"Why don't you leave..."
Hagrid noticed Kyle's sudden stop and turned to ask, "Did you find anything?"
Kyle didn't answer immediately because he was thinking about something.
Hagrid followed his gaze with some curiosity and soon noticed the dancing moonbeasts.
"So you're watching this." He suddenly realized, "Yes, the dance of the Moon Maniac is really charming, but we are... well, this is a rare opportunity. If you like to watch it, we can go back to the castle later."
Although he was very anxious, seeing Kyle's absorbed look, Hagrid did not urge him any further.
Hogwarts has a curfew, and young wizards are not allowed to leave the common room after 10 p.m. So in his opinion, except at this time, Kyle usually can't see such good things.
"No need Hagrid, business is more important, let's just go back."
After coming to his senses, Kyle shook his head and continued walking out of the forbidden forest.
When passing by Hagrid, Kyle suddenly asked: "By the way, have you been to the Forbidden Forest before Christmas?"
"Before Christmas?" Hagrid asked doubtfully. "Why do you ask that?"
"Nothing." Kyle said, "I'm just a little curious, do you need to go to the Forbidden Forest every day?"
"Not every day, maybe twice a week." Hagrid thought for a moment and said, "As for before Christmas, I can't quite remember, but it should be about the same."
"Nothing unexpected happened?" Kyle frowned and asked, "For example, you found something wrong and came to the Forbidden Forest in the middle of the night to check the situation."
"No." Hagrid shook his head and said affirmatively: "The Forbidden Forest was very peaceful before. I only came to the Forbidden Forest at night when I was collecting Moon Beast feces or visiting Fluffy."
"Is that so?" Kyle looked at Hagrid thoughtfully and said nothing more.
The two walked through the dark grounds back to the castle and headed straight for the headmaster's office on the eighth floor.
As they climbed the stairs, Hagrid muttered quietly, "I hope Dumbledore isn't asleep by now, or we'll have to wait until tomorrow."
"It's okay." Kyle comforted him, "The old man is a light sleeper. Knock on the door more and he will wake up naturally."
When they reached the second floor, they met Filch and Mrs. Norris coming down from upstairs.
The trophy display room was on the fourth floor. He had come straight over after hearing the noise just now, and was now standing in front of Hagrid.
"How come you're back so soon?" Filch said gloomily, "This is not in compliance with the regulations."
"Go away, Filch." Hagrid reached out and pushed Filch aside impatiently. "I have to go find Dumbledore now. I don't have time to waste with you."
The skinny Filch was like a chick in front of Hagrid and was pushed aside.
Filch's face turned red with anger and he wanted to go forward to grab Hagrid, but the other party's three-meter-tall body quickly calmed him down.
Filch thought he was a reasonable person, so he stood there gesticulating and talking about the school rules about curfew, trying to drive Hagrid out of the castle with words.
Maybe it was because he was too excited, but he accidentally hit a portrait next to him.
“Boom…”
"Ouch, who hit me in the face!" The person in the portrait was very dissatisfied after being hit by a big dick for no reason. He opened his eyes and shouted angrily: "What are you doing? It's time to sleep now!"
Filch explained a few words, and when he turned back he found that Hagrid had already walked up the stairs and disappeared around the corner of the corridor.
Filch cursed as he straightened up the portrait that he had knocked askew, then left through another staircase with Mrs. Norris.
On the other side, Hagrid couldn't help complaining after leaving the second floor: "This old idiot with a weird temper always lets the cat follow me every time I come to the castle. I really want to introduce it to Fang."
Kyle shrugged noncommittally.
To be honest, with Yaya's timid personality, he may not be able to deal with Mrs. Norris.
The two came to the dripping stone statue on the eighth floor. Hagrid cleared his throat and said, "Iced lemonade."
The command was correct and the statue jumped aside, revealing a staircase behind it.
"Dumbledore told me," Hagrid whispered. "He told me to tell him as soon as I had any news."
After walking up the stairs, Hagrid began to knock on the door... no, to be more precise, he banged on the door.
Perhaps he was used to the heavy castle door, because even though he knocked very gently, the oak door still made a banging sound.

Kyle felt that even if he kicked, he couldn't make such a loud noise.
…
In the headmaster's office, Dumbledore sat behind the desk in light pink pajamas with strawberry patterns on them. He said helplessly, "Hagrid, I won't go to bed for a while. You could have knocked a little softer."
"Sorry, Dumbledore." Hagrid said a little embarrassedly, "I will pay attention next time."
"I don't mean to blame you, Hagrid...it's just that I really don't have time to find a new door now." Dumbledore smiled and said, "So what's the matter with you coming to see me so late?"
"Well, we found something very strange in the Forbidden Forest," said Hagrid. "I found my footprints in a place, but I'm sure I've never been there."
Kyle walked forward, placed the piece of soil with footprints and the corroded tree trunk on the table, and described the situation in detail.
Dumbledore bent down and looked carefully at the things on the table, his crooked nose almost touching the dirt.
Then he touched the corroded tree trunk with his hand.
"Did you find traces of your existence in a place outside of your memory?" Dumbledore murmured to himself, "This is indeed a very strange thing, but it is not completely impossible. It only requires a little help..."
Hagrid's eyes lit up and he asked quickly, "Do you know what's going on?"
"Not yet. I need to think about it." Dumbledore stood up, his eyes shifted slightly, and he said gently: "But Kyle, you need to go back and rest now. I hope you will gain something from this confinement."
"All right……"
Although Kyle was a little disappointed that he didn't hear more news, since Dumbledore said so, he nodded and said, "Well... Good night, Headmaster, good night, Hagrid."
"Goodnight, Kyle."
