A power outside of Great Britain?
The Order of the Phoenix had a serious look on their faces.
Voldemort is a dark wizard more terrifying than Grindelwald. This statement has been widely circulated in the British wizarding world. However... it is only limited to the British wizarding world. No matter how dark a devil Voldemort is, during his active period, his feet were never able to step out of the British Peninsula.
I have heard about this in neighboring countries.
but……
Because of this, they don't really agree with the statement that "Voldemort is a more terrifying dark wizard after Grindelwald". They are more inclined to believe that Dumbledore is old and does not have the same advanced magic and strength as before, so he was unable to quickly get rid of Voldemort like he did with Grindelwald, and finally had to rely on a baby.
The greatest white wizard is really old.
They all have this idea.
They respect and treat the elderly more kindly.
"Grindelwald?" Harry raised an eyebrow.
Dumbledore nodded: "Severus told me that Voldemort hopes to kill me as a price or reward, inviting him to join forces to deal with you, Harry."
As he said this, he couldn't help but laugh.
Most people at the table were inevitably a little panicked. Scrimgeour's eyebrows were twisted into a big ball, hanging on his face; Rita's face was very pale and her body was trembling; Arthur and Molly clasped their hands tightly and breathed deeply.
"It seems like he has really lost all his energy." Harry shook his head, "He can do such a ridiculous thing."
Those in the room who didn't know the situation looked at it in surprise.
absurd?
This is obviously very possible, so why does it get such an evaluation?
"Of course, Harry, you know those things, so of course you will find them ridiculous." Dumbledore shook his head, "But Tom doesn't know."
"Look at Arthur, look at Molly, look at them..."
"They think the same as Tom."
He paused and said in an inexplicably serious tone: "The previous generation's philosophy was that wizards were superior to ordinary people, but the dark wizards who were defeated by Dumbledore must hate Dumbledore very much."
“Although that’s probably true.”
"But Guy..." He paused for a moment, cleared his throat, and adjusted his emotions and voice. "But Grindelwald will not kill me. He would rather I be imprisoned in a cage for the rest of my life like him."
Scrimgeour breathed a sigh of relief. "So, Grindelwald won't join forces with You-Know-Who?"
Dumbledore shook his head. "Who knows?"
"That's Grindelwald, no one can guess what he's thinking or what he's thinking."
This sentence made the atmosphere, which had just been relaxed, suddenly tense again.
"Don't worry, Grindelwald won't join forces with Voldemort." Harry shook his head. "Although I haven't had much contact with Grindelwald, I don't think he would like Voldemort... who is no different from the vagrants who pick on young wizards in Hogsmeade and steal their pocket money."
The others looked strange.
Steal the little wizards’ pocket money?
this……
They couldn't tell for a moment whether Harry was scolding them for being only at the level of little wizards, or scolding Voldemort for being so narrow-minded.
Dumbledore tapped the table lightly, and the remaining honey on the plate flew up and fell into the cup. He picked it up and took a sip. "Voldemort is not a big problem. Now the werewolves, goblins, and giants are more troublesome."
"Werewolves can be dealt with." Harry looked at Dumbledore.
"I'll let Rubeus go and deal with the giant." Dumbledore seemed to be thinking about it. "Our dear Professor Hagrid has always been good at dealing with those creatures."
Harry went on: "I'll leave the goblins to Mundungus."
He looked over.
The man with shifty eyes was trying hard to stuff the plate into his arms, but Kreacher seemed to have been prepared and had cast a magic on the plate. When he was not prepared, the plate suddenly came alive, bit him hard, grew a pair of matchstick-like legs, and ran to the center of the table.
Mundungus and Sirius looked at each other and smiled awkwardly: "Of course, I will try my best."
Sirius sneered and snapped his fingers, causing the plate in the middle of the table to disappear.
This is my own stuff.
Lupin took a deep breath: "I can try to convince the werewolf."
"Now is not the time." Harry shook his head.
Lupin was firm: "At least lay some groundwork first."
"I can go with Remus." Tonks raised her hand immediately.
Everyone, including Scrimgeour, cast mocking glances at her.
Tonks' hair instantly turned pink, and she said stubbornly, "I'm just doing my duty as an Auror!"
"Ahem." Scrimgeour coughed twice and was about to say a few words as the head of the Auror Office.
Tonks looked over immediately with sharp eyes.
She added, "Kingsley is going to protect the Muggle Prime Minister."
"Mr. Scrimgeour is the Director."
"The other Aurors are not members of the Order of the Phoenix. I think I am the only one who can do this."
