Chapter 135: Rich Snape

The new student named Hermione left soon with her father.

As soon as she left, Fred got a strange look on his face.

"She has memorized all the textbooks..."

"Yes, Fred, you heard it right." George suppressed a smile and said, "We did meet another Percy."

Percy also memorized all his textbooks before entering school, for which Mrs. Weasley rewarded him with a new set of robes.

"Which house do you think she will be sorted into?" George asked.

Fred raised an eyebrow. "Is that even a question? It must be Ravenclaw."

"I think so."

"No, I think it's Gryffindor." At this time, Kyle, who had not participated, suddenly said: "Don't forget, Percy is in Gryffindor."

"That's different, Kyle." Fred shook his head and said, "We are all Gryffindors."

George also said: "In fact, we think Percy wanted to go to Ravenclaw more, but the Sorting Hat put him in Gryffindor."

Kyle stroked his chin and said, "How about we make a bet?"

When they heard about the bet, Fred and George immediately became interested.

"What's the bet?"

"How about one Galleon."

Kyle took out a gold coin and shook it between his fingers. "If she is sorted into Ravenclaw, I will lose one Galleon to each of you."

“…”

Fred and George looked at each other, communicating something quickly with their eyes.

Soon, the two reached an agreement.

Fred looked at Kyle and said maliciously, "That's too boring. How about we try something exciting?"

"How do you say..."

"Let's make a bet!" George took out a piece of toffee from his pocket. "If that little girl is sorted into Ravenclaw, you have to eat this Fat Tongue Toffee at the start-of-term banquet."

"Are you sure?" Kyle's eyes became a little strange: "What if she is sorted into Gryffindor?"

"Then let's eat." They both said at the same time.

Kyle's look became even stranger. He suppressed his smile and took the toffee from George.

"Tsk, alright, I agree."

Fred and George held out their hands and said, "It's a deal then!"

“It’s a deal.” Kyle also stretched out his hand and shook theirs.

Originally he just wanted to earn some pocket money, but since Fred and George were so enthusiastic, he didn't mind watching the fun.

The three people who let go of each other's hands looked at each other, smiled at the same time, and did not mention the matter again.

Kyle looked at the platform entrance next to him and asked curiously, "It's been so long, why haven't Ron and Mrs. Weasley come in yet?"

"I'm not sure. Maybe we met another lost freshman." Fred said.

"This is a common occurrence at King's Cross."

George looked towards the train. "Never mind that. Let's get on the train. Lee Jordan wrote to say that he got a big marsupial spider as a pet. Did any of you notice he was here?"

Speaking of pets…

Kyle subconsciously glanced at the unremarkable box in his hand.

Newt's reply arrived that afternoon, in which he agreed to Kyle's request to adopt the Niffler.

Now, the Niffler is in the box, and Kyle has given it a nice name.

Jerry.

After the three of them boarded the train, Fred and George quickly went to find Lee Jordan, while Kyle walked towards the rear of the train with his luggage.

But before he could take two steps, the door of a box not far away suddenly opened, and a little head popped out from inside.

Kanna waved her hand and said, "Kyle, this way!"

Connor was the only one inside, and after seeing Kyle, she couldn't wait to close the door of the box.

Kyle glanced at her warily and subconsciously took two steps back, "What do you want to do!"

"I have something I want to tell you."

Connor didn't notice Kyle's little move. After she closed the door, she said excitedly, "Did you know that Professor Snape is also my relative!"

"Yes, I know."

"I didn't believe it before, but... huh?" Kanna was stunned and said in disbelief: "You, you knew?!"

"Yes." Kyle smiled and said, "I also know that Professor Snape's mother's last name is Prince."

Kanna suddenly fell into a daze.

No, this plot is totally different from what she imagined.

Shouldn't Kyle be surprised and shocked? But...

Kanna opened her mouth and asked dryly: "How did you know?"

"My father told me." Kyle put the box on the shelf. "He was a classmate of Professor Snape and happened to know some of the situation."

Chris did tell him this when he came to school before the holiday.

Kyle had only asked the question tentatively, but he didn't expect Chris to actually know the answer.

Kanna frowned and said, "Then why didn't you tell me before?"

"Do you believe me?" Kyle asked.

Kanna hesitated for a moment and shook her head in frustration. Before what happened during the summer vacation, she really would not believe such an outrageous thing.

"Oh, right..." At this moment, Connor seemed to suddenly think of something and asked doubtfully, "Is Professor Snape's visit to me related to you?"

Kyle didn't deny it.

"I'm taking money from people to help them get rid of their troubles. So, have those troubles been solved?"

The letter Kyle wrote on the first day of the holiday was sent to Snape. The content was very simple, just describing Connor's recent situation.

Although he slightly exaggerated some of the content, it is basically the same.

"Well, it's solved." Kanna looked at Kyle deeply.

"On the second day of summer vacation, Professor Snape came to my house. He revealed his identity and took me to Gringotts."

Kyle, who was taking out snacks, was stunned for a moment and asked, "Why did he take you to Gringotts?"

Kanna said: "He asked the goblin to take back the vault in my house and transferred everything inside to his vault."

"Wait...you said Snape moved all your stuff into his vault?"

The more Kyle listened, the more he felt something was wrong. What kind of outrageous move was Snape making?

Afraid that others would snatch them away, so you snatch them all up first? Is this any different from other people?!

As if she understood Kyle's intention, Connor quickly explained, "He didn't want to take it for himself, he just kept it for me."

"I've heard this kind of thing too many times..." Kyle said faintly, "Anyone who believes it is a fool."

"It's true." Kanna said seriously, "In fact, there is not much money left in my family's previous vault. The only thing that is still valuable is probably my family's land deed.

But Professor Snape has tons of Galleons, so there's no need for him to lie to me."

"I hope so..." Kyle sighed, "Apart from these, what else did he do?"

"He bought the house next door to mine and lived there all summer."

Speaking of this, Kanna couldn't help but smile, "In the past two months, everyone who came to my house was driven away by him."

"Snape bought a suite next to yours?" Kyle's mouth twitched.

Okay, he admitted that his previous thoughts were a bit dirty.
