Chapter 238 Spiritual Perception

Luna is pure.

Her emotions were as clear and understandable as the aura she displayed.

The words Harry said were like the force of a sword, and Arthur, who was introducing the story with great enthusiasm, was stunned. His emotion spread to the others, and they all stared at Harry in a daze.

The blade slashed Luna, causing her to panic and hide behind her father.

Hermione was stunned and looked at Luna in disbelief.

There are many people who are afraid of Harry.

When the lawless little lions of Gryffindor saw Harry, they immediately became as well-behaved as kittens.

The Slytherins were also afraid, and their scales stood up when they saw Harry.

Hermione had seen many people afraid of Harry, but Luna was the most special one.

"Are you scared of Harry?" Hermione leaned forward.

Luna looked at Hermione, her expression much calmer. When she spoke, her voice was as ethereal as Trelawney's, but not so contrived. She was born that way: "Yes, I am a little afraid of him."

"Why?" Hermione looked back again.

He has a handsome appearance and a strong build. Although there are a few scars on his face, they are at the edges and do not make him look hideous, but rather have a unique flavor - Hermione has always felt sorry for him, but except her, everyone else thinks these scars are cool.

Um……

Nothing changed? Still the same handsome Harry.

"He's very dangerous." Luna pondered for a moment and grabbed the corner of her father's clothes tightly. "He's more dangerous than a Thestral parasite that's been parasitized by nymph hooks."

"Narworm?" Hermione was stunned. The word sounded like some kind of parasite, but it was strange and she had never heard of it before.

"A very dangerous and mischievous creature." Luna said seriously.

Harry began to explain, "This is a biological hypothesis that has not been proven. Legend has it that a man named 'Elliguji' discovered this creature and was accidentally parasitized by it. He went crazy and died three days later."

“But no one had ever discovered it except for the fact that it was recorded in Eli Gouge’s notes.”

Hermione frowned: "I don't think I've seen it in a book."

"Hagrid told me," Harry explained. "He and Mr. Scamander were very interested in the creature, but very confused."

"It will parasitize the Thestrals?"

Luna shook her head, her tone very serious: "No, it's not an animal, it's a plant, a parasitic plant, it grows easily in the berries of the mistletoe."

"Mistletoe berries?" Harry memorized it. "Thanks. I'll talk to Hagrid."

"You're welcome." Luna replied timidly.

Hermione smiled slightly: "You see, Harry is easy to approach, he is not dangerous..."

"No, he's dangerous," Luna interrupted her, speaking more seriously, "really dangerous."

At this point, she paused and her voice became even lower: "I don't feel his kindness."

He raised his hand and pointed at Hermione and the others: "Except for you, I don't feel that he has any kindness towards others."

No goodwill?

Lovegood thought of something and looked at Harry in horror.

Luna took a deep breath: "There is no malice, just like... like a stone, so scary."

Hermione was unable to catch up with her logic and savored her words carefully. When she was sure she understood what she wanted to express, she hesitated and said, "You mean, you can't feel any kindness or malice towards strangers from Harry, so you think he is scary?"

"No, we're not strangers." Luna shook her head and emphasized seriously, "We've met a few times and we're classmates in the same school."

Hermione hesitated.

How is this different from a stranger?

Isn't it normal to have no emotions?

Just like myself...

Luna tilted her head: "Harry is different from you."

"I can feel that you kind of liked me just now, but now you kind of dislike me."

"But Harry has nothing. It's empty."

"I didn't." Hermione tried to smile kindly.

Luna twisted her mouth but said nothing. Her expression remained calm, but she kept avoiding Harry's gaze.

Arthur cleared his throat and continued the introduction: "This is Ron, my boy, you have met him many times."

Ron reluctantly greeted the family.

"This is Remus Lupin, former Defense Against the Dark Arts professor at Hogwarts." Arthur introduced the next person.

Luna's eyes sparkled: "Professor Lupin, long time no see." She greeted excitedly and eagerly.

"My father said that Professor Moody was persecuted by the Ministry of Magic this year and can no longer be a professor. Will you come back?"

"You are the best professor we have ever met."

Lupin's smile froze and he shook his head: "Sorry, I'm afraid not, but your professors this year are also excellent."

"Is it because of the werewolf thing?" Luna muttered, "How can they treat innocent sick people like this?"

Harry and Hermione both looked at her in surprise.

Few wizards have such an understanding of werewolves - in the eyes of most people, werewolves are evil, cursed magical animals. Not to mention that in the third-year Defense Against the Dark Arts class, Snape did not mention the concept of "lycanthropy" when introducing werewolves.

