Chapter 453: Breaking the Heart

Gail hadn't really meant to invite them to tea.

This is just a method used in mind games.

But they seem a little naive...

As they sat down one after another, Gale also came over and sat down: "I wonder why you came to see me with such a fuss?"

Harry watched Dumbledore pour him a cup of tea and whispered, "I'll tell you two things."

"First, the current Eredin is no longer the original Eredin. He is a man named Voldemort pretending to be him."

Gail stared at him. "Since you are here, I think you can weave a lot of perfect evidence for this lie."

"And I, an Ain'el elf, cannot possibly offend our king without solid and credible evidence."

The words of the elves always seem to be so difficult to understand.

But everyone present was smart and understood what he meant.

The elf didn't mean to deny Harry's statement. He hoped to be provided with more and more convincing evidence rather than empty words.

Snape sneered. "You could put it more simply, instead of saying it like your tongue is tied in your mouth."

Gail looked over.

The man, who was as thin as a skeleton, had raised his wand.

The sharp sword is invisible.

The invisible blade flew past the tip of his ear, cutting off a few strands of hair, but it did not fall to the ground. Instead, it floated into Snape's hand.

But the spell did not stop after cutting off the hair. It continued to fly violently, hitting the wall hard and carving a deep mark.

Gale's expression remained unchanged, still calm and peaceful, just like the curse that could take Snape's life if he wanted to, was not aimed at him halfway.

He just held his hands, staring at the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor who was still taking action with curiosity and seriousness.

Snape pulled out a bottle of potion and threw Gale's hair into it.

Gurgle, gurgle—the sticky medicine liquid tumbles with bubbles.

Its color changed in the blink of an eye, turning into silvery and galaxy-like spots of light.

Snape swallowed the potion without hesitation.

The taste is great, refreshing like mint, slightly sweet but not cloying, and has a warm feeling, like drinking hot chocolate.

His features began to distort, and as Gale watched, Snape took on his appearance.

"What is this?" Gale looked at him carefully.

Exactly the same, whether it was the appearance or some small features on the body that only oneself or those who knew oneself best would notice, even... the hair that had just been cut off, were all perfectly replicated.

perhaps……

Transfiguration magic can do this.

But this is definitely not the result that should be achieved by someone who has never had any contact with you and has only met you once.

Snape spoke in Gale's cold voice: "Polyjuice Potion."

"One of our potions only requires a few physical materials to perfectly transform into the appearance of a human being."

There was an uncontrollable look of shock in Gale's eyes.

Unheard of.

Too simple, too perfect.

"Didn't Eredin tell you this?" Harry said softly, "When he kidnapped the two masters, he also took away a lot of books. Although the Polyjuice Potion is rare, it would not be without any introduction."

On the Ministry of Magic's list.

Things like Polyjuice Decoction are "controlled items" rather than "contraband items", and their danger level is even lower than that of "truth serum".

Two masters?

books?

Gail frowned slightly, but quickly relaxed, keeping his expression unchanged.

This tiny movement might be able to hide from the eyes of Dumbledore and Snape, but it definitely could not hide from the eyes of the two witchers.

"You didn't know?" Harry's tone was inevitably a little surprised, "Eridin never told you about it?"

Gale picked up the teacup and concealed his inner emotions: "It seems that as I heard, you demon hunters all have incredible keen observation skills."

"What do you know about our world?" Harry inquired.

Gale shook his head. "Very little."

"Eridin told me that he knew very little about it. He only knew that it was a brand new world, and that it seemed that besides the Ancient Blood, there was a force that could stop the White Frost."

Harry pressed, "That's all?"

Gale nodded silently.

Harry put down the cup and leaned forward slightly. "He probably told you that he had joined forces with some people?"

"Yes," Gale replied.

Harry thought for a moment, "But he didn't seem to tell you that he sent a team of knights to invade our world."

Gale was startled and shook his head.

Although he is responsible for the logistics of the entire Wild Hunt, the king of Ain'El is Eredin after all, and he has the power to make all arrangements.

"Then he didn't tell you that Caranthir had been captured by us?" Harry said softly.

The soft voice was like a sudden thunderclap out of nowhere.

"Karanthir was caught by you?" Gail looked as if he could hardly maintain his expression.

Harry nodded his hat.

A person flew out and grew bigger after landing. It was Karanthir with a dazed expression.

Snape raised his hand and skillfully cast another Imperius Curse.

Gail's face turned grim.

Harry continued in a low voice: "Then he shouldn't have told you that he would use Imlerith's life to test and confirm that I would stay in the world of witchers for a day?"

"Ilerith is dead?" Gale exclaimed, his expression completely broken.

Harry nodded. "I didn't keep his body. It has no value. Besides, the hat will be angry. It has emphasized many times not to put weird things in it."

Gail stared at Karanthir.

How he wished that the golden boy in front of him was a wizard in disguise.

Can……

The existing information, combined with what Harry and the others had confessed, undoubtedly proved that their words were not lies.

He had indeed not heard from Caranthir for a long time.

He had asked about it, but Eredin simply evaded the question by saying, "Caranthir has other important tasks."

And Imlerith.

I did hear that Ileris was sent out on a mission two days ago, and no news has been received since then.

"But this potion only copies a person's body, not the soul, right?" Gale took a deep breath and continued to ask.

Snape sneered, using Gale's face and Gale's voice to mock him: "Wizards have many ways to dig out a person's memory."

“All of us here can do it.”

He walked over to Caranthir, looked him in the eyes, and used Legilimency to roughly collect his memories, reading them to Gale one by one.

Read one item at a time.

Gail's face turned pale.

It turns out that not only the body can be imitated, but also the memory and the soul.
