Chapter 150: Cheer up, little badgers!

The Weasleys are all very trustworthy people.

Unless it's something like "treating a guest".

Lupin thought about it and listened to Sirius's advice. When the time came, he took the big black dog and went to the school year dinner with Harry.

The auditorium was bustling with activity.

The Hufflepuff colors filled every corner, and the little badgers were overjoyed, but when Harry appeared in the hall, their smiles froze and they stared at him cautiously and vigilantly.

Even though Gryffindor was deducted 150 points because of the gang fight they had a few days ago, the gap was widened to nearly 400 points.

But Gryffindor had Harry Potter.

He has accomplished many great things this year. If Dumbledore is willing to ask for an extra 50 points for each of them, it would not be impossible for him to catch up.

They were terrified and didn't dare celebrate too enthusiastically.

Until Dumbledore stood up.

At the Hufflepuff table, the little badgers all had stern faces and serious expressions. Even Professor Sprout imitated Professor McGonagall and stared at a meticulous face.

"Another school year." Dumbledore sighed, "I grow older year by year, but nothing can make an old man like me happier than watching you grow year by year."

"We were not very happy in the first half of the year because we had things like Dementors around us. But fortunately, we had a heroic little wizard, Harry Potter. He solved a big problem and not only cleared the grievances of the innocent, but also drove away the creatures that only existed in Azkaban for us."

The little badgers became even more nervous.

"In the second half of the school year, we got a Gryffindor heir and welcomed back the Gryffindor portrait."

He waved his hand.

A portrait flew over and floated behind Dumbledore. The handsome red-haired man looked at the group of young wizards with satisfaction. His eyes almost paused and finally fell on the Hufflepuff table.

Helga would probably be very pleased.

The future is really bright.

He didn't say anything, just waved and greeted the little wizards.

Some of the little badgers were so nervous that they were shaking.

With these words and this tone, are we already setting the stage for "400 points for Gryffindor"?

"I see a brilliant era." Dumbledore smiled, "But it's too early to say that now. Let's take a look at this year's most watched House Cup."

He waved his wand.

"Fourth place Slytherin, 5 points."

"Gryffindor, third place, 37 points."

"Second place Ravenclaw, 307 points."

"First place Hufflepuff, 421 points."

The little lions laughed.

Although their own college's score was not high, it was at least in double digits. Slytherin even only had five points - and they knew very well how this score came about. Just now, Professor Dumbledore found a reason to give them five extra points before the party started in order to avoid a "0" point and to save Slytherin's face.

The Badgers didn't celebrate.

They stared at Dumbledore's mouth.

"Let us congratulate Hufflepuff for winning this year's house cup!" Dumbledore raised his arm and waved his wand. Several lively little badgers jumped out from under the table, climbed onto the table, and danced happily hand in hand.

The little badgers felt as if it was a dream or reality. Some of them were picking their ears, while others turned around to look at Harry.

this……

Got the College Cup already?

Bonus points for Harry Potter?

Just a few words of verbal praise?

Fred couldn't bear to watch it any longer: "Why aren't Hufflepuffs celebrating yet? Do you want us to cheer for you?"

The little badgers cheered hesitantly.

The cheers grew louder and louder, and became more real.

Hufflepuff, House Cup!

Professor Sprout had a happy smile on her face. Hufflepuffs never competed for anything, but if they could win the house cup, it would be something worth celebrating. She scattered a handful of seeds from her robes and waved her wand lightly.

The entire auditorium was filled with gorgeous flowers.

Dumbledore was happy and did not stop her.

Filch sighed. Fortunately, it was the end of the semester and he still had two months of vacation, which was enough time for him to maintain the castle from inside to outside.

At the Hufflepuff table, a fifth-year little wizard was surrounded. He was very handsome and smiled shyly.

Fred and George were not stingy with their applause.

Pulling the Weasley sparkler out of his pocket.

They had not yet developed the alchemical bomb that Harry wanted, but in other areas, they had made great progress.

With a wave of the magic wand, a thumb-sized marble flew out and exploded in the air. It was colorful and condensed without dispersing, and turned into a little badger that rolled coquettishly in the air. After more than ten seconds, it slowly dispersed.

"College-style fireworks!" George introduced enthusiastically, "You can create your own college's mascot!"

"One Sickle. Just one Sickle."

Fred waved his wand again, and another marble flew out, exploding in the air and transforming into a soaring griffin, which was Harry's Patronus.

