Chapter 240 Bandaging

Nymphadora Tonks was a reckless girl.

Although she was still Sirius' niece by blood, Harry had to call her sister.

Sirius still didn't want her to get involved in this.

But since Harry said so, he had no objection.

The two nodded, and Lupin just sighed dully. He said nothing and buried his head in his meal. Only Tonks was left cheering and waving her fork, like a farmer who had just killed a witcher with a pitchfork and was feeling very proud of himself.

George and Fred looked at each other.

Tonks can do it!

So are they...

They were eager to open their mouths and express their requests.

Harry looked up at them, without saying a word, his eyes serious.

All right……

They understood immediately and swallowed back what they were about to say.

After dinner, Lupin dragged Harry and Sirius to his bedroom without saying anything.

"Harry, why did you let her get involved?" Before the door could be completely closed, Lupin pressed Sirius' shoulder and questioned Harry.

"Anxious?" Harry smiled.

Lupin glared: "Why worry? It's just that she is not suitable."

"How is she inappropriate? She is an Auror. She is the most professional one in the entire Order of the Phoenix." Harry helped him sit down.

"She's not here because of her profession!" Lupin lowered his voice, resisting the urge to yell.

Harry sat down as well: "Why is that?"

He gave Lupin an encouraging look.

Lupin frowned and hesitated for a moment: "She has a little girl's temper. She must be curious and brave, so she wants to come and see, just like the Weasley brothers."

"George and Fred didn't say anything." Harry shook his head.

Lupin said unhappily, "Did they not speak? I noticed that they wanted to speak, but were frightened by your look."

"They're only seventh year." Harry stretched.

"Tonks is just a little girl," Lupin retorted.

Harry nodded expressionlessly. "A twenty-three-year-old girl?"

"Twenty-three isn't considered a young girl?" Lupin asked confidently.

"It's been six years since graduation." Harry retorted. "In fact, my mother had me two years after graduation. She is at most a grown-up girl."

Lupin was powerless to refute. He lowered his head. After a long while, he suddenly raised his head and said, "You and Tonks are the ones who recognized me..."

Sirius interrupted, "No, we didn't just meet."

"Tonks's mother is my cousin. If Andromeda hadn't married a Muggle and been expelled from the Black family, Tonks would have inherited everything from the Black family during the time I was in prison."

Lupin was startled.

"She's my sister," Harry added. "She can be trusted."

Lupin gritted his teeth and said, "I hate you people who are related to me the most!"

He remained silent, and even though Sirius and Harry gave many reasons, he still looked very resistant.

"I know what you're thinking." After a long while, he sighed, "There's no need to do this. There's no possibility for Tonks and I."

"You don't like her?" Sirius asked with a strange look on his face.

Lupin didn't reply.

Harry pointed it out mercilessly: "It's too early to say I like you, but I definitely have a crush on you."

Lupin felt a little uncomfortable.

Harry continued, "Uncle Remus is also a normal man. He was fine with you guys around before, but he's been lonely all these years. And now suddenly a lively, cheerful, clever little girl appears before him."

"Still single." Sirius added the most crucial information.

"She's always in front of my eyes." Harry's tone became gentle. "She has exactly what a thirty-something man lacks - youth and vitality. Maybe when I was asleep, I dreamed that I wished I had a wife like her."

Lupin gritted his teeth: "I never thought about it that way."

"Really?" Harry looked over.

Lupin avoided her gaze and said, "There is no possibility for her and me."

"You have a crush on her, why is that not possible?" Sirius asked dissatisfiedly.

Lupin raised his head and looked at the two of them with sincere eyes: "If you have a daughter, would you be willing to marry her to a werewolf?"

Sirius nodded immediately: "Of course I have no objection."

Lupin didn't listen to him. The question didn't even cross his mind, and the answer he gave was of no use at all.

"If it's you, I have no objection." Harry considered it and answered seriously.

Lupin had a complicated expression and shook his head: "You are my family, of course I would say that, but she is not, how could she like a sloppy ..."

"You have money now, you can buy some new robes," Harry interrupted.

Lupin went on: "A dirty ..."

Harry continued to suggest: "You can take a bath more often."

"Harry!" Lupin slapped his thigh. "I'm not talking about the outside, I'm talking about the inside. I'm a werewolf. I'm a werewolf, a dirty werewolf!"

"Aren't we trying to find a solution to lycanthropy now?" Harry said calmly.

Sirius nodded: "That's right, you have to trust Harry, he is very capable."

Lupin shrank his head. "Let's not talk about my problems. Let's be realistic. Tonks can't possibly like me."

