Far away from London, there stands a huge reef in the sea, with a crooked and dilapidated house on it.
The biting cold wind brought by the storm blew in through the cracks in the wooden walls, making the four people in the house shiver.
But even so, there was still a tense atmosphere in the room.
"What you saw are all stupid lies. Now, hand me the damn letter!" Vernon Dursley said breathlessly, his face flushed.
Opposite him stood a thin boy with round-framed glasses and a scar on his forehead.
He was holding an opened envelope in his hand, with the Hogwarts emblem on it standing out prominently.
Harry Potter looked confused.
"Is this what you have been preventing me from seeing?" He frowned and asked, "A letter of admission to a magic school?"
"Shut up!" Uncle Vernon let out a shrill cry, his face even turning a little purple.
"There is no magic in this world!" he said word by word. "Give me the damn letter quickly, and then we will go home!"
"I don't!" Harry shook his head firmly and held the letter in his arms. "This is for me!"
Uncle Vernon was so angry that he never thought that after running so far, the damn owl would still find him.
Moreover, he had never seen such a big owl. When it spread its wings, it looked like a monster and landed directly on their boat.
Uncle Vernon was terrified and tried to chase the owl away, but before he could get his new rifle out, it snatched it away with its claws and threw it into the sea.
Then it just stood there, looking at them viciously with its scarred face, and its dagger-sharp claws left several deep scratches on the boat in a threatening manner.
The whole family didn't dare to take any other action.
"monster!"
That owl is definitely not normal, it's a monster just like those people!
Vernon roared madly in his heart.
Fortunately, the owl left after Harry read the letter, so there was still time. As long as he destroyed the letter... there was still time.
"Give it to me!"
Uncle Vernon roared and rushed towards Harry, trying to take the letter by force.
Harry turned and ran, twisting and turning around the small room, avoiding Vernon's large hands.
His thin body made him more flexible, and Uncle Vernon didn't even touch his clothes for a short time.
But the room was so small after all, and by the time Aunt Petunia and Dudley reacted and joined the pursuit, Harry was soon pinned to the ground.
"Give me the letter!"
Uncle Vernon sat there panting, breathing heavily and pulling hard at Harry's arm.
The process was quite simple, and soon Uncle Vernon pulled Harry's hand away from his chest.
But just as he reached out to take the letter...
"boom!"
The sudden knock on the door shook the whole cabin. Everyone was startled and stared at the door in horror.
"boom!"
Another knock on the door.
Dudley was so frightened that he huddled in Aunt Petunia's arms and said in horror, "It seems like something is trying to come in."
"Who's outside the door?" Uncle Vernon stood up tremblingly and shouted fiercely, "I'm warning you, I have... I have called the police, you are trespassing!"
It was quiet outside for a while, and then there was a click, and the door was removed directly.
A burly man was standing at the door.
"Can you give me a cup of hot tea? It's not easy to make such a long journey..." Hagrid squeezed into the house with difficulty and put the door panel back.
"It's raining really hard. If I had known, I would have listened to Kyle and taken the Knight Bus... What are you doing lying on the ground?"
He bent down and pulled Harry up from the ground, smiling and saying, "You must be Harry."
Harry looked up at the fierce, wild, faceless face and smiled.
He could feel that this person was very friendly to him.
Hagrid smiled and said, "When I saw you last time, you were still a little kid. You look a lot like your father, but your eyes are like your mother's."
Uncle Vernon gave a weird cry, as if he had stepped on an electric switch, and his whole face turned purple.
He wanted to kick Hagrid out, but that was obviously impossible.
"Go away, you big fool."
Hagrid ignored Vernon's shouting and lit the fireplace on his own.
No one knows what he did.
"How do you feel, Harry?" Hagrid said with a smile. "Much better, right?"
"Yes." Harry looked a little reserved. "I'm sorry, but I really don't know who you are."
Hagrid said, "Just call me Hagrid. That's what everyone calls me. I'm the keeper of the keys of Hogwarts. You should know Hogwarts."
"The magic school?"
Harry glanced at the letter he had been clutching.
"Yes, it turns out you have received it."
Hagrid touched the pocket of his coat. There was an identical letter in it, but it seemed unnecessary to take it out now.
"It was sent by a very large owl," Harry explained. "It was bigger than any bird I've ever seen."
"Oh, that's Sai...well, it's called Raton now."
Hagrid took a greasy, slightly burnt sausage from the tongs and handed it to Harry.

"Radon? Is that the owl's name?"
Harry took the sausage and took a bite. The rich aroma made him squint his eyes involuntarily. He had never eaten anything so delicious in his life.
"Yes, he likes that name."
Hagrid seemed to have thought of something, and his expression looked a little lost.
But the disappointment soon disappeared, and no one present, including Harry, noticed it.
"Oh, I almost forgot... Happy Birthday, Harry."
Hagrid pulled a brown paper box from his inner jacket pocket. "Maybe I crushed it a little, but it still tastes just as good."
"For me?"
Harry couldn't believe it. He actually received a gift on his birthday. He opened the box and found a big cream cake inside.
The cake had been squeezed and looked very flat, and the green syrup on it had become a little blurry because it had stained the box, but you could still vaguely make out "Happy Birthday" and his name.
"Let's try it," Hagrid said expectantly.
Harry nodded and scooped a dollop of cream and syrup into his mouth.
Sweet...sweeter than anything he had ever tasted, like he had stuffed a whole jar of sugar in his mouth.
"And this." Hagrid placed another toffee next to the cake.
"Candy?!" Harry's eyes lit up, but he didn't eat it.
Because of that piece of cake, he couldn't eat anything sweet for the time being. But Dudley next to him swallowed and stared at the cake.
He hadn't eaten anything all day and was already hungry.
"Don't eat anything of his, Dudley!"
Vernon said sharply, then he looked at Hagrid, "Look, I'm not paying him to learn how to do tricks."
Hagrid smiled contemptuously.
Harry Potter can't go to Hogwarts just because he doesn't have enough Galleons. Don't be ridiculous.
But Uncle Vernon didn't know this and he kept talking.
It was at this time that Harry found out that his uncle and his family had known about the magic school for a long time but had kept it from him.
"ah!"
Suddenly, a shrill scream came from behind them.
Aunt Petunia hugged Dudley like crazy, and his tongue began to swell rapidly, soon growing to about four feet long.
Uncle Vernon didn't bother to argue with Hagrid. He rushed over with a roar, as if trying to put his tongue back into Dudley's mouth.
Dudley covered his mouth and cried out in pain.
The whole cabin suddenly became a mess.
Hagrid looked at Dudley, then at the umbrella in his hand, looking confused.
Did he use magic just now? No! But if it wasn't him, how could the child suddenly become like this?
Could it be that the broken wand went off accidentally? But this has never happened before! Harry was stunned watching from the side.
There was no need to explain anything further, as he now completely believed in magic.
The magic was so amazing that he didn't even notice what Hagrid did just now, and Dudley became like that.
Harry's eyes lit up more and more. The keeper of the keys to Hogwarts? He must be a very powerful wizard!
