Walk out of the dormitory.
Harry gave them copies of the Forbidden Forest map.
Holding the parchment in his hand, he stood up and sat down again. After a while, he finally made up his mind and walked to Ron: "Scabbers may have found it."
Ron was startled, his hand trembled, and the quill pen drew a crooked line on the paper.
"Would you like to go and have a look together?" Harry invited him.
Ron stared at the parchment, expression numb.
After a long while, he raised his wand, chanted a spell, cleared the crooked line, shook his head, and said calmly: "No, I still won't go."
"I still have to rewrite my paper, and when I'm done I'm going to teach George and Fred a lesson."
He hadn't figured out how to face "Banban".
The pet that had lived and eaten with me for two years and had listened to many of my secrets turned out to be a man in his thirties.
When he first got the news, he felt a little sad.
But now, that sense of possessiveness has dissipated, and all that remains in my heart is disgust.
I slept for two years hugging an old man who hadn't taken a bath in thirteen years and had only rolled in the sand.
Ron felt sick at the thought.
"I'll go then." Harry stood up.
Hermione grabbed his hand and said, "Are you going alone? What if, I mean what if..."
"Of course not." Harry shook his head. "Hasn't Professor Lupin been looking for him?"
"But Professor Lupin?" Hermione still frowned. Harry had said that Professor Lupin was dangerous.
Harry said softly: "He is safe now, he is not in danger."
Hermione was relieved and let go of her hand: "Then come back early."
"If it's twelve o'clock..."
Harry interrupted her with a smile, "If I don't get a message from my Patronus by twelve o'clock, will you go find Professor McGonagall?"
Hermione nodded.
Harry waved at her and turned away.
Just left the lounge.
He took out the parchment, lit it with his wand, and said gently: "I solemnly swear that I will do no good."
The map reappeared.
Lupin was in his office, along with Snape.
Harry waited until Snape left before walking over and knocking on his door.
"Harry, is that you?" Lupin opened the door with a surprised tone.
"Why, you don't welcome me?" Harry asked back.
Lupin welcomed him in and shook his head: "No, it's just that this point is a bit unexpected."
"Have you found Peter?" Harry asked straight to the point after he walked in.
Lupin shook his head. "Not yet. The elves have searched every corner of Hogwarts, but still..."
At this point, he paused and shook his head: "It would be nice if that thing was still there."
"Marauder's Map?" Harry asked suddenly.
This startled Lupin: "How did you know?"
Harry took the map out of his robes and placed it on the table: "I just got this thing too and found Peter's name on it."
"Hearing what you said, I just made a random guess. Did you make this thing?"
Lupin nodded. "James developed this specifically for nighttime swimming. We almost broke into the headmaster's office for this."
He extended his wand and tapped the parchment.
With a nostalgic tone, he recited the command very skillfully: "I solemnly swear that I will do no good."
Lines and words appeared on the map. Lupin glanced at it and soon found Peter's name: "The secret passage on the eighth floor. He is hiding here."
Harry deadpanned and sneered, "Yeah, I was really surprised when I saw him."
Lupin gave him a questioning look.
What's so surprising about this?
It was confirmed early on that the mouse named Banban was most likely Peter.
"He's still in the castle. I thought he'd escaped long ago," Harry went on.
Lupin shook his head: "Harry, Hogwarts is the safest place in the world."
Harry said nothing, just stared at him.
Lupin was startled.
Think back to what Harry had gone through in the previous two years.
Especially last year, the incident of the Chamber of Secrets caused such a big stir. He lowered his head, but his tone was still very stubborn: "Although you may not believe it, for us, Hogwarts is indeed the safest place in the world."
Harry nodded perfunctorily: "Yeah, yes, yes."
"So, Peter blindly believed this and continued to stay in the castle."
Lupin opened his mouth and sighed weakly. He wanted to refute but couldn't find an angle. The Dementors surrounding the castle this year couldn't be used as a qualified example.
What happened...
Hogwarts was an unsafe place for three years, and Harry experienced it all.
Maybe, that is to say, is there a possibility that this is not a problem of Hogwarts?
But Harry?
He looked over with a strange look in his eyes.
"Don't look at me like that." Harry waved his hand. "I'm a very quiet person. It's the troubles that come to me, not me who seeks them."
Lupin was startled.
How does he know what he's thinking?
"Your expression is so easy to guess." Harry shook his head. "You don't interact with people very often? Or are the interactions not normal?"
Lupin hesitated, his expression complicated: "Why does your mouth look so much like Snape's?"
"I'm not like him." Harry continued to shake his head.
