Chapter 76: Extraordinary.

The dark candles around the altar had somehow surrounded Caius who was still screaming his lungs out, while the red candles were now finding their way moving through the floor closer and closer to the witch who had her hands spread out and was casting the spell on the kid. There was an imaginable amount of pain racking through his body, and his eyes were bloodshot red. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶

His injuries seemed to have also been triggered by the spell she was casting, and so much blood was running down from the injuries that had been Inflicted on him. Then, drops of the blood pooling out began floating higher, following the light coming from the moon. Caius was in a lot of pain, and his body was quaking vigorously. But the witch didn’t stop what she was doing.

"Young Vampire, you say?" The special witch asked, cleaning off the small streak of blood that has ran down his lips. Zoan turned back to him, but his eyes kept moving back to glance at Caius, "That’s not quite right. Now let me ask you...how come you’re not dead?!"

"Doesn’t matter how old you’re though..." Zoan replied calmly, his hands resting inside his pocket as he watched the vampire’s body begin to dissolve into its true form. Special Vampires possess unique abilities, a rare mutation in a vampire’s gene which leads to something called a strange blessing that enables that chosen to be able to transform into something accustomed to nature...and this one could turn into wind itself.

"Do you know what happens when wind and smoke clash?" Zoan cracked his neck, even though he still looked so laid back as a heavy rush of wind came blasting toward him. With a small whiff of air from his mouth, a peal of smoke that he could manipulate stormed out of his mouth powerfully, and mixed with the wind that was just about to hit him.

Then, a smaller one sipped out of the tip of his fingers and floated toward the witch that was still heartlessly trying to end the boy. The smoke wrapped around her neck and began choking the hell out of her, and some of it found its way Into her body through the nose...and began throwing her insides apart.

The violent confrontation of both wind and smoke almost jarred the whole environment around them, and it felt like two hurricanes were trying to out blast the other out of the way, "The wind gets clogged up, and suffocated. Especially if the smoke happens to be thick..." Zoan elucidated with a small yawn, then he extended his left arm forward...and clenched his fist.

All of a sudden the built-up and expanding clash in the air suddenly moved according to Zoan’s will, and the smoke pulled itself and the wind Into a big round swirling white ball in the middle. It sort of looked like an orb at first, but then you could actually hear cries and croaked-up shrills of pain coming from inside the ball, "and if the wind never stood a chance against the smoke in the first place." Zoan finished, taking his precious time to make sure that he couldn’t hear any sound of torment or torture coming from the ball again, then he released his fists.

The ball of smoke suddenly burst into nothing, easily diffusing into the surrounding air this time while the vampire that had been trapped inside fell to the ground. His pale skin had turned tintless with all the color gone, and he could barely breathe.

"Why should I be dead?" Zoan flung his legs toward the vampire who was squirming. He had truly been suffocated.

Meanwhile, The witch was being strangled to death by the smoke around her neck but Caius hadn’t stopped screaming. It looked like the process had begun, then it can’t be stopped just by Killing the witch involved which had Zoan quickly bursting over to Caius with that speed of his. He was just about to set him free and carry the boy away from the moon’s light...when he witnessed something extraordinary.

Caius abruptly stopped screaming, and it was like the whole cave grew quiet with him. Zoan whom was now close to Caius couldn’t bear anything around them anymore. Not the battle going on between Malcolm and Ren, and neither that of Felix against the vampire and witch. It was as if...the god of silence had walked past, and everything that happened didn’t last more than two seconds.

The air around the boy had suddenly changed, and his eyes were unblinking. Zoan couldn’t see what was in them because they had been covered with blood, and the Aura around Caius picked up faster than anything. His focus was on the moon, and then the dark candles surrounding him sparkled with a bright jade glow, while the red ones that had been surrounding the witch went off on their own, the smoke coming from it dissolving into the air. Caius had stopped trembling like a wet cat, and his body was extremely stiff.

Then, all the blood that had been stolen from him, the ones that were floated toward the moon came back rushing back into his injuries, along with so much more that had already been wasted on his face. Not everything was taken back though because a bit of blood remained on his face.

Zoan was completely stunned at what he was witnessing. He couldn’t even begin to comprehend the hell he was witnessing, and how much Caius’s presence had taken over the whole room. It was spellbinding, somewhat terrifying, and direly exhilarating.

It was when a sudden dark spear flew past his eyes that Zoan realized that he had been so fascinated that he might have let his guard down, and his reaction time was a little too late because of how fast the spear was moving straight toward Caius.

And right before his eyes again, a blurry sight of Golden streaks of hair flew past him, followed by red familiar ones.
