Harry continued to cast spells on the map.
It’s not enough to just show the person’s name.
When his father and his colleagues made the Marauder's Map, their capabilities were not sufficient. They could only leverage the power of the Oath in Hogwarts. A map like the one made by Dumbledore, which could detect the intrusion of people outside the Oath, was what a qualified map should do.
Barty Crouch Jr., you never know when he might suddenly visit the Forbidden Forest.
Aragog the spider couldn't remember the dates of humans.
Several spells fell.
The school emblem in front of Harry flashed a light and fell onto the parchment, leaving the mark of Hogwarts in the upper left corner.
Hagrid was about to reach out and take it, and it seemed as if everything was settled.
But it’s not over yet.
He waved his wand lightly and tapped the parchment. An illusory golden thread was drawn out and rolled into a circle. A small branch flew up from the ground and intersected with the golden thread coil. After a moment, it turned into a wooden ring inlaid with a lush green wood, floating in the air.
Harry grabbed the ring and put it on his finger, then handed the parchment to Hagrid: "Take the map."
"If any creatures outside the Forbidden Forest break in, or if any creatures with a danger level above XXXX run out, the map will give you a prompt."
"It's the cry of an owl."
Hagrid nodded. "How do I use it?"
Harry looked over with a puzzled look.
How else can a map be used?
"Harry, isn't that map going to require some kind of spell or prank or something?" asked Hagrid.
Harry sighed: "That was a prank my dad and his friends used. They had to use a spell to prevent the professors from finding out."
"But Hagrid, you're a professor yourself."
"Besides, you are also responsible for guarding the Forbidden Forest. Isn't it natural for you to have a map of the Forbidden Forest?"
Speaking of this.
Harry paused. "I have cast a spell on the map. Only those who have signed the Hogwarts Oath can use this map, which means students and faculty members."
"Be careful not to let the students steal the map."
Hagrid nodded and said naturally: "Don't worry, I will be careful about the Gryffindors."
Harry opened his mouth.
I wanted to correct myself, I said "student" instead of "Gryffindor".
On second thought, apart from Gryffindor, it would be difficult for students from the other three houses to do such a thing.
The pledge is complete.
The magical animals retreated cautiously, the unicorns and centaurs protected the group of lively and cheerful cubs, the cattails rolled under the fallen leaves, and the other creatures went their own places.
Hagrid and the others sent Grawp back and left, heading out of the Forbidden Forest.
"Harry, thank you so much." Hagrid held the map happily and looked at the densely packed lines of text on it.
The centaurs returned to their habitat.
The poisonous horn followed the unicorn. Oh... now it seemed as if its whereabouts had been discovered and it was being chased by the unicorns.
Aragog also slowly moved to his own nest.
The eight-eyed giant spiders gathered together, with their names stacked on top of each other, forming a large pool of ink. Apart from that, only a few scattered ones could be seen in their territory, either patrolling or heading to Aragog's lair.
A group of Nifflers were wandering around the edge of the Forbidden Forest, hesitating and wondering how to sneak into Hogwarts.
The Forbidden Forest appeared so clearly before him.
Everywhere, every end.
"We have to thank you too." Harry shook his head and said softly, "If it weren't for you, I wouldn't know about Barty Crouch Jr."
Barty Crouch Jr.
Maybe he found out on his own, or maybe Voldemort instructed him to do so.
But anyway…
He knew that Ravenclaw had signed a contract with the Forbidden Forest, which prevented the Forbidden Forest from harming Hogwarts students. He also knew that the Acromantula was not part of the Forbidden Forest.
He can also sneak into the castle and the Forbidden Forest under Dumbledore's nose.
How did he do it?
"In addition to this, I'm afraid I have another thing to trouble you with." As they were about to walk out of the Forbidden Forest, Hagrid hesitated and spoke slowly.
Harry looked up.
Hagrid raised his hand, with his thumb and index finger pinched a little distance apart: "Well, can I still learn grammar from you?"
Ron looked up in surprise, looking at Hagrid, his face full of disbelief and panic: "Hagrid, what are you thinking about?"
Learning a language is a boring thing.
It is not as interesting and unknown as magic, and is as boring as the history of magic.
You need to memorize grammar and words.
There are many grammars that look similar, and many words that look similar.
Ron would rather study fifth grade for another year than continue learning this stuff - unless he had to learn math instead.
"I have to think about Grawp," Hagrid sighed. "I know a lot about magical creatures, but I know so little about everything else."
"There's very little I can teach him since I brought him back."
"Listen, I brought him out. I am his brother, so I have to be responsible for him. I can't really treat him as a magical animal, like Fang, Fluffy, or Norbert, and keep him in the Forbidden Forest."
"I hope that he can transform from a giant into a human being, and at least be able to communicate normally with humans."
"He can become a ranger in the Forbidden Forest, right? There is no better person than a giant to deal with magical animals and little wizards."
Hagrid babbled.
"But I can't teach Grawp what I know."
“So I have to keep learning.”
“Knowledge is power.”
At this point, he sighed heavily: "What Harry and Dumbledore said is right. I have to keep learning."
"We can help you educate Grawp directly." Ron was afraid that Harry and Hermione would agree, so he spoke first.
Define yourself from a student to a "professor".
Hagrid shook his head. "That's fine, of course."
"But I'm sorry to bother you, Harry has more important things to do."
"Without Harry, Grawp would be too dangerous for the two of you. He is a giant, and I may not be able to defeat him without a wand."
"and……"
"He doesn't like studying and is a bit stupid. I'm smarter than him and I can learn by myself."
Ron smacked his lips, thinking of the trees Grawp had knocked over so casually, but said nothing.
"Hagrid, you've matured." Harry nodded with relief.
If it was Hagrid three or two years ago, he would probably have had a hard time taking care of their safety and would have taken them directly to Grawp without any regard.
Hagrid chuckled, "Really?"
"Olym also said that I am much more mature and manly than I was during the Triwizard Tournament."
Ron raised an eyebrow and his expression turned strange.
"Of course no problem." Hermione agreed, "I'll ask my mother to send some books on infant education."