Lupin hummed in confusion.
Harry said seriously: "I am prettier than him, more sunny, and have a better voice."
"He is a pile of poisonous feces, and you are a poisonous flower with an appearance that can deceive others?" Lupin nodded, thoughtfully.
Harry swung his wand and the Marauder's Map flew up in his face.
Lupin took it off: "Okay, okay, I have to go find Peter, Harry, you go back early..."
Harry shook his head and said affirmatively: "Together."
Lupin immediately refused: "If Peter is the one, it would be very dangerous..."
"Is Voldemort in danger?" Harry asked lightly, cutting him off.
Lupin shuddered subconsciously and thought silently.
Harry continued, "If he is the betrayer, then he is the one who killed my parents."
"If he's not, then he's just like you."
"No matter which possibility it is, I really need to meet him."
Lupin still said nothing.
Harry continued to persuade him, "Besides, I am quite strong. In a sparring match, I can fight Professor Flitwick evenly. I don't think Peter is at that level yet?"
"He hasn't touched a wand in thirteen years, and has always appeared as a mouse."
Lupin nodded slightly: "Okay, but Harry you have to take care of yourself."
They set off, heading straight for the eighth floor, until they reached behind the grand staircase.
There is a huge landscape painting here.
Lupin was familiar with the process. He touched the portrait with his wand and said the password: "Starlight shines brightly."
In the portrait, the stars were moving, the trees were retreating, and a red brick road extended from the depths of the woods and landed at their feet.
Lupin walked in first, waved his wand, and was about to cast a spell.
Harry held down his arm: "No."
Lupin was startled: "Harry?"
"The light will attract Peter's attention." Harry said softly, pulling out a bottle of potion from his pocket and handing it over, "Snake Eyes Potion, drink it."
Lupin took it, sniffed the bottle, confirmed the potion, and drank it in one gulp: "Have you been preparing it long ago? I remember that this potion needs to be boiled for a day."
"This is a very useful potion, shouldn't it be always available?" Harry asked back with confidence.
Lupin paused.
Why is Snake Eye Potion so commonly used?
Wizards have wands that can cast the Luminescence spell.
Don't argue with children!
Lupin felt the wall and walked slowly forward.
Harry followed behind him. The witcher could see a little more clearly in the darkness. He held the map and looked at the distance between his name and Peter's on the map.
Getting closer.
A hot but tiny red light began to appear in his eyes.
Harry put away the parchment and touched Lupin's shoulder gently.
Lupin responded, bumping elbows with him.
They both nodded at the same time.
Harry dug out his sunglasses and put them on.
"Peter, you are now..."
"The ultimate Lumos!"
An extremely dazzling white light poured out from the tip of Harry's wand, covering the sky and the earth, wandering throughout the entire space in the blink of an eye, and the flash dazzled all creatures except Harry.
Lupin couldn't calm down: "Harry, what are you doing?"
There were also angry mice that made squeaking sounds like curses.
"Aren't we supposed to attack together?" Harry asked back, "Professor, what are you doing? He's going to run away!"
Lupin still hadn't recovered.
Harry waved his wand, and the robe turned into a rope, which flew out through the air and tied up the mouse, which was dizzy and dazed by the bright light and ran into the wall.
"You blew out the light!" Lupin stomped his feet, his voice very loud, suppressing his anger.
"Knox." Harry waved and the bright light went out.
Lupin rubbed his eyes and let out a long breath.
"Lumos," Harry chanted the spell again.
This frightened Lupin so much that he shuddered and turned around quickly, taking a step forward in panic. With a thud, his head hit the wall hard, making a crisp sound.
"Just a normal Luminescent Charm this time," Harry said quietly, trying not to laugh.
Lupin rubbed his head and looked back, blinking hard several times before his vision gradually recovered: "Harry, the Luminescent Charm can't be used like this."
Harry said confidently: "I'm wearing sunglasses."
"I didn't," Lupin sighed.
Harry said innocently: "I thought you would understand what I meant, but you just wanted to shout."
Lupin rubbed his forehead and said, "It's my problem. We should have discussed it before entering the secret passage."
"Where's Peter?"
The mouse, which was tied up with a rope and had been struggling, froze up and its tail dropped when it heard the name.
Harry waved his wand and the mouse flew over on the rope, dropping it in front of the two men.
"Long time no see, Scabbers."
Harry stared indifferently at its sesame-sized black eyes.
"Or rather, first time meeting Peter Pettigrew."
"My father, one of his dearest and best friends."
The mice chirped.
The amulet on Harry's chest, attached under his clothes, vibrated slightly for a few moments.
