed, fighting to keep the pain from invading her again and again till she could no longer take it. Fluttering her red pained eyes open, she saw herself sitting right next to the tombstone. Looks like she was out of the vision, and reality was once again hard to bare. This tombstone didn’t end up answering any of her questions...it only made things worse and rose more dire questions that were now banging at her chest, begging and demanding answers. She pulled herself into a standing position because she couldn’t bare anyone seeing her in that state of wretchedness. Staying strong was the first focus on her agenda when that feeling that someone was close wasn’t gone. She had already picked up that stone she had seen before, and her eyes immediately changed to that apathetic and cold piercing globes. She stood there, looking as strong as ever. Whatever it was hiding somewhere around her would have to speak up sooner or later or else she was gonna point out its location herself and stone it hard on the head. Whoever...it was. "What did you see...?" A voice spoke out, and Raziah’s held the stone even tighter against her palm, "What did your vision show you, Raziah?!" ############## #################
