Chapter 427 Premonition

Dumbledore was stunned.

Fox seized the opportunity, slipped into his own nest, summoned a fire, and burned the two jars in his hands to ashes. It was just a poor, innocent and cute little phoenix, how could it have any bad intentions?

At this time, Dumbledore didn't care about the two cans of cockroaches he had bought secretly.

"Did Crouch finally say something to you?" he asked, Snape's words made him understand something.

Snape shook his head, his face heavy.

Another possibility emerged in Dumbledore's mind: "Did Voldemort contact you?"

Snape nodded. "Today, in Little Hangleton, he is going to be resurrected."

"Young Hangleton?" Dumbledore frowned.

Snape said nothing, just looked at him quietly.

Just two years ago, during Harry's fourth year and the Triwizard Tournament, Voldemort's main soul attempted to revive in Little Hangletonshire.

And now, still in Little Hangleton.

The office was quiet, with only the occasional sound of Fox's flapping wings.

Snape's patience was running out: "Albus, what are you thinking about?"

“This is a great opportunity.”

"As long as we make sure that Nagini is still in the same place and that the Horcrux has not escaped, we can get rid of this Horcrux!"

"The threat of Voldemort will never exist again!"

Dumbledore nodded: "Severus, calm down."

"Yes, of course I know that, but..."

"Is it really possible that Voldemort could do this?"

Snape was stunned. His mind and emotions were difficult to understand Dumbledore's question.

Dumbledore waved his hand, conjured up a chair for him, and asked back, "Two years have passed, and he has even contacted a very powerful race in another world. That race has mastered magic that can travel through worlds, and has conquered many worlds."

"Could it be that he has made no progress at all and wants to revive using the method he used two years ago?"

Snape calmed down and sat down.

Regarding the magic that resurrected Voldemort, Dumbledore deduced it after hearing Harry's introduction.

The bones of my father, the flesh of my servants, the blood of my enemies...

Use these things as anchors to call yourself back into the world.

The servant obeys his own orders.

Enemies can be kidnapped.

But my father's bones just lie quietly in the grave.

That is why the resurrection took place in Little Hangleton.

But what Dumbledore said was right. After two years, could he really not have made any progress at all?

Voldemort had many chances to be resurrected.

Even...after he was sent to the world of the Ain'El elves, he could have been resurrected with their help, but he didn't.

Both Dumbledore and Snape could guess the reason.

A regular resurrection would not bring him any extra power. He would surely crave for a stronger power, a power that could suppress Dumbledore and Potter.

"He doesn't trust me and is testing me?" Snape frowned.

Dumbledore shook his head: "I don't think so."

"He may think that you will be monitored by me and I will follow you as long as you leave Hogwarts."

Snape said nothing.

Dumbledore continued: "Harry also said that no matter what, I cannot leave Hogwarts."

"Even if Voldemort really wants to resurrect using the old method, this is not entirely a bad thing."

"Severus..."

Snape, who had completely calmed down, began to think flexibly at this moment. He interrupted Dumbledore and nodded: "I know, I will go over and check the Dark Lord's brain to make sure he has not split out more Horcruxes."

Dumbledore smiled and nodded: "That would be the best. Thank you for your hard work."

Snape sneered.

"However, my dear Professor Snape, I remember that you have classes at this time according to the timetable." Dumbledore raised his hand and waved towards the table.

Several class schedules for teachers flew over.

He took out one of them: "Ah, it is."

Snape sneered: "Albus, I hope that after learning my lesson, some fourth-year brats can pick up their wands and destroy the Dark Lord."

"The first time Harry killed Voldemort was in his fourth year." Dumbledore smiled triumphantly. He was very happy that he could finally fight back successfully.

Snape narrowed his eyes and looked at Dumbledore: "Then I will go back to class now and take them there in the afternoon. Let them deal with the Dark Lord."

"I'll let Sirius take your place." Dumbledore waved his wand, summoned his Patronus, and flew out of the window.

Snape stood up.

He cast an invisibility spell on himself and quietly returned to the office.

Before leaving, he had one more thing to do. If Voldemort was really resurrected, he needed someone to prove his loyalty.

Crouch wakes up.

Through the window, he could feel that spring had finally arrived in reality.

And I... have spent decades of spring, summer, autumn and winter in my dreams.

"Bati." As always, black slime flowed out from under his body, and Snape spoke in a hypocritical voice with a hint of joy, "I have good news for you."

Crouch said nothing.

"The master is back." Snape said softly.

Crouch's head shot up.

Snape continued, "The master has just contacted me. He will return and be resurrected today, but the location will be in Little Hangleton, not Hogwarts."

Crouch said weakly, "Really, Severus, what are you wondering about?"

"Why are you in Little Hangleton?" Snape asked bluntly, "From what you said before..."

Crouch interrupted him: "Father is the one who decides everything."

"Even though I had made many plans for my father, he was still my father."

"Severus, my father needs you now. I can still hold on. I can hold on for a long time."

He closed his eyes.

After a few minutes, the black smoke dissipated.

He counted silently in his mind.

It's still ten minutes.

Snape left Hogwarts, using the Disillusionment Charm to hide his figure the whole time. As soon as he walked out of Hogwarts, he waved his wand without hesitation and disappeared.

The next second, he appeared in Little Hangleton.

In the cemetery where Riddle is buried.

It is quiet here, there are no people or living creatures.

He stood there waiting.

The two-sided mirror in my arms made a buzzing sound.

Snape took out the mirror, and Karkaroff's face was still reflected in it.

"Severus, you're here." Voldemort said.

Snape nodded, "Yes, Master. Dumbledore tried to follow me, but I shook him off. He didn't know my destination."

"You have done well, Severus." Voldemort's voice was emotionless. "Now I will give you your first task."