Dumbledore glanced at Harry.
Harry nodded.
Lupin was somewhat reluctant - it was too dangerous to come into contact with a werewolf. He was a werewolf himself, so he didn't mind being beaten up, but what if Tonks went with him?
Dumbledore didn't even look at Lupin's expression. He smiled and continued, "Very good, Tonks. This is what an Auror should be aware of."
"Then I'll leave this matter to you and Remus."
Tonks raised her head and snorted triumphantly.
Dumbledore looked at Scrimgeour again. "Rufus, I will never say anything about the Ministry of Magic. Everything depends on you. If you need any help, please find Harry."
Scrimgeour nodded.
Dumbledore looked at Rita, but hadn't spoken yet.
The ladybug covered her head and lay listlessly on the table: "I know, Mr. Dumbledore, you don't have to emphasize it, I will go find those things you said."
"There are two more unknown things that the mysterious man asked his servants to keep?"
"Don't worry, I'll do my best to find them."
Her attitude was firm, but the words that came out of her mouth were weak, as if she was sprayed with two pounds of insecticide.
The Order of the Phoenix's council meeting ended late.
For dinner they enjoyed Kreacher's cooking for the first time.
This crazy-looking, old house-elf has served the Black family all his life. He is an excellent elf, and his craftsmanship is much better than those at Hogwarts, and everyone praises him. Kreacher fully implements the noblest qualities of an excellent house-elf, providing the best service without having any sense of existence in front of his master.
even……
What surprised many people was that they had never told Kreacher about their likes and dislikes, but the food Kreacher made made them extremely satisfied and was exactly what they liked.
Is this a real house-elf?
Molly was very excited.
She even wanted to take Arthur to the Ministry of Magic immediately to pick out a qualified house-elf and buy him home.
But when Arthur told her a price, Molly immediately suppressed her impulse and threw the idea into the cold ice of Siberia.
House-elves certainly don't need any wages.
But the Ministry wants money.
A house-elf with decent appearance and personality would cost hundreds of Galleons. Even a defective one like the one Kreacher had before would cost dozens of Galleons. This was not something the Weasley family should consider.
"Kreacher isn't any good either," Molly muttered. "He's usually weird. He does a good job of housework, but I've already taken care of the old Black house. He just needs to do the last step."
"Besides, I'm not familiar with the Black Mansion, and I don't dare to touch many things."
"I clean my house better than it does."
"And his cooking skills are so-so. He doesn't even put pepper in his cream soup! He's not as good as me. No matter what soup you make, you have to add a little pepper. That's the secret to deliciousness."
Arthur nodded in agreement.
It was not easy to collect information about the Death Eaters.
Although the Department of Magical Law Enforcement basically disobeyed the Minister's orders, they had just launched a surprise search of a pure-blood house when they were immediately stopped. Thicknesse personally led the Magical Law Enforcement team to stop Scrimgeour, and the two groups even fought outside a pure-blood house. Several people were injured and sent to St. Mungo's.
This incident made the headlines of The Quibbler.
It is strong evidence to question whether "Minister Thicknesse" still has control over the Ministry of Magic.
In recent years, the Ministry of Magic seems to have found it difficult to find peace.
Cornelius Fudge stepped down in an ignominious manner, and Thicknesse is also on the same path, and competition in the Ministry of Magic is becoming more and more intense and obvious.
This gave Rita Skeeter a good opportunity. When all eyes were on the Ministry of Magic, she sneaked into the manors of those pure-blood families almost unhindered and collected intelligence without any burden. In just one month, she used up three rolls of film and took the developed photos to Hogwarts to look for Dumbledore and Harry.
In the principal's office.
Rita stood there uncomfortably. Even though Dumbledore gestured for her to sit down several times, she didn't dare to do so. Standing made her feel more at ease.
"During this period, it seems that you have found your previous fun again?" Harry flipped through the photos one by one, looked up at Rita, and said calmly.
Most of these photos do nothing for them.
Gossip about each family.
For example, letters about dates with mistresses and lovers, secretly taken photos during trysts, and some more outrageous things - there was a patriarch of a pure-blood family who privately found the greatest pleasure in playing the role of "a loyal bull terrier."
Maybe Voldemort would like it.
After all, they all have a common characteristic - that is, they are extremely perverted.
But Harry had no interest in that.
Dumbledore was slightly interested, but not nearly as much as Godric and the Sorting Hat.
As for what they were most concerned about, the reports about Horcruxes, or whether Tom had asked the pure-blood families to keep anything for him, there were no clues.
