Chapter 131 Ron's Wand

Because of something unexpected happening in the ministry, Chris and Diana did not come back at noon, so Kyle had lunch at the Weasleys' house.

Mrs. Weasley, who hadn't seen Kyle for more than half a month, was very happy. She directly poured seven or eight sausages into his plate and forced him to have three more bowls of rice.

After eating, Kyle was so full that he didn't want to move anymore.

"Would you like to help get rid of the goblins together?" Fred invited enthusiastically after lunch.

"We are serious Quidditch Beaters now. We can definitely beat you."

"Next time." Kyle shook his head and took out a yellow envelope from his pocket and said, "I'm going to Diagon Alley to buy some things for the new semester."

"Oh, by the way, you haven't bought anything yet!"

Mrs. Weasley, who was busy in the kitchen, came over at this time and said, "Wait a moment dear, we can go to Diagon Alley with you."

"No thanks, Mrs. Weasley."

Kyle smiled and said, "The things that second graders need are actually similar to those of first graders. I just need to buy some parchment and ink. I'll be back soon."

"But..." Mrs. Weasley seemed hesitant.

"It's okay, Mum," said Fred. "We can go with him."

George also said, "Yes, Mom, don't worry."

"Okay then." Mrs. Weasley thought about it and said nothing more, but she still glanced at the twins and instructed them, "Come back quickly after shopping, and don't take Kyle to those messy places."

“We’re not going to those places.”

"To be honest, even though you are our mother, you don't understand us at all."

While the twins were talking to Mrs. Weasley, Kyle suddenly noticed Ron sitting next to them... and the wand he had been holding in his hand.

He had seen this wand at Charlie's last term. It was badly worn and even the unicorn hair was exposed.

Kyle suddenly remembered something and looked up and said, "Mrs. Weasley, you misunderstood Fred and George."

After hearing what Kyle said, the twins nodded repeatedly and silently gave a thumbs-up with their hands behind their backs.

But Kyle pretended not to notice their actions and continued, "They followed me to Diagon Alley because they actually wanted to buy a new wand for Ron."

"Hmm... hm?"

Fred and George were nodding when they suddenly froze and turned to look at Kyle in disbelief.

Ron, who was standing beside him, was equally incredulous.

Merlin, Fred and George...are they going to buy him a new wand?

Ron couldn't believe what he heard, but then he felt a surge of ecstasy in his heart.

He wanted a new wand so badly that he even dreamed about choosing a wand at Ollivander's these days.

There was no way. Although the family was rich, Mrs. Weasley refused his request to buy a wand on the grounds that the Galleons were twins and she was just keeping them for safekeeping.

Unexpectedly...

Ron's eyes were red and he looked at his two brothers with a touched face, as if he would cry in the next second.

Fred and George hadn't reacted yet and their expressions looked a little dazed.

When did they say they were going to buy Ron a new wand? Wasn't that a complete waste of Galleons? He was only in his first year, so he could just make do with Charlie's old wand.

However, out of trust in Kyle, the twins hesitated for a moment and did not refute.

"Y-yes, Mom."

Fred gritted his teeth and said, "We did want to buy Ron a new wand."

George took a deep breath and forced a dry smile. "We didn't tell you because we were afraid you would object."

"How could I object, dear?"

Mrs. Weasley's eyes were also a little moist. She walked forward and hugged Fred and George gently.

"I'm Fred, Mom." George blushed and said shyly, "You got the wrong one again."

"I'm sorry, Fred, dear." Mrs. Weasley let them go and said with a smile, "By the way, wait a moment."

Having said that, she went upstairs.

Taking advantage of this moment, the twins immediately looked at Kyle, their eyes full of confusion.

Kyle shook his head calmly, signaling them to stay calm.

Soon, Mrs. Weasley returned with a bag in her hand.

"Here are your Galleons."

She handed the bag to George, who was closest to her, and said, "I've always been worried that you were still young and would spend money recklessly after suddenly having so many Galleons, but now it seems that you have really grown up.

Take it, you can't buy the wand without it."

George couldn't wait to open the bag, which contained about thirty golden Galleons.

There was a glimmer of disappointment in the twins' eyes.

They thought all the Galleons were in there, but they didn't expect there were only thirty.

Mrs. Weasley guessed his thoughts immediately and said with a stern face again, "Why, you think it's too little? Forget it then."

After saying this, she pretended to take the bag out.

George took a step back and shook his head, "Of course not, Mom, how could we think it's too little."

As if afraid that Mrs. Weasley would regret it, George walked straight to the fireplace, holding the bag in one hand and grabbing a handful of Floo powder in the other.

"It's too late. We have to go."

After saying that, he threw the Floo powder into the fireplace and walked in without looking back.

"Diagon Alley!"

In the blink of an eye, George disappeared.

Seeing this, Fred and Kyle immediately followed.

When Kyle opened his eyes again, he was already in front of the fireplace in the Leaky Cauldron.

Fred and George sandwiched him, one on each side, and said quickly:

"When did we say we were going to buy Ron a wand!"

"We need an explanation, Kyle."

Seven Galleons for a wand, enough for them to make a hundred Fat Tongue Toffees.

"Don't get excited. Aren't you curious? Why is Ollivander's so dirty..."

Kyle leaned close to the two men's ears and whispered something.

After listening, the twins' eyes gradually became interested, but there was still a hint of confusion.

Fred said hesitantly, "A wand costs seven Galleons... Isn't that a waste?"

"It's okay. I'll pay for it." Kyle said with a smile, "Just think of it as a gift for Ron's enrollment..."

"flutter……"

As he was speaking, a round figure rolled out from the fireplace.

Ron didn't even bother to brush off the dust on his body. He immediately stood up and looked around, searching for something.

It was not until he saw Kyle and the twins not far away that he breathed a sigh of relief and ran over happily.
