Chapter 80: First Meeting

Tom's handwriting is not very good.

Perhaps because of the blood flow, it looks fierce and somewhat ferocious.

The word sincerity is particularly striking.

Because we are all students of Hogwarts, so I should show mercy?

Harry whispered, "I have to go by myself."

"Is your brain like Dumbledore's, with a few pieces of Fudge in it?" Snape's face suddenly changed, and he pressed his wand against Harry's waist. He felt that the leather armor was a bit of a hindrance, so he raised it and pressed it against his head again, "Who is that person? Don't you know?"

"You want to face him alone?"

“So many professors…”

Harry interrupted him: "I know who he is."

"But he's not in good form right now, and I have a chance."

Snape was impatient.

Harry then said, "Not even one student died at Hogwarts. Is he afraid to kill anyone?"

The corpses on the ground were collected by Scrimgeour.

“That’s his sincerity.”

"Just to see me."

"General."

Harry laughed to himself.

"I can't just watch my friend get killed by him and do nothing..."

Having said this, he stopped abruptly.

Harry saw Snape's expression change drastically, regret, heartache, trance...

It was rare for a master of Occlumency to have such a noticeable change in expression.

Of course, Snape had broken down in front of him many times, especially during the nightly detentions.

All of this has to do with my mother.

Apparently this time will be no exception.

His eyes turned into surprise, and there was some disbelief in his tone: "Why, could it be..."

Snape avoided his eyes subconsciously.

"Oh, very good." Harry's tone and expression returned to calm. "When I come back, I think we should have a good talk, or I can talk to Professor Dumbledore."

Snape said nothing.

Harry turned to leave.

Ron, who was painted with white by Professor McGonagall, rushed over, grabbed Harry's hand, and pleaded with his eyes: "Harry, will you bring Ginny back?"

The blood came over with a hint of warmth, and the formed blood scab left a rough friction feeling on the skin.

"I can't make any promises." Harry looked Ron straight in the eyes.

The pair of blue eyes were gradually covered with tears.

The strength of the handshake became weaker and weaker.

"But you treat me as family," Harry continued. "Ginny is your sister, and she's also my sister. I will do my best."

Ron's strength suddenly returned and he held on tighter without saying anything.

Just now, when he saw Ginny being possessed, he didn't cry.

I didn't cry when I was nailed to the wall.

But now, he couldn't stop his tears, they rolled down and he burst into tears.

McGonagall waved her wand and brought Ron back: "Okay, Mr. Weasley, come back and apply the medicine."

She looked at Harry with a complicated expression: "You and Ginny must come back safely."

Harry nodded and turned to leave.

He was already familiar with the way to the secret room.

The deepest door had been opened long ago, and torches were lit around it, emitting bright light. It was even very ceremonial, with flowers and a red carpet paved on the ground.

Quinn!

A pale golden shield covered his body.

Armor protects you!

Another invisible shield shrank to protect Quinn.

Only then did he walk in.

The hall was clean and tidy, and was filled with a gloomy and powerful magical power that beat like a heart, lively and full of vitality.

At the end, under the monkey-like Slytherin statue, Ginny lay flat on the ground like a sacrifice, holding the old notebook in her arms.

"Senior Tom, I'm here, only I'm here." Harry said softly, looking at Ginny.

Black mist poured out from the notebook and condensed into a human figure.

Tall and handsome, with short brown hair and a pair of deep eyes like black gemstones, unlike Lockhart who always has to use strange behaviors to show his charm, his charm is revealed naturally at all times.

A gorgeous azalea flower.

"Hello, Harry Potter." Tom Riddle bowed to him kindly. "I'm glad that we can finally meet in person."

"Are you really Voldemort?" Harry tilted his head. "You look like two different people compared to the last time I saw you."

"It has a nose and hair."

Tom's face darkened a little: "Of course, I am him, him fifty years ago."

This answer reminded Harry of something.

"It's really hard for me to believe it." Tom stroked his hair and said passionately, "It's really hard for me to believe what I heard from Ginny."

"I am so outstanding, and I eventually became the Dark Lord that everyone fears. I was defeated by a tiny baby. Even though..."

Harry interrupted him. "So good that you go to the ladies' room every night?"

Tom's face froze and he growled, "That's Slytherin!"

"I've been looking for the secret room since I entered school, and it wasn't until fifth grade that I had to find it."

"It's really hard work." Harry nodded in agreement, "Let's go to the girls' bathroom..."

"Harry Potter!" Tom gritted his teeth. "Your mouth is much worse than Ginny described."

"I thought people like you wouldn't get angry." Harry raised the corners of his mouth and smiled lightly, "After all, you have so many people in your palm."

Tom raised his head proudly: "I'm glad you praise me like this."

"I'm not bragging, I'm just playing with people's hearts..."

"The Imperius Curse?" Harry interrupted again.

Tom shook his head. "No, no, no, don't think of me as inferior. Although I have the help of magic, it's more of my personal charm. I have always been talented in this aspect."

"No one except Dumbledore would dislike me."

"Ginny trusted me almost from the beginning. I have to thank Hogwarts for its help in detecting dark magic items at the school gate."

"I'm not that lowly, and in terms of Dark Arts, I'm afraid that when I was in my third and fourth years, I was far better than these professors—except Dumbledore."

At this point, Tom looked at Harry with an extremely burning gaze: "Ginny said that you are a very perceptive person, and no clues escape your eyes."

"A pair of peculiar eyes. The greatest dark wizard before me also had such eyes."

“That’s why I’m on guard against you.”

"But you still caught me. You started looking for the Immovable Snake in the castle like I did. I had to take action early to recover some strength and move the basilisk away."

Having said this, Tom paused and turned to look at the little red-haired girl lying on the ground.

"Ginny's a good girl."

"It's just a pity. Should I praise her for her sharpness or say that she is short-sighted?"

"Between you and me, she ultimately chose to trust you more. I was originally planning to use her to recover some of my strength, but she was planning to hand me over to the professor on Christmas."

"She was smart enough to even guess that I might clear her memory and wrote a note in advance."

"But the little girl's methods were too immature. She couldn't hide it from me. I had to make some noise and hand myself over to Lockhart."

"You know, you shouldn't use lowly creatures like house elves too easily."