The little badgers donated generously.

The little lions also scattered silver tears.

There were of course Ravenclaw fireworks, which the young eagles couldn't help but consume.

The Slytherin table was isolated and excluded from the lively atmosphere, just like Professor Snape who was sitting in the teacher's seat, not affected by the outside world at all, and clumsily learning how to eat with one hand.

The lively night is over.

Fred and George lit a huge firework by the Black Lake.

The pattern of a griffin hunting a poisonous snake floated in the air for more than half an hour.

Lupin found them and had a good chat about future business, and it went well.

Only George and Fred were a little surprised.

Lupin was able to watch his identity transition so naturally from a professor to a clerk in a joke shop founded by his students.

There is no embarrassment.

the next day.

The young wizards left the castle and took the train back to London. The Sorting Hat did not leave with Harry. It wanted to accompany Godric during the summer vacation. They had not seen each other for a thousand years.

Lupin followed them onto the train.

Sirius didn't have a ticket, so he could only go back to Godric's Hollow from the fireplace and then go to London to pick them up.

Back to London.

Hermione and Harry asked him to call them during the summer vacation and to ask Hedwig to come over more often. Crookshanks missed her and the food made by Petunia.

Harry agreed.

Hermione waved goodbye to him and walked towards her parents. She glanced back and saw Sirius walking towards Harry. He was dressed very exquisitely, in stark contrast to Lupin next to him. This reminded her of the time when Sirius pretended to be Lupin and taught their class for them.

Obviously the same face, the same body.

She seemed to be thinking about something and asked her mother.

Mr. Granger turned around and looked among the crowd. He soon saw Harry Potter, who stood out from the crowd with two swords on his back and wearing a set of loose clothes. He couldn't help but sigh.

"Harry, I've tidied up the house." Sirius greeted enthusiastically, "I think you'll like it very much."

"I have to stay at my aunt's house for a month. I think I told you that." Harry shook his head and led Sirius out of the train station.

"Is there such a thing?" Sirius was a little hesitant.

Lupin dragged his luggage and sighed helplessly: "The protection of the spell."

Sirius clapped his hands: "Yes, there is such a thing."

"So you have to wait a month before you can go home?"

Harry nodded, he had already found Vernon's car.

Sirius looked at Lupin, "What about you, Remus? Let's take Harry over and go home together?"

Lupin shook his head, "I'm afraid not. I have to go to the Weasleys during this time."

"You want to live in their house? Don't we have a home?" Sirius was shocked.

Lupin explained: "I talked to the Weasley brothers last night. They want to open a joke shop and already have some mature products, but they haven't graduated yet, and Arthur won't allow them to drop out of school in the fifth year."

"I can take care of the outside business for them."

He paused and said, "You may not understand, but Mrs. Weasley is not someone who can be easily persuaded."

Sirius felt a little aggrieved: "So I am the only one at home during this time?"

"You can live with me at my aunt's house." Harry invited him. "The house is not big, but we can sleep in the same room."

Sirius' eyes glowed.

"I'll prepare a comfortable dog bed for you." Harry said seriously, "What kind do you like? A soft bed or a hard bed?"

"Why can't I sleep in the bed!" Sirius gritted his teeth.

Harry replied, "It's not a big house."

Sirius sighed, counting on his fingers, thinking carefully about his request, "Then let's have a doghouse. I want a big, round one, preferably with a lid."

As they talked, they walked to the car.

Vernon narrowed his eyes and looked at Harry and the two men beside him: "Is this the person you met in that freak school? A friend? Or something else?"

Sirius bared his teeth. "Speak politely, you fat pig!"

Fenon was about to curse back.

"This is my godfather, Sirius Black. You should be very familiar with his face." Harry interrupted their argument and introduced him softly.

Why would Harry say that?

And why did I feel familiar with him when he said that?

Vernon was stunned for a moment, but soon remembered. His face turned horrified and he pointed at Sirius: "You, you...you are the notorious murderer!"

"I saw your wanted poster on TV."

Sirius smiled grimly.

Vernon's face turned pale, and he held the car door tightly. "Harry, what do you want to do? You actually call such a dangerous person Godfather!"

"There are some reasons. I will explain them to you slowly when we get home." Harry waved his hand and cast the Axis Sign to calm Vernon's emotions. "But believe me, he is safe."

Vernon asked hesitantly, "Really?"

Harry nodded sincerely: "As long as you don't provoke him, it's true."
