Chapter 185 I said you are not allowed to die!

In the sky above the Xuanwu base, golden wings collided with destructive flames, and a meteorite as big as the moon fell from the sky, obscuring all vision.

At this moment, the whole world saw this scene of the end of the world on Earth through Gu Man’s live broadcast.

In a middle school classroom, the usually noisy students were now silent, all eyes focused on the screen in the center of the classroom. On the podium, the teacher pursed his lips, fingers tightly gripping the edge of the desk. On the screen, the Xuanwu base was surrounded by thick smoke and flames, and the burning meteorite rain was like a doomsday cry, shattering the peace of the earth.

"Teacher..." a little girl in the front row whispered, her voice trembling, "Those people are hitting the meteorite. Will they...will they survive?"

The teacher opened her mouth, as if wanting to comfort him, but in the end she said nothing. She just sighed softly and her eyes fell on the man with golden wings on the screen.

"Yes... He is the city lord of Xuanwu Base." The teacher's voice was low and hoarse, "He is protecting everyone, protecting our... future."

Although he knew the horror of a meteorite impact, he still had hope, still had hope!

Song Lufeng, hold on!

On the screen, Song Lufeng was radiating golden light. As his golden wings fluttered, the feathers turned into defensive barriers, blocking countless meteorite fragments. Flames and light intertwined, and the huge meteorite in the sky was still slowly descending, but he did not take a step back.

The children in the classroom gradually stood up, some clutched the corners of their clothes, some put their hands together, and some closed their eyes and whispered.

"Please let them live..." a boy suddenly shouted, "Please let them live!"

His voice echoed throughout the classroom, all the students looked at him, and then more voices rang out.

"Please let them live!"

"Please, protect the people at the Xuanwu base!"

In another city, in a hospital corridor, an electronic screen was broadcasting a live broadcast of the apocalypse. The screen was crowded with people, nurses, doctors, patients, and family members, all of whom stopped and stared at the life-and-death battle in the apocalypse.

A young mother holding a baby stood in front of the screen, tears in her eyes.

Her child was just born and was sleeping peacefully in her arms, but as she watched the scenes of fire and destruction on the screen, her heart was filled with unspeakable fear.

"That's the Earth of the future..." She whispered, mumbling to herself, "If the Xuanwu Base can't be stopped, what will happen to our children?"

Her voice attracted the attention of the family members around her, and everyone fell silent.

Suddenly, the baby opened his eyes and cried softly, the sound was tender but clear. Everyone present seemed to be touched, and then more people began to pray in a low voice.

"Xuanwu Base... we must survive."

"Please hold on, man! Please protect the future..."

"Please... protect them."

The mother looked at the screen, tears streaming down her cheeks. She hugged the child tightly in her arms, as if she was holding on to her last hope.

In an abandoned factory, night shift workers crowded around the TV, which was broadcasting live images of the apocalypse.

A middle-aged worker with a greasy face threw the tools in his hands to the ground, stared at the screen and cursed with gritted teeth: "Fuck, what the hell is this! If I could help, I would have picked up a hammer and done it!"

His words drew laughter from the other workers behind him, but the laughter soon died down and was replaced by a heavy atmosphere.

"Do you think they can hold on?" someone asked.

"I don't know," another man shook his head, "but look at him, he's got real guts... He's totally backed off!"

On the screen, Song Lufeng still stood between flames and destruction, the golden light like the last fortress, but the huge meteorite was pressing down little by little, and his wings had become a little dim.

"Hold on!" A worker suddenly stood up and shouted through gritted teeth, "Hold on!"

Hundreds of millions of people were watching all of this in front of their screens, and messages flooded into the live broadcast room.

[Please, Xuanwu Base must be held! ]

[Song Lufeng, please don't fall down! ]

[If everyone in the future is dead, is there any meaning in our efforts? ]

[Oh my god, can he really stop that meteorite? Please, you must survive! ]

The sound of blessings poured into the live broadcast room, like an invisible force, transmitted to Gu Man through the air and the wind.

Gu Man suddenly woke up.

She sat up from the sofa, her forehead covered in cold sweat and her chest heaving violently.

The night wind from outside blew in through the window, bringing with it a bone-chilling chill, but her face felt as hot as fire.

"Song Lufeng..."

She whispered the name, as if she had just struggled out of a nightmare, but she felt that everything was so real.

She looked around. The bedroom was silent, but her heart felt like it was being pricked by needles, filled with fear and panic.

That meteorite shower, that meteorite as big as the moon, those golden wings...all the images seemed to be engraved in her mind. She could feel the crisis of the end of the world without even a connection.

She picked up the phone with a trembling voice and shouted at the screen: "Song Lufeng will not let you die! Do you hear me? You will not die!"

The screen was dark and there was no response.

She stared at her phone, tears almost falling.

"I want to go..." She gritted her teeth and whispered, with a look of madness that was hard to conceal, "I'm going over now!"

My dear, there is more to come after this chapter. Please click on the next page to continue reading. It will be even more exciting later!

She began to frantically scroll through the screen, trying to find any way to teleport herself to the end of the world.

But the phone was helpless and sent a reminder:

"I'm sorry, I can't send you to the future... You are the singularity of time and space. If I send you to the past, both time and space will fall into chaos..."

"Damn it!"

She slammed her fist on the table, her eyes burning with anxious anger.

"I can't transport you... but I can transport power."

The cell phone system sounded again.

Gu Man was stunned for a moment and his breathing became rapid.

She looked up at the screen, her fingers tightly grasping the phone.

"Power? What power?"

"You are the son of the planet. Your original power can be transmitted across time and space to the end of the world."

Gu Man's hands were shaking. She closed her eyes and the figure of Song Lufeng appeared in her mind.

His golden wings have dimmed, the meteorite is getting closer, and everyone in the base is waiting for a miracle. That's what I mean. Anyway, I've tried my best and can only draw it like this... "Send it!" She roared fiercely, "Send all my power over!"

"Transmitting power may weaken your life energy. Are you sure—"

"Confirm!" she shouted through gritted teeth. "Transmit it now!"

The phone emitted a dazzling light, and her body began to tremble, as if an invisible force was being pulled away from her.

But her eyes were firm.

"Song Lufeng..." She whispered softly, a tear falling from the corner of her eye, "You are not allowed to die."

Inside the room, the light grew brighter and brighter, rising into the sky like a bridge to the future.

Modern blessings and the power of care eventually turned into a ray of hope, spanning time and reaching the end of the world!
