Chapter 356: The Greatest Thing is Love

He is very cautious.

After turning into a werewolf, his strength was much greater than usual, and he was afraid that he would accidentally crush the glass bottle.

What made him even more anxious was that the werewolf's claws couldn't even unscrew the cork.

Tonks waved her wand, her faith became stronger, but lycanthropy inevitably had an impact on her body. Everything that belonged to a wizard was gradually weakening, and everything that belonged to a werewolf was getting stronger.

"You could try to poke the cork out with your claws," Tonks reminded him.

Lupin suddenly realized what was happening, and he raised his claws and stabbed them into the cork.

A "click" sound and a "pop" sound as the cork was pulled out were heard together.

Tonks's hands had turned into claws and she couldn't hold her wand.

Ears grew out and the eyes completely turned into wolf pupils.

The bones of the face were broken up into one long piece, and the mouth opened and closed.

She asked with difficulty and effort, hoarsely: "You haven't answered me yet, are you willing to..."

"Yes, I do." Lupin said anxiously, "Okay, don't talk, drink the potion quickly."

Tears fell from my eyes.

He was filled with remorse. If... he had not thought of escaping, and had agreed to her earlier, or had rejected her decisively earlier, would things not be like this today?

Tick-tock——

A few tears mixed with the potion and fell into Tonks' mouth.

A wonderful light blossomed in her.

A dark, blurry shadow broke away from her body with a sound like pulling a cork out of a bottle, a clear and pleasant pop.

It was a black wolf.

With Tonks' head.

With a "sizzle" sound of moonlight, everything turned into ashes.

A wonderful thing happened after the wonderful light. Tonks's hair fell off, the wolf kiss was broken again, and she turned back into a human. Her ears shrank back as if they had never grown back.

Lupin looked at her in shock.

"I don't think I've turned into a werewolf?" Tonks muttered. She grabbed the wand again, shook it gently, and began to wave it.

A barrier spell was cast to repel the werewolves that pounced on the unsuspecting Lupin.

"I'm feeling great now." Tonks lowered her head and looked at her hands. "I don't feel like I've been playing for half an hour."

"Are you sure there's no problem?" Lupin pushed away the werewolf coming from the other side and asked with concern.

Tonks shook her head and got up from the ground, "I'm fine now."

She waved her wand, and the spell worked once again, pure and powerful.

The two of them joined forces again.

The werewolves, having been exhausted, were not as fierce as they were half an hour ago, but driven by their animal instincts, they were working tirelessly.

Another ten minutes later.

The sound of an engine came from the sky. Harry was riding a motorcycle with Professor Flitwick sitting behind him. They finally arrived.

Without waiting for the motorcycle to come to a complete stop.

Harry jumped off the motorcycle and waved his wand. His robes expanded to slow down his descent. Then he flicked his wrist and the ground rumbled. Stone pillars rose up and turned into cages to lock up the rampaging werewolves.

They are furious and want to break the stone in pieces.

But from stone to iron, it only takes a blink of an eye.

Flitwick exclaimed in the sky: "Harry, I can't use this thing!"

"Hey, Filius, relax, I'm the one driving it." The Sorting Hat muttered and flew slowly towards the ground.

Harry landed and walked quickly to Lupin and Tonks: "Are you okay?"

"Not bad." Lupin shook his head and opened his mouth, not knowing how to describe what had just happened.

Harry looked back and saw werewolf corpses all over the ground.

Lupin and Tonks didn't kill, and they didn't have time to finish him off.

The dead werewolves were killed by their own kind.

"A potion that catalyzes the emotions of wild animals." Harry sniffed and smelled something covered in blood. "That's why the werewolves rioted."

"We didn't see any Death Eaters." Tonks shook her head, "Only werewolves."

Lupin sighed: "It's my fault. I didn't realize that the potion would speed up my transformation. If I had just saved the person and left..."

Harry shook his head: "As long as nothing happens."

"Professor Flitwick, could you please remove the spell?"

Flitwick climbed down from the motorcycle, wiped the sweat from his brow, and raised his wand.

The locking spell that Tonks had been unable to break shattered in the blink of an eye. The stagnant feeling in the air dissipated, and a breeze blew out, sweeping away a lot of the bloody smell.

"Harry, I have something to tell you." Lupin finally sorted out his words and spoke slowly.

Harry looked at him.

"Tonks was bitten by a werewolf." Lupin said briefly.

Harry and Flitwick looked over in surprise. Even the Sorting Hat couldn't help but turn on its headlights and shine them on Tonks. After being punched, it switched to low beams with a wronged look on its face.

Got bitten?

But she didn't turn into a werewolf.