Harry said nothing.

Sirius glanced at Lupin in confusion, then looked at his godson in confusion.

Is it... my own illusion?

Lupin stammered, "I mean, I think Tonks might like Sirius. They always play together, and Tonks likes to pester Sirius."

Sirius frowned.

Is this really my illusion?

"That's different." Harry shook his head. "The godfather is the leader of the children. The children are happy to play with him."

"It's the same with Tonks, she just loves playing with Sirius and won't play with anyone else."

Lupin arranged his features: "Harry, you just said she was a grown-up girl."

"There is no conflict." Harry looked at Sirius. "My godfather is also a grown man, but look at him, he is carefree and heartless all day long."

Sirius puffed out his chest, very proudly, not taking it as a negative comment about himself at all.

Lupin said nothing.

"We don't know what Sister Tonks is thinking." Harry continued to persuade her, "Maybe she is like I think, maybe she is like you think, but no matter what, my dear Uncle Remus, give yourself a chance."

"If her target is you..."

"Remember one of the methods I told you about?"

Lupin murmured, reading it aloud: "Pure and unconditional true love can transform a beast into a man."

Harry nodded.

"If all other methods fail, you can try this method." He said softly, "Wouldn't it be great to be cured of lycanthropy and find a lover?"

Lupin was a little moved, but he clenched his fists and said nothing.

"And you have no room to regret. Sirius and I have agreed to it." Harry stood up and emphasized his tone.

Lupin reluctantly agreed: "Oh, all right then."

Sirius and Harry, godfather and godson, clicked their tongues in disdain.

The next evening.

The four of them sat in the living room and chatted. Lupin felt a little uneasy and fidgety.

Wait until the last ray of sunlight is swallowed by the darkness.

Harry waved his wand and removed the long table, leaving only a small round table.

Lupin took a deep breath and walked to the edge of the living room.

Tonks stared in fascination.

Under the moonlight, the boundary between man and beast was broken, Lupin's clothes were torn, his hair grew out, and his head turned into a wolf's head.

Lupin turned around and looked at them, his eyes trying, but unable to help, to circle around Tonks.

"Sister Tonks, how is it?" Harry stood up and walked towards Lupin.

Tonks' voice showed no emotion: "Is this a werewolf?"

"Ugly," Lupin said what he thought she might be thinking.

Tonks immediately shook her head, "No, it's quite cute."

"Don't force yourself to lie," Harry said, touching Lupin's stubble with disdain. "It's not pretty at all when it's gray. It would be better if it were silver."

"Black." Sirius shook his head, "I think black is better."

Tonks was stunned, looked at the two of them, and burst out laughing: "Why not pink?"

The two hesitated.

"Pink wolf?" Harry's facial features fluctuated.

Sirius's face twisted: "Oh, it feels a little subtle."

"Come and try it." Tonks raised her wand and waved it towards Lupin. The magical energy swirled and fell on him, then dissipated in the blink of an eye.

The magic failed to work.

She was stunned.

"Werewolves have a high resistance to magic." Lupin explained, "Generally speaking, when dealing with such dark magic creatures, we mainly use Obstacle Spells, Summoning Spells, and Transfiguration Spells."

"You should..."

"Yes, yes, I understand, Professor Remus." Tonks felt dizzy when she heard such a preaching tone. "I learned this when I was at Hogwarts."

"What if the magic doesn't work?"

She really wanted to see the pink werewolf.

"You can use the Pink Charm on Uncle Remus once he turns back into a human," Harry reminded her.

Tonks' eyes lit up.

"Harry, you shouldn't teach bad things..." Lupin interrupted him.

Harry drew the Sword of Gryffindor.

"What do you want to do?" Lupin was startled, and his voice turned into a wolf howl, "Harry?"

"I thought of a remedy." Harry held the sword, "Maybe you can try taking your own flesh?"

When in Kaer Morhen, Geralt told him that in the process of searching for Ciri, he met a werewolf named "Mokvarg", who was eventually fed his own flesh by Geralt, and the curse was lifted.

"Eat your own flesh?" Lupin was a little confused.

Harry nodded: "Well, let's give it a try. Uncle Remus shouldn't be afraid of pain, right?"

Lupin gritted his teeth and nodded.

Tonks was a little worried and frantically dug into her pockets: "Wait, let me take out the dill first..."

Harry waved his wand, and several bottles of potions, bandages, and distilled water flew out of his pocket and landed in Tonks' hands. "Sister Tonks, the bandaging work will be left to you later."

"No problem!" Tonks agreed.
