Chapter 403 Owl

Hermione heard nothing from Dandelion.

It wasn't as exciting as when Yennefer told him about Geralt's past.

Dandelion explained.

He would not cover up for Harry, but he was still very young. Although he was very outstanding and even had the ability to talk to snakes, the name of "Snake Tongue" was still known to only a few people, even with the vigorous promotion of such a famous bard like himself.

Even among the weirdos like demon hunters and warlocks.

Harry is also the weirder one.

Although he was certainly handsome, there were many sorceresses who wouldn't mind having a pleasant evening with him.

but……

Harry couldn't do it so carefreely, this was something Dandelion, Zoltan and the others would often use to make fun of Harry - when he thought of the sorceress who was flirting with him, who looked glamorous but was more than two or three times his age, he immediately became timid and didn't dare to continue.

Young people are always like this, taking their age too seriously.

Eat and drink enough.

Dandelion went upstairs, dragged Harry along, and begged him to conjure up a comfortable big bed for him.

He is very good at capturing such insignificant details.

Harry and Hermione also had a comfortable night's sleep.

Hermione woke up and the morning sun was already streaming in through the window.

She cast a spell on herself and cleaned herself up.

Then he took out a change of clothes from his bag cast with the Traceless Stretching Charm - although it was just the same school robe and a new hairstyle - before he walked out of the room and down to the first floor.

Harry got up early, as always.

Zoltan was also in high spirits, cleaning the house and playing with an owl.

Priscilla and Dandelion were talking loudly. The bard seemed to have not slept all night, and there were dark circles under his eyes, but he was more energetic than Zoltan. He held a pen and wrote proudly.

"Are you up?" Harry turned around.

Hermione nodded.

"Hey, little girl, I guarantee you haven't seen this before." Zoltan greeted her and showed it off proudly, "It's a beautiful owl. It's very smart. I think it should be able to speak at any time. It's just a little too quiet."

"Owls don't seem to be able to mimic words," Hermione reminded him.

Zoltan raised an eyebrow. "Oh, really? Who cares."

"Didn't Harry tell you?" Hermione sat down at the table and, waving her wand, helped herself to bread and butter.

Zoltan turned around and looked at Harry: "What did you say?"

"Owls are our most loyal companions and messengers for wizards." Hermione said as she spread butter on her face. "In fact, Harry has one, and she's a very pretty girl."

Zoltan's eyes widened: "Harry! You didn't even tell me this."

Hermione put her knife down and looked over as well.

Harry whispered, "That's what I was going to say."

"But Uncle Zoltan is talking nonstop and is ready to show off to you. I think Uncle Zoltan's expression right now will be very interesting, and there is no chance for me to interrupt."

Hermione snickered.

Zoltan sighed, "Harry, Dandelion is right, you have become much worse."

"Geralt's words are not as evil as your thoughts."

"Thank you for the compliment." Harry nodded and looked at Hermione again, "Did you figure out anything?"

Hermione tilted her head and looked at the owl without saying a word.

Harry nodded.

Hermione took a bite of the bread, raised her wand, and chanted the spell: "Manifest."

This is the spell most commonly used by Aurors.

It was also the first spell Snape taught them after the Patronus Charm in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class in their sixth year this year.

Its function is to monitor whether there are other people in an environment who cannot be observed with the naked eye.

Including but not limited to, Disillusionment Charm, Invisibility Cloak - of course, the Invisibility Cloak in Harry's hand is no longer within the detection range of this spell.

Animagus can also escape detection by this inversion spell.

After all, this spell is to completely transform oneself into an animal.

The spell feeds back.

Hermione glanced over, a little surprised.

There were only five people in the room, but when the spell was cast, it turned out that there were six people.

Invisible?

I'm afraid not.

If it had been an uncontrollable enemy, Harry's reaction wouldn't have been so leisurely.

Is that the owl?

Hermione flicked her wand again, and a spell fell on the owl, locking its hearing: "Is this owl transformed from a human?"

Zoltan turned his head in disbelief, not knowing for a moment whether to look at the owl or at Harry.

Priscilla and Dandelion also stopped discussing and looked up.

Harry nodded: "Probably."

"Cursed?" Hermione asked again, thinking of the black horse that Harry mentioned when they were in the Crow's Nest.

Harry shook his head: "It doesn't look like it."

"Some powerful sorcerers can also do this, using magic to change their body shape and complete the transformation." Harry continued softly, "Of course, it can't be compared with Animagus. After all, no matter how the magic changes her, her essence is still human."

"She?" Hermione caught the third-person pronoun sharply.

Harry nodded, "There aren't many warlocks who can do this."

"I especially like to turn into an owl."

Dandelion also thought of something: "The sorceress who fed you the potion and wanted to coax you into a wonderful night, but you almost chopped off her head?"

"Dandelion, you didn't seem to tell me this last night." Hermione's voice was gentle.

Dandelion raised his hands. "I'm sorry, but this is not a very interesting experience for Harry."

"A three-hundred-year-old woman." Harry said simply, "Philippa Eilhart."

Zoltan looked at the owl, feeling even more incredulous.

"I find it more difficult to believe that she would appear in Novigrad than that she is Philippa."

"Damn, I spent a lot of money."

Harry responded: "You can keep him and give him to Geralt when you meet him. I think Yennefer will be happy to buy her for a large price."

"Whether she is Philippa or not, Yennefer will be very interested."

Yennefer and Philippa don't have a very good relationship.

As for Harry...

His relationship with Philippa was even worse.

"You're right." Zoltan nodded. "Then I'll raise her. I mean, what should I pay attention to when feeding her?"

"Just treat it as a normal owl." Harry watched Hermione finish her bread. There was only a little milk left in the cup. He stood up and said, "Remember, don't remove the shackles on her feet."

Zoltan nodded. "I understand. I promise to take good care of her before I meet Geralt."

Harry took Hermione's hand.

Snap your fingers.

The spell on the owl was broken, and it cooed twice, just like an ordinary owl.

Apparition.

With a snap, they disappeared.

Only the three people in the room were left sighing silently.