"I fed her the potion you gave her," Lupin went on. "I wanted her to retain her sanity, but for some reason, she turned back into a human."

He described the situation carefully, not missing the black wolf with Tonks's head.

Harry was silent.

"Could it be that Tonks has just been infected with lycanthosis, so the potion can cure it?" Lupin carefully put forward his guess.

Harry shook his head: "No, the potion can only suppress, not dispel."

"We have also done tests in this regard. People who have just been infected with lycanthropy will not be cured even if they take this potion."

"Did anything else happen while you were feeding me the medicine?"

Snape was not so crazy as to instruct werewolves to bite innocent people - although he wanted to do so. Every month, there were many cases of passers-by being bitten by werewolves due to accidental transformation. Snape contacted Madam Pomfrey and reached an agreement with St. Mungo through her. Every patient would be asked if they wanted to try the potion developed by Mr. Potter, which might have some special effect on lycanthropy.

Many people agreed.

But without exception, even those who have just been infected with lycanthosis cannot be cured.

Lupin shook his head: "It seems not..."

"He was crying," Tonks began.

Lupin was stunned, with confusion in his eyes. Is this also considered?

"I remember there were Hermione's tears in the potion, right?" Tonks said seriously. "I saw Remus' tears fall into the potion when he agreed to be with me."

Especially on the last few words "together", she emphasized the pronunciation.

"Ah, congratulations, Aunt Tonks." Harry applauded her. "Uncle Remus' tears?"

"Harry, your reaction is too dull!" Tonks pinched her waist and gritted her teeth.

Harry nodded: "I always thought you would be able to be with Uncle Remus."

Lupin was at a loss, he lowered his head and looked at his paws.

He had mixed emotions.

Yes, Harry felt certain about it, and Sirius should think so too.

A girl who chose to be with me when I was at my most embarrassing, ugliest, and had nothing...

Harry's words made Tonks feel much better and she hummed twice.

"So, actually, all along, these were the tears of a virgin?" Harry touched his chin, thoughtfully.

Lupin's eyes widened and he growled in surprise, "Harry!"

Professor Flitwick stifled a laugh.

"Just kidding." Harry waved his hand expressionlessly, "I think they should be the tears of a lover."

Tonks and Lupin were both stunned. They looked up and looked at each other.

Tonks blushed.

Lupin also looked a little unnatural.

"The biggest problem with lycanthropy, or werewolves, is... denial." Harry sighed, "The world denies them and thinks they are aliens."

"My family members denied it, my friends denied it..."

"The transformation on the 15th of every month brings huge troubles. The werewolves begin to deny themselves, thinking that they are unstable and dangerous."

“They live in this world, yet they are outside of it.”

"They will ask themselves, are they still human?"

Lupin looked away.

Tonks grabbed its paw.

"Some people comfort werewolves. They will say, look, you still have friends, look, you still have relatives." Harry continued, his tone cold, as if reading a narration, "There are also people like me. I will help you find a way to become a normal person."

"Maybe, I mean maybe, what I'm doing can be of some use."

"But all of these are only exacerbating one thing, making the werewolves more aware that they are werewolves, not normal people."

"In fact, the antidote to lycanthropy is just one sentence. No matter what you become, beautiful or ugly, I will always be by your side."

Professor Flitwick sighed and bowed his head as well.

The Sorting Hat was puzzled and tilted the handlebars, but it really wanted to experience this kind of human emotion.

Harry smiled.

I should have thought of this earlier. Idealistic magic should be solved with idealistic methods.

"A tear of true love." Harry said softly, "No wonder the potion we've been researching has never been able to cure werewolves."

Lupin turned his head back. "No, Harry, that's what you did. I understand."

"I don't blame myself." Harry interrupted him with a smile, "So let me verify my guess, Aunt Tonks."

Tonks held out her other hand and pointed at herself: "Am I crying now?"

Harry nodded. "For Uncle Remus."

Tonks took a deep breath, "Okay."

She kept a straight face for a while, then burst into laughter: "Oh, no, Harry, I can't do it now."

Now, all she could think about was Lupin's promise to be with her.

Happiness and joy fill my entire body, leaving not even a trace of sadness.

Harry raised his wand and cast a spell.

Tonks fell into a hallucination, and after a while, the hand gripped Lupin's claws tighter. She cried out in panic, tears streaming down her eyes.

Levitation spell.

The tears that had not yet fallen down the nose were collected and formed a small pool in the glass bottle.

The illusion is lifted.

Tonks gasped for air, "Harry! That's what you do to your aunt! There's no preparation at all."

"You can't cry, so I can only help you." Harry took out the potion, unscrewed the cork, and dripped his tears into it.
