Chapter 351 Keep Aunt Zhu

Yang Lu and Gao Baoliang thought about many names for their child, but ultimately couldn't decide.

Originally, the baby's gender was uncertain, but now that the baby has been born, it's time to give it a name.

"Lulu, you should make the decision. I'll listen to you." Gao Baoliang passed the buck to his wife.

Looking at her baby sucking his thumb, Yang Lu didn't hope he would amount to anything in the future; she just hoped he would be polite. So she named him Gao Bin.

"Binbin, that's a good name." Jiang Ning leaned down and kissed Gao Bin on the forehead.

It was already past midnight, and everyone was exhausted.

Tonight, let Gao Baoliang take care of them for the night. They can go back first and take turns taking care of them tomorrow night.

As everyone left, they waved to Gao Bin.

The little one had just woken up, his eyes, still covered in sleep, were half-open as he looked around, seemingly searching for milk.

Gao Baoliang didn't have time to see them off, so he quickly took the baby to Yang Lu's side and started breastfeeding him.

Gao Baoliang barely slept that night.

It's either feeding the baby or changing diapers after they poop or pee.

Used diapers should be washed immediately, otherwise there won't be enough to change.

It's cold, so the diapers dry slowly. Wang Xiufen prepared more than twenty diapers, but she still felt a bit short of supplies.

After working until the early hours of the morning, Gao Baoliang was finally able to rest for a while.

He lay down on the sofa chair and fell asleep instantly.

He had only slept for two hours when the door to the ward was pushed open.

He immediately woke up, sat up abruptly, and found that it was Yang Ziqiang and Aunt Zhu who had come over.

I heard the news yesterday that my daughter had given birth, but Aunt Zhu persuaded me to stop.

He figured they must be in a panic, and he'd only make things worse if he went, so he decided to go to sleep first.

After waking up at five o'clock, he couldn't sit still any longer.

He told Aunt Zhu to pack her things and come with him to the hospital.

"Dad, why are you here so early?" Gao Baoliang asked, rubbing his eyes.

Yang Ziqiang said softly:

"It's okay, you can sleep a little longer."

Seeing that Yang Lu was sleeping soundly, he didn't wake her, but went to check on the baby in the cradle.

Looking at the rosy-cheeked baby, his face lit up with a big smile.

Unexpectedly, the little one who used to hide beside him with innocent big eyes, hoping for a hug, is now having a child of her own.

This child is fortunate; he was born with the complete love of both parents.

With his father-in-law arriving, Gao Baoliang could no longer sleep, so he busied himself moving a chair for him and pouring him water.

Yang Ziqiang told him to stop busying himself. He would wait for Yang Lu to wake up, say a few words, and then leave because he had to go to work.

"By the way, when I leave later, Aunt Zhu will stay and help you take care of the child. You must be exhausted working day and night all by yourself."

He moved a chair and sat down next to the cradle, looking at the child as he spoke to Gao Baoliang.

Aunt Zhu quickly put down her things and then began cleaning the room.

Gao Baoliang looked grateful.

“Dad, thank you. However, some of my friends just went back not long ago and will come to help today. Let Aunt Zhu go back with you. Lulu and I are worried about you being home alone.”

Yang Ziqiang waved his hand.

"You really think I'm incapable of taking care of myself? My stomach problems are much better now, and I can eat in the cafeteria occasionally without any problems."

His stomach used to flare up whenever he ate in the cafeteria.

Gao Baoliang didn't say anything more, waiting for Yang Lu to wake up before trying to persuade him.

After a while, the baby peed and woke up.

Gao Baoliang quickly changed his diaper to prevent his crying from waking Yang Lu.

But to everyone's surprise, he still burst into tears.

Yang Lu opened her eyes. "He must be hungry. Let me breastfeed him."

Out of a mother's instinct, she knew her child was hungry.

Once Binbin had his milk, he stopped crying.

Yang Lu then noticed her father's back.

"Dad, what brings you here?"

To avoid suspicion, Yang Ziqiang didn't turn around, but opened the cabinet on the wall to see what clothes the baby had to wear.

"You've had a baby, can't I come over? I'm leaving in a bit, let Aunt Zhu stay."

Yang Lu chuckled: "Dad, look at what you're saying, that's not what I meant. I was just worried that you were too busy and working too hard."

"I have someone to take care of me, Aunt Zhu, you can go back with me."

Aunt Zhu: "......"

After being disliked twice, she felt a little embarrassed.

"You all dislike me that much? Don't worry, I'll go back after you're discharged from the hospital."

Yang Lu stuck out her tongue and quickly tried to cover it up:

"Aunt Zhu, you've misunderstood. I'd be more than happy if you could stay. Dad, please be careful while you're home alone!"

Yang Ziqiang originally wanted to stay a little longer, but the driver came up to him and reminded him that he had a meeting in the morning and couldn't be late, so he had to leave in a hurry.

Just as they were leaving the hospital, they brushed past Wang Xiufen, who had come to deliver chicken soup.

She got up at four o'clock to make this pot of chicken soup. After it was cooked, Ji Min insisted on coming over, so she brought her along as well.

Yang Ziqiang brushed past them, and a few seconds later, he turned around, saw their backs, and stopped.

My heart was beating rapidly for no reason, and it felt strangely familiar.

But the driver was already urging him on, so he didn't think about it further.

Wang Xiufen brought the chicken soup to the ward and saw that they were all awake and the baby had finished being fed. She quickly asked Gao Baoliang to get a bowl so that Yang Lu could drink the chicken soup first.

When Aunt Zhu heard that she had given Yang Lu chicken soup, she quickly stopped her.

"You shouldn't drink anything too oily after giving birth."

Wang Xiufen felt offended, but still spoke politely:

“What wife doesn’t drink chicken soup after giving birth? It’s not like we can’t afford it now. Don’t worry, Lulu, I’ve already skimmed off all the oil on top.”

Yang Lu sat up. "Aunt Wang, thank you so much."

Then I introduced her to Aunt Zhu.

Wang Xiufen nodded to Aunt Zhu, thinking to herself, "They say new mothers can't drink chicken soup, how can there be such a strict nanny?"

Seeing that Aunt Zhu's expression was not good, Yang Lu introduced her to...

“This is my friend’s mother-in-law. She treats me like her own mother. That’s my friend’s mother.”

Aunt Zhu nodded, "Your mother-in-law and mother-in-law all live together. Your family is quite different from other families."

Wang Xiufen ignored her sarcastic remarks and went to tease the baby.

After learning his name was Binbin, I kept calling him by that name.

Ji Min also tried to tease Binbin in the same way, and even tried to hug him.

Aunt Zhu was startled again when she saw it.

"You're doing it wrong. You should support his neck with your hands first."

Seeing that Aunt Zhu seemed to have a natural aversion to them, Wang Xiufen used the excuse of getting hot water to lead Ji Min out.

On the way to the water room, Wang Xiufen patiently spoke to Ji Min:

“Babies are very delicate, so we have to be extra careful when we pick them up. I know you like Binbin very much, but Yirang is already being taken care of, so we won’t join in the fun and pick him up.”

Ji Min's intelligence has now recovered to that of a four or five-year-old child, and she can understand quite a lot of what is said.

She pursed her lips and nodded earnestly.

Perhaps because his attention was focused on Wang Xiufen, he wasn't watching where he was going and accidentally bumped into someone.