Arthur introduced the last person: "Xenophilius, this is Rita Skeeter, the most famous female reporter in the wizarding world."

Rita continued, correcting him: "Arthur, I am the most famous reporter, not a female reporter. No one can compare to me."

"I heard that you were persecuted by the Ministry of Magic and the Daily Prophet. Is this true?" Lovegood's eyes lit up again. He sat down next to her and asked enthusiastically.

Rita smiled as sweet as the syrup in Dumbledore's hand: "It's just some minor conflicts. We have some conflicts of opinion on news reporting."

"I need a platform that is brave enough to publish these stories that should be known to the public but for some reason cannot be known to the public, without fear of being blocked by those who abuse their power."

Lovegood nodded perfunctorily: "Of course, my The Quibbler was created to contradict the whole vulgar world."

Rita's eyelids twitched.

This was the first time she heard someone speak so confidently about "singing the opposite tune".

"Then let's talk about salary..." Rita took a deep breath and continued to smile sweetly.

Lovegood pulled out his notebook. "As an omnipresent peeper, I want to ask you, have you ever spotted a Scimitar-Horned Snorkeller?"

"What is the ubiquitous peeper?" Rita asked in a low voice, gritting her teeth.

Lovegood said confidently: "What do you think of the nickname I just gave you? It's pretty cool, isn't it?"

“This is so true to you!”

Rita took a deep breath. "I'm sorry, I haven't seen any Scimitar-Horned Snorkellers."

"What Crumple-Horned Snorkle?" Ron's eyes widened, full of confusion.

Hermione shook her head and looked at Harry.

Harry also shook his head. "I don't know either. I haven't heard Hagrid mention it."

"A magical animal in the Thousand Lakes Country." An ethereal and floating voice came, "My father said it exists, but no one has ever discovered it."

Ron was startled: "When did you come here?"

"Just now." Luna answered him.

"Are you not afraid of me?" Harry asked her.

Luna nodded, "You were kind to me just now, right after I told you about Professor Lupin."

"He's my uncle." Harry nodded, and Hermione patted Ron's shoulder, motioning him to switch seats with her so that she could sit closer to Harry.

"You seem to believe what I say?" Luna asked again, counting on her fingers. "You are a very serious and rigorous person. I thought you would take what I said as a joke."

Harry looked at her, not quite understanding what she meant.

Ron leaned his head closer: "Don't you know Lovegood?"

Mr. Lovegood said "Ah" in confusion and looked at the children.

"I mean Luna," Ron explained hurriedly.

Mr. Lovegood nodded and turned his head back to continue talking to Rita about "Crumple-Horned Snorkacks" and other things.

"What's wrong with Luna?" Hermione asked.

Ron sighed, "It seems that both of you are too focused on studying. Luna is very famous in Ravenclaw, no, in the whole Hogwarts."

"Because he's as reckless as Neville?" Harry asked.

Ron was a little surprised: "Why do you think so?"

"Miss Lovegood is only in the fourth grade this year? Since she entered school, she would post a notice on the bulletin board at the end of each semester, asking anyone who picked up her things to return them to her." Harry found something related to Luna from his memory.

Ron shook his head and looked at Luna, seeming to want to say something but stopping himself.

"There's nothing wrong with that, little Ronnie." Luna said calmly, "Those were actually pranks played on me by my classmates in the same dormitory."

"They all disliked me and called me a crazy weird girl."

Ron and Hermione looked at Luna and then at Harry.

This was the first time I met someone like Harry who could speak openly and without any emotion about the pain he was going through.

mischief?

The words she said were understated, but those things could hardly be categorized as "pranks."

"Why do you call me Little Ronnie?" Ron struggled to ask this question.

"Your brother and sister both call you that." Luna said seriously, "I thought you would like it very much."

They chatted for more than an hour before Rita and Mr. Lovegood came to an agreement and they parted ways.

"That girl is so weird." Hermione turned around and looked at Luna and her father walking away, muttering to herself.

"She has a very sharp intuition." Harry nodded, "Somewhat like Trelawney in her clairvoyant state."

"A talent for divination?" Hermione pondered.

Rita stamped her feet and cursed, her voice drowning out the discussion among the others: "Mr. Porter, do I really want to work at The Quibbler? I really can't stand that man!"

"He kept me busy discussing Snorlax and Harassment!"

"Those weird creatures that only exist in imagination!"

"He even wanted me to find those things. It's totally unreasonable. How can such a magazine still be sold? How can it sell nearly a hundred copies a month!"
