☆, Chapter 67 Big Goose

☆, Chapter 67 Big Goose

Hearing no answer from the room, Liang Chi opened the door and looked inside. Three girls were squatting on stools, each holding a peach in their hands, with a look of despair on their faces.

He glanced outside the door and then said to them, "The mouse has been found and killed."

"Really?" Jiang Zhi asked.

Lin Yunchu jumped off the stool, moved carefully to the door, and looked through the crack. The moment she saw the dead mouse, she was so scared that she retracted her head.

"It's true." She said to Jiang Zhi.

Lin Yunchu blinked and said, "There won't be any more tonight, right?"

Jiang Qiyu opened the door and walked in, showing her the clip in his hand.

"Don't worry, we've got rat poison and mousetraps ready. I guarantee you'll sleep peacefully!"

Grandpa stared at Liang Chi the whole time. Seeing that he was spreading the medicine seriously, he walked over.

"Young man."

Liang Chi stopped and asked, "Grandpa, is it wrong for me to spread it?"

Grandpa pointed at the stool and motioned him to sit down.

"My dear, our family is small and we have few people. Although Zhizhi is not our biological child, all our love is on her.

You are a good child, and it is us Zhizhi who are unlucky."

Liang Chi understood the meaning of the old man's words. He glanced in the direction of the house, lowered his head and smiled.

"Grandpa, then I will share all my blessings with her."

Several people came out of the house, and Jiang Zhi waved to Liang Chi.

"Go out and play!"

Grandpa's home is very close to the mountain and the reservoir. Jiang Zhi led the group through a small path and saw the water.

Before Jiang Qiyu could say anything, his hand was released.

Then I saw that the person who was supposed to be holding my hand had already run to the water to play.

Liang Chi: "I've never seen them run so fast!"

Jiang Qiyu raised his foot to catch up with him. He said, "If I don't catch up with him, he will get even further away."

"Zhizhi, are there any shrimps in the water?" Yu Xi asked.

Jiang Zhi bent down and picked up something from the water to show the two people. She said, "I haven't seen shrimp before, but there are clams, lots of them!"

Lin Yunchu looked around and saw a large river clam lying in the water. Just as she was about to pick it up, someone grabbed her by the collar.

Jiang Qiyu walked over, bent down, picked up the clam, and placed it in her hand, "Don't go to deep water."

"I'm not a child, I won't fall in." Lin Yunchu said.

"Yeah, but I'm still afraid you'll fall in."

Lin Yunchu took the clam and looked at it, then looked up and asked Jiang Qiyu: "Is this edible?"

Jiang Qiyu: ...

"Didn't you just eat?"

Lin Yunchu rolled his eyes at him and said, "I'm just asking. Zhizhi said we can feed geese, but grandpa doesn't have any geese at home."

Jiang Qiyu reached out and touched her head, whispering, "There's a goose in Grandpa's backyard. Be obedient and don't compete with the big goose for food."

Lin Yunchu: "So there really are geese?"

"Well, it's been ten years since Big Goose."

Lin Yunchu nodded and said, "Oh, then give it all to the goose."

Yu Xi was having a lot of fun picking up river clams, while Fu Chen was standing by with the plastic bucket they brought.

Glancing in Lin Yunchu's direction, he said, "Jiang Zhi and Liang Chi slipped away."

Yu Xi: "Is the couple I'm supporting going to be a success?"

Fu Chen sighed helplessly.

"I don't know if it will work or not. I just know that if you keep picking up more, the bucket won't be able to hold any more."

Jiang Zhi followed Liang Chi in confusion and walked to the familiar big tree.

Her eyes widened in shock. "How do you know about this big tree?"

Liang Chi: "Grandpa told me that he planted this locust tree on the day your uncle and aunt brought you back."

"Then why did you bring me here?" Jiang Zhi asked.

"Jiang Zhi."

His expression was serious, Jiang Zhi's heart was beating fast, and the idea that he had guessed many times in his mind popped up again.

Liang Chi took out a red lucky bag from his pocket.

He pulled Jiang Zhi's hand and forcefully put it into her palm.

"I got this amulet from the temple."

Jiang Zhi shook her head and wanted to return the amulet to him, but he held her hand tightly.

Liang Chi felt sweat on the back of his neck. He lowered his head and looked into Jiang Zhi's eyes and spoke.

"Jiang Zhi, I like you. I will give you all my blessings. Will you be my girlfriend?"

The moment he held her hand tightly, tears fell from the corners of Jiang Zhi's eyes.

She shook her head and replied with a smile: "You saw it last time in the hospital."

"I'm not afraid."

Liang Chi raised his hand to wipe her tears, then held her in his arms.

"Zhizhi, I'm not afraid, I only like you."

Jiang Zhi buried her head in his arms and nodded.

"good."

This was something she had been looking forward to for a long time, but now, fear outweighed joy.

When the two of them walked back hand in hand, Yu Xi was so excited that she almost jumped up.

"Ahhh! Fu Chen! They're together!"

Fu Chen responded with a dark face.

This Gou Liangchi actually took action so quickly!

He glanced at Yu Xi, who was standing next to him with an excited look on her face, and pinched his brows.

Why are you so happy eating other people’s melons?

He hinted at it so many times, but she didn't react at all.

Lin Yunchu took Jiang Qiyu's arm and pinched the flesh on his arm.

"Ayu, Zhizhi's dream finally came true!"

Jiang Qiyu: "Well, Jiang Zhi is not the only one whose dream came true."

After returning to the courtyard, Jiang Qiyu took a knife and cut open the river clams. The big goose came over leisurely, waiting from a distance for the clam meat in his hand.

Lin Yunchu ran over, but before she touched Jiang Qiyu's shoulder, the big goose ran towards her.

Lin Yunchu backed away with his body tensed, muttering to himself, "Goose, big goose, I'm not trying to steal your food. Really, I just came to take a look."

Jiang Zhi laughed from ear to ear in the back, "Chujiu, it doesn't bite, it just looks fierce."

Lin Yunchu retreated step by step, then ran into the house.

Jiang Qiyu threw the clam meat into the goose's food box and waved the knife in his hand at it.

"You scared my little friend!"

"Gah!"

The big goose cried out, twisted its body, lowered its head and started eating frantically from the food box.

Jiang Qiyu said as he opened the clams, "If you scare her again next time, I'll stew you!"

Perhaps the big goose really understood what Jiang Qiyu said, and every time it saw Lin Yunchu, it would quietly take a detour.

At night, the three boys lived in a room with their grandfather.

The lights in the old house were not that bright. Grandpa took a palm-leaf fan and glanced at the house next door.

"I'm going fishing tomorrow morning, so don't disturb my sleep.

"You all should behave yourself tonight! Don't think that because I'm old, I don't know what's going on in your heads!"

Jiang Qiyu: "Grandpa, we are not that brave."

"Humph! I think you're the bravest one!"

Fu Chen laughed twice, but was suppressed by Jiang Qiyu's fist.

Jiang Qiyu: "You're still laughing. It's been so long, why haven't you confessed to Yu Xi yet?"
